Kayachikitsa Paper 3 consists of 9 chapters with a total of 500 marks (300 theory + 200 practical), where only 5 chapters (Anavaha manas, Vajikarana, Indriya prajikara, Manas, and Rasayana) will have Long Answer Questions (LQs), while others will only have MCQs and Short Answer Questions (SAQs). The exam blueprint requires 20 MCQs (20 marks), 8 SAQs (40 marks), and 4 LQs (40 marks) for theory, with no choices in questions. Students must thoroughly prepare the 'must-to-know' topics as they carry the highest weightage, while 'desirable-to-know' and 'nice-to-know' topics have limited question possibilities. The examiners are mandated to restrict questions per chapter to the allocated marks, ensuring comprehensive preparation across all chapters.

Just wait for a while.
I stop sharing.
Hello ma'am.
>> Uh yeah, I'll I'll start sharing. Just a second.
PowerPoint is not being accepted. It it stopped responding immediately. I don't know. So I restarted sharing.
>> H ma'am. H ma'am. Okay. Am I audible?
>> Yes, ma'am. You're audible.
>> Okay, just a second.
Namaste everyone.
Hope my screen is visible now.
>> Yes ma'am.
>> Thank you.
Um thank you Jnasa for again arranging this particular meeting and uh uh I hope this time it will go uh uninterrupted henceforth. So in the beginning itself I would like to thank all the JNASA uh organizing members for creating this particular platform. Um prepare perform uh what is the next one? And uh what is that? Three Ps in in your dignasa uh prepare, perform and prosper. Right? I I I do remember that prosper. And I would like to add uh last time also I added that is practice and pursue. So these two uh another two piece you add in your uh life and uh uh your ayurvea practice life will be jingala definitely it's going to be wonderful if you pursue your studies if you pursue your uh uh conviction and also if you continue to be involved in the subject then definitely the things are going to be much more better and you will definitely cherish like practicing vya and also So you will attain that uh uh stage of to be called as bishak.
Uh so let's not delay with that. Uh anyways uh Jasa has taken up a very good job um to prepare the children. Uh no no more childrens they are majors right? So preparing the students for the examinations because this is a new syllabus and many of those topics have been already done. I know and uh you people are almost prepared for.
Then uh another thing is uh um I would also like to uh congratulate for many of such organizations being taken up by JNASA to bring awareness about Ayurveda and Ayurveda education, Ayurveda medicines, pharma companies and all. Uh you people are doing a splendid job indeed. Uh so uh continuing uh uh with these kind of activities definitely it makes um and it creates different kind of milestones in practice of Ayurveda to understand more about Ayurveda to live the way of Ayurveda and also uh you know to bring Ayurveda concepts in common people's life. uh I I really appreciate this particular job and also uh I would thank uh Dr. Anand Ki for uh referring my name to discuss about the kayachi syllabus and today we are going to discuss that in the beginning let's pray our lord so um with that prayer let's move on to the next uh I am Dr. Dr. Ma Bhagwat has uh uh already given the introduction I run my clinic in Bangalore and also I teach Kayacheta I'm a professor in Kayachita.
So um with that background after coming to know about the new pattern of uh syllabus we were really excited to see those syllabus what kind of syllabus it is how it is framed and all and uh we also got orientation program about the syllabus how we have to move further proceed with the uh you know teaching methodologies uh NHT and LHP classes and all we were also having orientation classes regarding them and uh during In that time we had huge questions also.
And later on once the teachings began uh you know the things started getting much much much more uh complicated as well as uh you know vast as we thought. uh we we had to literally um you know work too much for uh creating those documents as well as bringing awareness in the children also.
So that that was a challenge in the initial days and later on of course as the time passes and as we get to know about the pattern and uh get accustomed to it we will get used to that. So that's how we have come to this particular level.
