A 57-year-old man has been arrested for aggravated robbery in downtown El Paso.
As KTSM reported uh back on May 6th, officers responded to a business on Stanton Street to a robbery. El Paso police say Torres allegedly entered the business, assaulted the owner, and demanded money.
Police say the owner escaped and locked the suspect inside the business. Now, when officers arrived, they thought the suspect was still inside, but he allegedly ran away before police arrived. Police say Torres stole cash and the owner's wallet. He was arrested yesterday and booked into the El Paso County Jail.
