Hispanics Unite Against Blacks...But Forgot To DO THIS!

[00:00:00]At the end of the day, when something happens, we have each other here in the United States. Just like black Americans stick together, just like white Americans stick together, we have to learn to stick together.

[00:00:11]>> Within the last few days, we all know what happened with Houston Police Department officer Ashley Gonzalez. She would say something that would really take black people by storm. The amount of times that I will always and forever say that I hate Oh my god. I I hate like I hate y'all. Like you like I don't We were slaves. I don't give a like for a reason. You guys were you guys don't know anything better than a like Oh my god. I was literally eating with my friend. He had his Oh my god. Like I don't know.

[00:00:52]I had my wallet next to me like my whole purse and like that little l little decided not to oh my god my he like whooped the ass but like whatever right some other but no hore or nothing y'all don't know how good it felt to say like out loud like godamn oh my god I felt like I was back in the Marine Corps. Like I I like I kid you not, I don't know over me. I grabbed that neck and I was like, "Come here, you and oh my god." Like I felt like the world just stopped. Like it was just peace. Like like I don't know. And then he was just like like even I in my head I was like damn sust like imagine how many downtown chiefs were there. They could have beat in my ass. And then he LIKE STOPS LIKE YEAH.

[00:01:50]JUST call me a like you're like, "Oh my god, like you're called you like."

[00:01:59]>> Of course, it was offensive. Black people responded in a furious uproar.

[00:02:05]She was fired. Case closed. Right now, before I kind of go in, I want to be very fair. A lot of times they look at the Latino community as being just one-sided. They all feel a certain type of way in a unilateral way of thinking that Latinos could be all biased or racist towards black people. And to be honest, that is far from the actual truth. You had Latinos going pretty hard on Ashley Gonzalez. Ashley Gonzalez reminds us of the antilackness, colorism, and racism towards black people that exist in our communities.

[00:02:49]Not only is this about condemning the actions of Ashley Gonzalez and all of her hateful, racist comments, it is about holding our friends, our family members, and other people in THE COMMUNITY.

[00:03:05]AND to be honest, I saw many, many videos like this. This was not the only one. And I've seen Latinos do this before. Latinos in the United States have not earned the support of black people for us to be demanding, oh yeah, why aren't they coming out to protest with us? Why aren't they engaging in activism with us? Because we haven't earned it at all in the slightest. Or did you guys forget that 46% of all eligible Latino voters voted for Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election? Or how about the fact that racism, antilackness, colorism, all of these things are still very much pervasive in our communities. This is the blatant call out of Latinos uh to their own community saying, "Listen, you don't deserve black support because our community has anti-lack racism." And I thought that was remarkable. But to be honest, not everybody felt the same way that they did. You had certain Latinos who were defending the racism. Ashley Gonzalez, >> they're just looking for one excuse, just one excuse. If you live around them, they treat us horribly, but then when we say something, they are like the victim. And >> so this young lady who came from Mexico, she's had some problems with the black community in the past. She said, "Listen, they're just using that as an excuse to really say how they feel about the Hispanic community." And to be honest, a lot of groups use this sort of thinking. Like, for example, what's going on in South Africa. It's not uncommon when you hear uh some of the African migrants who may be out there uh committing crimes or being there illegal. And if South Africans are calling this out, well, you know what?

[00:04:52]They just had a problem with us. the whole entire time. Like not all of us do that. You, you know, just trying to find a way to defend their position. And honestly, I've heard the Somali do that.

[00:05:04]And let me just say this, when you have this position like this young lady, it doesn't make people respect your community. It doesn't make people respect your community more. It makes people question your community even less. Because clearly there is an issue.

[00:05:22]There was an issue. The young lady should have never used that sort of language to describe black people. And if black people start talking about their issues with Latinos, and if you come out and try to say, "Well, they've always felt that way." What you are basically doing is overlooking the fact of what happened with the person that got fired. They got themselves fired for a reason. Uh because they were being racist and you want to justify it. But again, this gets worse.

[00:05:53]>> We have to stop the divisions and within each other. Oh, because you're from this country, I'm from this country. Due to our color of skin, our race, our background, or ethnicity, we are all Hispanics at the end of the day.

[00:06:06]Because the minute you open your mouth, regardless if it's white people, as in white Americans or black Americans, the minute you open your mouth and they hear your accent and they can tell, "Oh, this is not one of us." we're going to get pushed away because it's not only white people pushing us away. And this is good for your especially you the ones that like to be lamb, you know, lambiendo like we say in the Caribbean, lambiendo um the white or the black people, we have each other. And this is in no way, shape, or form trying to push division.

[00:06:36]This is not what I'm saying because I know there's going to be somebody that's going to try to twist it. It's me saying at the end of the day, regardless if you're Mexican, if you're Dominican, if you're Bolivian, if you're Argentinian, if you are a Cuban, Colombian, we are all Hispanics. We have each other.

[00:06:51]>> Now, this young lady takes the cake. So, number one, she talks about we understand what happened with Ashley Gonzalez. And the first thing that I want to say is, guys, all of us as Latinos, we need to come together. boy, y'all sit your stupid ass down. Who the you think you is?

[00:07:11]>> And I know it sounds absurd to think like that, but it is actually more common than you realize. You see, a lot of a lot of foreign groups do this.