Now then coming to kayachitsa as such why kayachikitsa is given three papers all other subjects have been given two papers why this is given three papers have you ever thought about that uh you know it's not that being a kayachita person and practicing kayachitsa from past 28 years I praise more about kaya it's not so just like that um three papers And total of 500 marks in marks have been attributed to kayachis are not just like that because it is the system kaya the entire kaya which covers the maximum number of diseases maximum number of throthesis and also it comprises of ina syllabus it includes manasuroga also ras waji karna all these um different fraternies of patterny of Ayurve weather as well. So if we take example of uh uh our OPDS more than 60 to 70% of the cases we attend in in our general OPDS are definitely pertaining to kayachitsa it is an agni chikitsa right so agny being the root cause for many of the disorders so also the kayachikitsa diseases which pertain to the entire body and uh that's how It covers the maximum number of disorders we treat in our OPDS and because it covers maximum stasis and maximum visceral organs.
So developing clinical efficiency, clinical skill and uh examination techniques and then diagnostic techniques and preparing the treatment protocol and all definitely they need more and more skills and more knowledge also. You need to memorize many of the things several things to make your kayachita subject perfect or to become a kayachita physician. So that's how it it challenges you. So wide range of disase distribution and covering entire body focusing on agreeing and the prime focus of the treatment and um uh it is always a practiceoriented learning what you do.
Uh so all these things make Kaiakisa more and more important to understand not just from the point of examination for the from the point of uh um practice also from the point of understanding ourselves also what are our abilities what are our strengths limitations and when to refer when not to refer all these things will come under this particular branch so it it'll uh always um uh welcoming one or uh encouraged to learn more about these principles not just on the focus by the focus of examination with the focus focus of uh your clinical practice also in future. So after uh you know the first aim of a teacher is of course to make the student to pass with good marks.
I know cherish in life and later on what do you get patience by just putting your marks on on the wall hanging your certificate? No. your skills, your communication, your uh abilities, what you have stored in your uh brain about the clinical aspects that makes you more perfect. So after studying about kayachitsa and passing the examination you know that gives eligibility definitely you have to score more you have to score good so that makes you eligible that makes you skillful to understand the case analyze diagnose prescribe and treat prepare a proper treatment protocol independently you You cannot telephone your friend or a teacher when the patient is in front of you. Right? So immediately after completing this course, you should be confident enough to write the prescription on your own after an independent analysis of the case. So this this is this should be the aim of every student who learns each and every branch of Ayurveda. No doubt particularly and more focusedly kaya.
So what does your papers have? Paper one um theory 100 marks, paper two theory 100 marks and three 100 marks. So total of 300 uh theory marks and all the three papers together make uh it is um 100 practicals, writing short case, long case everything. Then viva for about 70 marks and internal assessment for about 30 marks. So total of 200 marks uh it'll be practical. So kayacha comprises total of 500 marks.
Kai is a paper one and two have been already done by others. So already um which are already done. Let me not take up again and again. So in kayakitsa paper 3 we have nine chapters.
dushi of manoma then um vadi andrai you know endocrinal disorders vadikara then indria praoshaikara these are the nine chapters and marks are also So distributed with the particular importance of each and every chapter attributed with 16 marks appears for all kinds of questions your MCQs, SAQ and LQ. What are these you are already aware about but let me also tell about in future in the next slides. Then manaha for 10 marks all the three. Thenra 10 marks all the three kinds of question will be there. Then vadik shamatri vikara there will there will be um uh mcq and sq but no lq because it is only for eight marks. So also with the shukraa and roas. So only MCQs and SAQs are possibles. Then vajarna all the three rasay all the three then again jaraja and indria prajikara are only with the MCQ and sqs no lq in this.
Then uh how these question papers are prepared. There is a blueprint for uh uh questions. um you must have given your preparatory examination already and it is going to be for 100 marks. So there will be multiplechoice question of um each one mark. So total of 20 questions carrying 20 marks. So one question one mark like that. Then uh uh eight saq short answer questions. So each question will be carrying five marks. So 8 into 5 the it will be for the entire question for SAQ is going to be for 40 marks.
Then LQ each one will be for 10 marks 10 into 4 marks. So 20 40 total comprises of um 100 marks.
There is no choice in them. You know in olden days um when uh paragraph kind of questions were even the questions used to be asked for 15 marks also. So there used to be some uh seven questions or eight questions or 10 questions out of them out if there are 10 questions out of them write any eight like that or uh out of seven write any five like that. So there used to be one or two choices in the questions but not so here in your question paper. There are no choices. That means to say if you want to score good you have to go through the entire syllabus without any choices.
