When we say 'that's not me,' we are actually saying 'that's not only me,' because the true self is not material or a substance but rather an idea; happiness stems from our outlook rather than external circumstances, and suffering is merely an idea that exists only in our minds, not in the conventional world.

Added:What we want to recognize is when we say well that's not me is what we're really saying is well that's not only me because we are only me doesn't exist other than awakeness and you know that's it's that's not that's incomprehensible.
We have a clue as to what the truth is.
We can look around and we can see it and and we see what's over there and we take that to be true but there's no over there over there. So that is not true.
What I'm seeing is not true. The seeer can't see himself. So what am I? I'm not I'm not material. I'm not some substance. What I am is an idea. There was another guy that I woke up and he may have been the Friday appointment. I don't remember. But he was right on top of this, too. Things can only happen right now. Things can only go your way, but doesn't mean they're going a unit's way, particularly unit's way. And my experience, my happiness is contingent upon my outlook. It's not a contingent upon really anything else because Betsy wanted me to talk about my what's what it's like to sit with this experience that I'm in now right now which is kind of weird. I'm 3 months out of the hospital and still can't walk. So that's not usual way of it is mine is my experience but we did get X-rays and everything looks fine but it'll look good then feel good. So suffer suffering is an idea and it's it's always about I I suffer from this. I suffer from that.
This does not suit me. And when you have something that doesn't exist and it's clamoring for attention, it doesn't admit doesn't in uh it isn't manifested in the the conventional world.
