Narcissism and Cluster B personality disorders stem from disrupted early attachment and lack of maternal attunement during infancy, which causes underdevelopment of the prefrontal cortex and impaired empathy; however, not all children with inadequate maternal bonding develop these disorders, as alternative attachment relationships can compensate for the lack of mother-baby bonding.

What Causes Narcissism?Added:
When I asked what narcissism is, I was told and shown that it's actually not just a mental health issue. It's a physical brain disorder and that these types of people have an underdeveloped frontal lobe. Their prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that controls executive functions and empathy, didn't develop due to a lack of maternal bonding and attunement. In fact, all personality disorders, including subclinical ones, or even if someone's just high in certain traits, it all links back to the relationship with mom.
Mom is the key. So, as a baby and toddler, there was a disconnect between mother and baby, either through neglect, abuse, or just absence. For example, if mom had to work and couldn't be there, then she's tired when she gets home and has no energy for the baby. That's enough to create a lack of attunement.
It almost looked like because of this there was brain damage in a way because there's no easy way to heal this. Their brains didn't develop fully in a healthy way due to the lack of attunement. And that's why these cluster B and dark triad personality types are hard to treat. They have really different brain structures.
These types of people also have serious attachment issues. So the underlying core or root cause is their attachment or lack of to their mother. The mother baby relationship is the lynch pin and the reason these types of disorders develop. Now not all these disorders are linked to big tea trauma per se to develop one of these disorders. A mother doesn't necessarily need to be abusive like hitting, yelling, etc. although that can also cause it. But she might just not be able to form a healthy attachment or attune to her baby due to her own issues. It's little tea trauma stuff and it's still as devastating because remember trauma isn't the experience. It's your internalized interpretation of it. And you're internalizing that even as a little baby day one. You're internalizing everything that's going on around you. Your brain is developing in accordance to your environment and your relationship to your primary caregivers.
Now, not everyone whose mother didn't attune to them will develop personality disorders. That is not what I saw. If a baby has other people that they can attune to and connect with, this can replace that lack of mother baby bonding. This isn't a mother didn't attune therefore cluster B dark triad.
No, it's not a if then 100% guarantee.
People adapt in all kinds of ways. But when I ask about the root cause of personality disorders and dark triad, the mother baby relationship is