So all nine chapters in Kaya 3 are to be studied no doubt at all and among them you have options again must know desirable to know and nice to know options so depending upon that you can prepare definitely and I I'll give some guidelines about that also so particularly the questions which are uh um going to be framed will be drawn from this the table which is displayed over here on the basis of distribution of this mark. Okay, there won't be a question LAQ type from the chapter which is carrying only eight marks there.
There won't be. So in your syllabus there are only five chapters anavaha manaha andrai then vaji karna and sign only these five chapters are going to be asked with LAQ long answer questions.
So um you will be having four right four lqs. So among these five four will be from each one. Correct? And then SAQ there will be eight questions. So from anywhere they may appear there is a possibility. And there is one uh uh clause also here. I'll explain that later. And uh from these four chapters which are carrying only eight marks there is only possibility of SAQ and uh MCQ which uh we have already known. Uh and then questions shall be drawn from this table which provides the topic name, type of questions, what kind of question it is asked. The marks assigned in the table for each topic group of topics shall be considered as the maximum alloyable mark. Maximum allowable from this chapter 16 marks allocate.
So we cannot ask questions beyond 16 marks at all. It should restrict up to 16 marks. So the entire question paper if you search for the Ana's questions should not cross 16 marks at all. This is how it is it is distributed. Okay. And then there should not be questions in in see if vadik shamata is of eight marks the question cannot be asked beyond uh eight marks. Antasrai 10 marks like you have already asked one important main question NA lq in 10 marks you cannot ask any more question here.
So this is what but where it will appear you will not be knowing right. So it is mandatory to get prepared for everything.
So if if carrying 20 marks there are scope for all kinds of multiple questions h that there could be definitely one LQ will be there. Okay, there is only one must know topic. So, LQ will be definitely from that well be well prepared so that you can score all those 10 marks. Right? So, and other topics are desirable to know. So, one or two questions may be asked. So, desirable to know how many questions can be asked that we will know. So this way if you go on preparing you know you will not be leaving any of the topics untouched and also your preparation will definitely fetch you good number of marks.
Okay. Ensure that the total marks allocated per topic or group of topic do not exceed the limit specified. This is uh a mandate given to the examiners who are setting the question papers.
So if this mandate is given to the question paper setters definitely they will look into this and each question is logic based definitely. So you if you prepare in the way of the previous table like this definitely it's going to be useful for you. Okay. So next uh MCQs. What are these MCQs?
Multiplechoice questions. Multiple means there will be four choices of answers given and you have to select the best among them or the correct one among them.
How these questions will be drawn?
Majority of these MCQs are drawn from must to know part. So it is essential it is understandable that must to know will have LQ, SAQ and MCQ all. So it is it is best to you know get thorough with the must to know part.
Okay. And questions from desirable to know should not exceed three.
So there will be questions from the desirable to know aspect only three sorry then nice to know part only two questions it should not exist that doesn't mean that there should be question from nice to know it doesn't mean like that it means to say that if you want to ask question from nice to know part you can ask in the entire paper of uh you know uh under MCQs maximum two questions not more than that if you want to ask also okay in the desirable to know also it is desirable to ask as well. So it is not mandatory that desirable questions uh desirable to know questions should be three. It is not mandatory. They can ask three questions not more than that.
All the questions all 20 MCQs may be from must to know part only that is also possible.
So desirable to know and nice to know are not mandatory to be asked. They are desired to be asked and nice to be asked again and they should not exceed three and two questions.
It is not a must part again but if at all asked we should be knowing otherwise we'll lose five marks.
That is why go through desirable part and nice to know part also and know the subject but must to know should be thoroughly thoroughly prepared without any doubts kept. Okay. Then second uh u point SAQ majority questions again for SAQ also will be drawn from must to know part.
Okay. Then under desirable to know one question may be asked.
It should not exceed one question. Means if you still want to ask like the case of rasayana I told you there are many desirable to know.
Okay. And there is one uh goa chapter all questions are all topics are desirable to know only there is no must to know.