[00:07:23]Instead of dealing with what somebody did in their community that was wrong, what they'll try to do is double down and try to stick together and to weather the storm against people who actually have a qual about the individual instead of holding her people accountable in her community for the issue that Ashley called. We all got to come together. And the problem with this is when you try to come together based on silly [ __ ] it just doesn't work. Let me give you an example of what I mean. If the Colombians and the Puerto Ricans and the Mexicans and the El Salvadorans were not coming together based on shared interest, monetary interest, respect in between the cultures, okay, which I'm pretty sure that you have tribalism in Hispanic communities. You have issues.

[00:08:13]And obviously what she's saying here must mean that there are some issues between these people in the Spanish diaspora, right? then how are your people going to come together because the blacks are calling out Hispanics for the racism? What what's really happening here is that these Hispanics have probably been talking trash about each other. And so now that the she might be Mexican, I'm not sure, but she might be Dominican. But now since they're coming after the Hispanics, well, listen, we got to sit together. Well, the problem with that is this togetherness quote unquote is short-lived. Let me explain another thing. One of the things that I learned in the black manosphere community when I was coming up is that when we first started at that time the black manosphere, it was just this whole bribe with the feminist community. It was the gripe that black men were not getting respected and we wanted to force black women into a discussion about uh black males masculinity and parity in relationship equality and stop putting the brothers down. Outside of that, a lot of us had nothing in common. We had no real commitment to each other. We did not want to improve the lives of each other. We may have said that some of us, but obviously that wasn't what it was uh ultimately about when I can look at it in hindsight, even if some of us had good intentions. And so you cannot unite people together based on the fact that they're upset with something or that they feel slighted about something or they feel disrespected because once you get past the disrespect, those people will then start to turn on each other.

[00:09:56]And it doesn't really matter at that point. You can only bring people together if there's going to be a benefit to all sides, which Ashley Gonzalez calling somebody the n-word is not going to benefit the community.

[00:10:08]Here's the part that I don't like. Once these Hispanics say something like this, and again, this is not to say all of them say this. When they need something, they will be the first person to come to the black community and then ask for help.

[00:10:24]Remember that some of these Hispanics were being disrespectful, not all of them. Some of them were being racist, not all of them. And then once it came time for people to start getting, you know, putting immigration and all of that, then what did we hear?

[00:10:40]>> Now I can empathize and sympathize with the black community. I've never been able to do that before because I would hear them say things like, "Oh, you know, we walk down the street and we get profiled and, you know, cops will just suddenly stop and frisk or whatever just because of the color of their skin." And I was and I always thought like, uhh, you know, it's a little bit of a stretch. It feels like a little bit of a stretch. that person must be doing something right. And obviously I've never experienced that before. I've never felt that way before and stuff.

[00:11:08]And so I always thought like ignorantly by the way on my part thinking like you know I think you guys are cuz I'm brown you know I've never felt that and stuff like that. You know I'm also a minority but now for us it wasn't the cops. Cops aren't just randomly that go and checking. In the past but now it's it's our turn. Right now we feel it. Now we feel like crap, can I just go down the street? Do I need my paper? You know, it's like, why are you stopping me? I'm a US citizen. What? What the? We're not doing anything wrong. And now we're being persecuted. And so now I'm thinking like, crap. This is what the black community meant, you know? And Oh yeah. Oh yeah. That's right. Right.

[00:11:47]Remember this guys? So now all of a sudden you want to align because you now understand what it's like. Okay. You know, I want to work with you blacks now. But wait a minute. When you had the opportunity, you didn't want to do that.

[00:12:04]Remember, you were acting like we should unite. We got to stick together. Even if we are wrong, we got to stick together.

[00:12:11]And now when the blacks don't want to support you, you get upset. Why are you not supporting us? Again, you get what you put out. And the situation with any group, and I'll talk about this again, when we had a situation with Jello out in Kenya, and I'm living in Uganda, right? But Jay Reel did something that was really disrespectful. He was disrespecting Kenyan women. Um it was it was a mess. None of us took the opportunity to say, "Well, you know what? Black Americans in East Africa, we got to stick together. You know, you blacks from Baltimore, uh the ones from DC, the ones from Philly, you see, we got to come together as one because that would be completely stupid." And if you're a Kenyan and you hear that, you're like, "Where's the accountability?" Like, "Your guy made a mistake. Why just can't you just say, "I'm sorry. Let's work through this."

[00:12:59]You know, it won't happen again. Versus trying to find a way out of the situation, which is what these groups do, you know, once they need you for something, the same people come back and try to say, "We need to be working together. Brown and black coalition."

[00:13:15]And then, no, hold on. Then no, go back to your people who can stick together.

[00:13:20]And I can guarantee people talk like this, usually they do nothing for their own group. They do nothing for their community at all. They only want to come together when it's convenient for them.

[00:13:31]And guess what? Other blacks or other Hispanics also feel slighted when you do that. They feel slighted. If you're a Colombian, this lady, let's assume that she's from the Dominican Republic. The only time you hear from her is when when people are coming after somebody for being disrespectful, okay? Then all of a sudden, that lady comes out and she's talking about, "You know what? We need to stick together. And if you're a Colombian, you're like, "Well, what about the other times?" So, you only want to stick together when somebody is coming against a racist. Well, what about the other times? And that person will know, well, you're talking about me the other times. You really don't want a relationship with me. You really don't care about me. That's obvious. The answer is no. So guys, what do you think? It's your boy Jackson back at it again.