So what you have to do is if at all these desirable to know question is also asked then we cannot question either or if it is not asked also we cannot question either.
Okay. Examiner have the freedom here. He he will have the freedom over here about whether to ask this desirable to know question under the SAQ or not.
It is not compulsory question.
Then what about Guhirogas?
Okay. Guhiroas they may ask two questions of MCQ under Guhirogas simple Alva or one question of SAQ and one question of MCQ that is also possible one question of uh um uh MCQ okay and then uh uh desirable to know part of rasayana under SAQ one more because it is the entire chapter is for 20 marks. So there is a possibility of these kind of choices.
Okay. So Guhirroa eight marks all the topics are desirable.
Ras 20 marks only one topic is must to know others are desirable to know nice too.
So this particular understanding should be paka.
So one preparation of guhiroas one sec is ready almost ready at least two desirable to know uh MCQs are ready.
Okay and from rasai definitely there will be one question of must to know. So prepare that part very well. You will score 10 marks.
So this this is the hint which I I wanted to give uh this time no question shall be drawn from nice to know part of the syllabus under SAQ.
So MCQ only there were only two questions possible not must possible but under SAQ nice to know cannot be asked at all. SAQs shall assess understanding application and analysis rather than simple recall. They may ask about uh concept analysis of the concept or how does the uh some praatana take place in this kind of treatment. How would you frame the treatment protocol if a patient of uh udar rashula comes?
Okay. If a patient of uh um paramashula comes, amla pitha comes. So or they may give a case this is the case history and the diagnosis is amlapita. How do you plan the treatment? They may ask because it is must know right. So this way your understanding your logical thinking your way of analysis about that particular topic.
Okay. And uh uh you know maka utara the shloka it's meaning it's not simply like that definitely they are required to the point answers.
to the point answers.
It is about maximum 3 to five paragraphs.
If you think a paragraph is containing about five to eight lines, you can write about 3 to five paragraphs, not more than that. So do not make your answers too lengthy wasting a lot of time in that. Frame your answer in a very proper way.
What points you have to um write you have to think about that and make it precise to the point answer as well as write what you have understood there.
That is more important. And regarding LQS, all LQ's must be d drawn from the must to know part only.
There is no question drawn from desirable to know or nice to know part at all. So LQ's are very important topics to uh analyze, understand, remember throughout. So number of LQ should not exceed one per topic.
Okay? Unless maximum marks exceed 20 for the topic.
So maximum one question can be asked from each chapter not more than that.
So even rasa which is having 20 marks only one question can be asked under LAQ not more than that. Okay.
Then how the answer should be?
This is explanatory kind of answer right. So your answer uh you know whenever you are asked about um LQ's usually they will ask the question they frame the question like explain so and so write in detail about so and so discuss okay these words give a write up or how do you analyze write about your understanding ing.
Okay, these kind of analytical questions will be asked for LQS.
Again I I would like to reiterate that the questions will not be asked like write the nidana srapi chikisa sutra then pyapatya as explained in charaka samita or sushuta samita such direct questions may not be asked at all because these are analytical questions.
So if they give one sutra for example okay for uh in case or they may ask about one they will give you one particular one line they will give they may ask you about write the benefits of ras How these rasina types under naikica ras are going to be useful with an example of amalaki rasayana or with an example of vhamana.
This will be the question.
So how would you understand?
China all these are going to be you know specifically written as points here. What you have to do is write a small introduction about you know introduction should not be pages together. It should be just two to three lines or maximum five lines just two or three sentences not more than that. Okay. and later on go to the body of the answer wherein you are actually putting the uh points you would like to write as answer in the introduction you can say rasana what is rasana where where it is explained or how many benefits have been drawn it is a branch of anything you can write which is relevant to that particular question asked Okay. Then in the body if at all you are asked about write the treatment protocol of paridama right or write the analysis of hypothyroidism according to concept of Ayurveda or how do you treat a case of hypothyroidism in Ayurveda? If this is a question, you are going to analyze the concept of hypothyroidism and then you're going to write your chikita protocol and you're going to substantiate why this kind of chikitsa has been given.
Why? It is not the prescription of one or two medicines. You are writing the concept over there.
Why you have selected these medicines?
you are going to write what is the logic behind this selection of uh medicines or framing this particular treatment protocol. I would like to carry out woman. I would like to carry out vina. I would like to give this kind of lifestyle suggestions. If you have written, you have to write the logic behind it.
You have to explain it.
And then later on you can add one more particular uh um paragraph or heading.
What are the current trends or what are the research research updates if at all you know if at all one paper research paper you have studied about say for example hypothyroidism again okay you can quote that example so and so study has taken place this treatment protocol has been adopted and this is the result you can write but that is not mandatory this part is not mandatory it if it It is only relevant. If you are asked about current scenario, if you are asked about the research outcome or if you are asked about you know how the world is responding, what you what is your analysis, how this is relevant in current era. Such questions definitely will be uh uh you know the weightage will be added to your answer if you give research work backup.
So this is how you can frame the question uh uh answer and later on you conclude. If you are asked about your analysis, if you are asked about the logic behind, if you are asked about your opinion, your complete understanding about then you are expected to write the conclusion also. If you are asked about what charaka has asked or what what achar susha has told about you need not give conclusion. Who are you to give conclusion? If you you are asked about to give the details of your analysis, understanding, opinion etc etc then you write the conclusion in a very precise manner just one or two lines very precise manner because uh you know conclusion will give yes this is my understanding and I am submitting it you are concluding in that Second point if it it is a classical based answer then you are nobody to conclude you are not beyond we are not beyond the acharas so conclusion is not required there it is not a must I mean to say if you are asked to analyze conclusion is your desirable part okay right follow the guidelines in the user manual three for the framing of this is what is the mandate given for yes then distribution of practical marks. Hope you are understanding what I said about uh about how to write the answers in LQ, MCQ and SAQ.
And uh uh to make it more uh uh I think I have the slides later on on this uh uh let me uh give one more hint to you before uh uh we'll go into the next topic. See as soon as you are given the paper you you are in final year. I need not be saying this but let me uh as I have observed over the years let me also again reiterate that be 10 minutes earlier to the examination that is mandatory you know that keeps you calm that's one thing and you don't forget what you have read read about if you hurry you know what happened in uh uh you know late comeras you have seen in the social media Right? You know that will make you forget whatever you have read also. So be much advanced to the time not hours before few minutes before.
Okay? That will make you keep your cool.
That's one thing. Second thing while you're leaving home make sure be sure that you have a proper dress code and carry your practical or hall ticket. Sorry. And if at all identity card required if it is asked by the center okay that's another thing make sure because if you forget them also that will make you tensed again answers will be forgotten sometimes in that tensed mood you know you will uh lose the temper of writing the examination.
Now while writing the examination you have to keep your cool you need not keep cutting jokes and all you can keep quiet.
So being on time and making sure that you have carried everything which is required for the examination that will keep your mind balanced which is most required when you are entering the examination hall okay I see these disturbances in the final year students also that's why I am repeating this and once you are uh given the question paper you know um don't rush to write the answers go through the question paper you can attempt the MCQs first no problem because that will be over in 20 minutes hardly 20 minutes okay then whichever the question pattern you because both of them carry 4040 marks whichever the pattern pattern you select to you go on writing. Divide the time accordingly.
Divide the time how much time you can spare for these eight questions and each question these many number of minutes.
You frame that have a calculation in your mind in your mind not on question paper please. Your university answer booklets may be having the question numbers printed also. Some universities do have that, some universities do not have. So be very sure that you are answering to that particular the very question which is printed or which you have written over there.
Be very sure about it.
a a wrong question number and right answer. We can't we can't give marks.
Okay. As an examiner, as an evaluator, question number eight, for example, question number eight is there. You have written the answer for question number 10.
This is not my college year.
I don't know which paper it is who which student it is from. I I'll not be knowing.
Question number eight.
to be very sure. Another point to make third point for SAQ and LQ what answers what points you're going to write down. Just frame your answer and then start.
Okay. And MCQs do not go on striking off the answer, overwriting it, erase nick.
You have to, you know, be very sure about it.
You have to select appropriately and then mark. And your practical marks uh long cases 15 marks and 15 marks for case presentation 15 marks for bedside va.
Okay. So 45 marks total case.
And for short cases, 10 marks for case writing, five marks for case presentation and 10 marks for bedside viva again. So if you do very good at the bedside examination, you will be scoring 70 marks already.
Spotters will be uh kept any of these five the list is given already. Among these any five will be kept and each one will be carrying two marks. So total of 20 marks for the spotters.
Then case records 20 marks you have you know your institution definitely would have guided you regarding that five hours paper 120 220 and 320 for all the including all uh uh nine chapters. Okay.
And also so about the communication skills when you are asked about the question what was your approach?
How did you start the answer? Did you use the words correctly or you were struggling to use the words question answer or you were not looking at the examiner or that will definitely be counted to a lot marks. If you dress up very shabily also even that matters law you are doctors you are not footpath vendors you're doctors so be dressed as per the dress code given to uh you in your institute for practicals wearing Bronze and carrying practical required equipments are required and then you know good communication cordial respectful communication with the examiner is mandatory and internal assessment marks 30. So total of 200 marks sorry.
Now coming to the syllabus tickets of anamasoto all these um you have already come across agnandanda aruchi aroaka all these disorders there there are several must to know points over here there are several must to know points okay see this is a list I have direct directly copied from your syllabus.
This is the guideline given in the syllabus. So, Gulma must to know, agnand must to know.
Then uh then the Ashadi yoga in Gulma must know.
Then sama must know later on. uh including ash yoga andula must know then um of chardi srai vigatana and patyapatya till chardi so entire chi chapter is must to know grahani dsha is must to know then uh um different yogas does as explained in grai including their patas must to know then the likeika must to know adana anah must know. See there are so many topics under this particular heading. Malignancy desirable to know.
Then uh shula.
Okay. Must to know.
Diverticulitis. Gastrointitis. Again this point desirable to know. Next is also desirable to know.
IBS desirable to know. Then G acceptive disorders desirable to know anup various yogas mentioned in anawastoin picaras must know so so many yogas you have to see uh here I would like to add one more thing if you are asked about the yoga okay you you start writing about directly You go this is indicated in so and so. No, not like that. Like for example, if you are asked about Simonadu, okay, you write the context where it is the first reference context where it is explained in which context is explained.
What are the content of that particular yoga? Okay. Then comes the indications.
Okay. Then palashri any specific very peculiar method of preparation explained under that right any specific contraindications mentioned about particular yoga any specific anupanu mentioned about that particular yoga. These things you have to be very well aware about.
Uh another example uh uh I would like to give is um um balataka yoga. Balataka.
For example, if you are writing about what kind of aar you are taking forana, what kind of aar specifically mentioned about?
Okay. So specific if you're writing about major you cannot go on writing about Madurank like that. No, you you will write that way you have to be specifically explaining Next coming to manusak vikaras the second chapter in kaikatri the disorders mentioned and one uh lq is possible sq is possible and mcqs are possible. So these 10 marks is attributed again continued with manasuroggas.
Going through the syllabus is mandatory to understand must to know, desirable to know and nice to know divisions.
Okay. Then u um antasravigantis all the three types of questions are possible.
So particularly thyroid, hypo, hyper, parathyroid then pituitary, adrenal glands these questions are uh um asked.
Uh there is no mention of in your syllabus there is no mention of gonads as of uh kaikitatri syllabus is concerned. There is no mention of oxytocin or uh other though pituitary is mentioned.
There is hypopituitarism, dwarfism. Then hyperputurism or gigantism, macromegali these kind of disorders not about the posterior hypopasis of pituitary uh oxytocin or other um are not explained over here.
This will be considered or this may be considered as the out of the perview of kayaksa. So that comes under another branch you know very well which is the branch. Okay. So so pertaining to kayachitsa are particularly explained over here.
Vadikamat vikara uh there are no lqs asked and there there are these are the um uh areas where the questions will be asked.
How ama is also an uh asked or included under this because this is a very common disorders but it is under must to know part. So we can definitely think about but only thing is LAQ will not be there. It is SAQ, SAQ and MCQ then and SURA Vikaras again LQ is not there but definitely SAQ will be there. Guhoggas again piranga u kind of disorders like you won't be there okay uh I mentioned about this particular uh uh chapter okay so almost all the topic if you uh read about here desirable to know are there there is No MK there is only DK.
Okay.
Last one point is given as MK.
Demonstrate awareness about sexually transmitted disorders among the teenagers, young adults. This is a practical point. This is an LHP. So you need not worry in the theory at all. So all the theory points are desirable to know. Again here four yogas have been given which may be asked in detail about okay one yoga for example may be asked for even five marks okay all three kinds of uh questions may be asked you have to go through mkd and uh uh nk over here Okay, only one point is MK.
I mentioned that. Okay, many of them are NK DK NKDK NKDK like that only elaborate the application and benefits of naikar with examples. This is only the MK part.
Okay. But under that right under that with examples consequence examples.
So we need to know application and benefits of naimitarena.
Apart from that a proper example you have to learn right.
So that will become a very elaborate uh question itself.
though here uh you know these are in under nice to know because here this this area is a little bit tricky with examples to this these two points you have to collaborate in between and definitely learn about definitely learn about definitely learn about anything can be asked and examiner's favorites also do and don't this will be usually a question so if you learn these things you This one question will be answered very perfectly.
Okay. For that you may have to work a little in the background of these. Okay.
Right.
Next is uh Jaraj Vikaras. Again there is no LQ only for uh SAQ but any of these may be including Alzheimer's and dementia. They may be asked right where most common uh questions of uh MK or LQ are hypo or hyperyroidism adrenal glandaras pushing syndrome or any of these major that that's that's how we just discussed about with modern counterparts ayurveda analysis relevance and application of treatment protocol relevant ashoda yoga in respective context to next diagnosed case some joke one case of IBS you got one case of Cronhn's disease you got now you know right now you know very well that how the treatment protocol has to be planned what should be your analysis and then what are all the choices of medicines you have and what kind of anupana or what what do and do patya you are going to suggest suggest that you know very well. So this syllabus has been framed very much practical oriented though it found it was found difficult in the initial days now we have started appreciating it in a better way in in a very practical way you know it is it gives that insight of practical approach to uh towards the patient.
Okay. Right.
How questions may be framed? Some some examples like no I'm not revealing any of the questions. I'm I'm not the examination paper setter also for this year. Don't worry. But how the out of these many years how the questions may be asked. Explain the chikita sutra of paramashola and analyze the srai vigana by administering or any of these kind of uh uh yoga whichever is there in your syllabus.
Write in detail about sra of mada shrati vigana of unmada. Okay.
And how majoras are going to be useful.
This is analytical type right. Then explain chikets of grahani yoga and discuss the importance of takra praoga in grahani or write about takarishta.
Explain hypothyroidism and its treatment concept in ayurveda.
Right? What is vajarnita yoga and about siddha?
So siddhakar is one example I have chosen. Fine whichever is there in your syllabus only stick on to that.
These are many of the yogas which may be you know the commonest in each and every um topic we have come across most commonly we come across. So I just made a list of them.
Learn about these yoga. The context where it is explained, ingredients, peculiar method of preparation, indications, any contra indication specifically mentioned, anupana dosage specifically mentioned.
I'm so sorry I'm coughing.
Huh? NCQ's guidelines.
Choose single correct answer.
Logical and relevant application.
If you're using any single word uh you know fill in the blank kind tricky words may be avoided or any ambiguous.
This is actually an instruction given to the examiner.
There should be clarity in your answer.
One word answer.
No. No choice. Only one correct answer.
Maybe anywhere from the syllabus because there are three desirable to know choices also. two nice to know sources also and 15 are from definitely from must to know. All the 20 may be from must to know. No doubt there is a possibility if the examiner does not want to ask anything from nice to know part at all. He will go definitely to the must to know part only.
SAQ guidelines two to five paragraphs maximum relevant to the question asked to the point and pointwise answers impress much avoid unnecessarily details answer that are precise clear reference based with correct meanings will fetch better marks I like guidelines 3 to Seven paragraphs may be written paragraph 7 to eight lines one paragraph. Okay.
Construct the answers with following components. Introduction, definition, context, general understanding, body of the answer, particular point to be elaborated with actual references, meaning and clinical application if needed. analysis or application of the concept like relevance in the current scenario, research work, particular discussion done in the classics, conclusion only if necessary relevant to the topic as okay. Avoid framing your own textual references or shlokas.
understand.
We need not frame our own in the answer booklets, our own samitas, mammata samita, harshit samita like that the examiner is experienced in the subject. He knows much better than you in the subject. The syllabus also he has taught you the syllabus for the entire year. You cannot fool the examiner by quoting wrong, irrelevant or unrealistic data and all. They are much smarter than you.
So these are the uh general guidelines I already have mentioned about it. Okay.
So this is one word I would like to hard work is important to be confident.
Smart work is required to make it fruitful. So be confident and conquer.
So in your examination to be confident you have to work hard and that hard work should bring you something. It should fetch you something. So be smart about that.
Recall your hard work and put all those efforts in your answer paper during your examination and conquer it.
So all the best do well.
So in your examination um your performance be as you wish to.
Okay. As it happens now you as you wish to how much marks you want to acquire that much your hard effort should be. So with that words I say thank you.
If there are any questions you are welcome you can ask.
Thank you ma'am. If you have any doubt from YouTube and zoom you can ask.
Ma'am question from YouTube.
>> Yeah ma'am they will ask practical related question in main exam.
>> Sorry >> practical uh practical related questions in main exams.
In theory they won't ask you practical.
See they may they may give a a case example.
Okay. So they will ask you to diagnose and you write a treatment protocol and write about the sropi vig in detail they may ask.
So there you have to apply your analysis right.
There is a possibility. It is only a possibility not mandatory. It depends on the examiner.
Okay ma'am another one ma'am in ray chapter is charaka point view is enough or any achara point of view is should be written or they're asking ma'am um for it is only about um nitas must know part is there that's one thing so if you uh go through all samas it is always valent Like for example um in Sushuta Samita he clearly mentions about right this point is so important for the analysis of applicability of rasina.
So if you are based your your answer is based on uh such classical references then definitely that will make the answer much more impressive.
So if you quote uh this particular reference and say achar susha has indicated rasay for puri and madya people the people who are in the younger age group and the middle age group so that you can debate over there and if if you quote this kind of example and frame your answer the examiner will definitely come to know that you have studied.
You have studied well. So it is always better to have classical base for clear answer. What the kind of answers or whatever the kind of question may be it is always better to have classical base for the answer. Usually we are not supposed to put our own framing, our own opinion over there.
the classical reference, your opinion is based on the clinical outcome, right? So that will make the answer more impressive.
So that is why always if you have the classical references strong then your answers are going to be much and much refined and polished.
So You are expected to read is mandatory to be studied. No doubt at all.
It is not that I am a kayak person that's why I keep going through much often than any any other samitas.
Definitely that doesn't mean that we are not supposed to learn about uh sushuta samita at all. We have to there are multiple good points which are very much highly practically oriented in sushutas samita also pertaining to kaya.
The way sushutas samita explains about the srati of uh um pakshagata has not been explained anywhere else.
So this we have have to understand this particular uh you know understanding or uh um samita based learning will make us more and more confident about the subject.
So you prepare your own notes or you prepare you go through such notes which have relevant all classical references you go through that kind of book.
If you are reading about compendium or kai tickets of any author okay you study from those kind of books which are having classical references from all the samitas.
Okay hope I have answered uh you your question is answered.
>> Yes ma'am. Thank you ma'am. Another one question is there like if NLH topic is as can be asked in exam because it's are most of them are in MK nice to know right >> NK or >> MK MK MK must to know >> must to know huh >> see when it is MK it is understood that you must know >> ma'am it it's from non NLHP ma'am It's there as >> but to know.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> Huh? You must be knowing it. And if the examiner ask the question, you cannot counter him why this question is asked because it is under to know. You should be knowing.
Amen. If you have any doubts still from YouTube in Zoom, you can ask.
Hope there is no any doubt.
Thank you so much ma'am. Basad Dashna.
Basad Dash over to you.
