[00:01:14]Um it did exactly what I said it was going to do in terms of, you know, I give you a a couple caveats there with the severe weather. That's not a slam dunk thing and I said said it was going to be a more cloud cover was going to mitigate the wind threat and regardless of whether we had the wind threat or not and there would still be a tornado threat and that's exactly what we had yesterday. So, it wasn't a widespread severe day, thankfully. We don't need that. Uh but there were a few areas, especially across northern New Jersey, uh had a couple tornado warnings there.

[00:01:43]Two confirmed tornado touchdowns in some of those areas, especially Morris County. Uh but there were plenty of uh reports yesterday.

[00:01:52]Uh but thankfully not a lot of wind reports and that's because we had a lot of cloud cover yesterday that kind of put a lid on the instability, put a lid on the lapse rates as a result of that.

[00:02:00]So, basically everything I was explaining in yesterday's video of what can go wrong in in scenario A and B happened exactly that way. So, uh not just a pretty face, folks. I can actually forecast severe weather uh pretty well. But, it's not hard to understand that, but this is what we do in terms of uh private forecasting businesses is that we are able to uh take what the Storm Prediction Center says, interpret that, make sense of it, and then kind of relay it to the public in a way that people can understand. So, hopefully they're able to continue to trust uh what I do in these daily forecast videos because this is wasn't that difficult in my opinion. But, and it turned out to be exactly what we thought was going to happen. Uh this is Tropical Storm Bertha down here, going to be heading toward uh the New Orleans area today. It's going to actually skirt the coast here, head towards West Texas, where it's going to eventually dissipate. Originally, the thought was that this cold front was going to pick it up, and it would just be absorbed by the front. It's not going to make that connection. It's actually going to be uh just kind of drifting westward into Texas, where it eventually just kind of dies out, okay? So, that's not a big deal there. But, you see where the frontal boundary is, and it's right here. There's a cold front. It's going to be close enough in our southeastern areas, though, where it will not completely push through until later today, and as a result, uh we'll have a few scattered showers and thunderstorms in our southeastern areas. May get into parts of portions of southern New Jersey, but more likely as you get down to southern Delaware and the Ocean City, Maryland area. So, in our local forecasts, which we now cover Delaware and the Eastern Maryland Eastern Shore, we do have a 50% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms down here, but it's exponentially less as you head further north. Uh Philadelphia Southeast area is 20%. Stray shower or storm minutes it north of the west of there, nothing, okay? Just a partly cloudy day today, and temperatures will be uh actually not just today but straight through the weekend generally in the lower 80s, okay? So in the 80 to 82 degree range for most of you.

[00:04:02]But as you see above me 78 to 88 is a spread today. Southern areas are going to be closer to the upper 80s yet today.

[00:04:08]That's going to be across Delaware until that front completely pushes through.

[00:04:11]But most of us today are 78 to 82 84-ish, okay? So not really that warm today.

[00:04:18]And then going into tomorrow you see a very refreshing day above me 76 to 82 is the temperature spread.

[00:04:24]And 76 would be in our four northern areas. So we're going to be looking at that general same general idea. Maybe a degree or two warmer than that straight through Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We're looking at mostly sunny skies Friday, Saturday Thursday, Friday, Saturday and then a partly cloudy day here on Sunday.

[00:04:40]I'll move this ahead here you can see nothing but clear skies all the way through the weekend. So another fantastic weekend coming up and actually with that humidity is going to be lower side as well. So it's going to be a very enjoyable weekend to be outdoors. And this goes all the way through the entirety of the weekend. Now once we get into early next week we'll have a cold front approaching. There's some questions on timing of this cold front.

[00:05:01]And it could be some thunderstorms as early as Monday late Monday but it's going to be more likely Tuesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms moving through. And that is reflected in our local forecast as well. So you get to the GFS it has some this is late Monday right here and actually has some activity coming in late Monday. So we don't want to eliminate Monday as being a possibility for those scattered showers and thunderstorms but it also has something here on Tuesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms. So it's going to be probably one of the other but I wouldn't be surprised if the front gets held up and we get something going on both days.

[00:05:37]If it's fast enough there might be a pre-frontal trough here on Monday cold front Tuesday that kind of thing. We have a good thing is we have a lot of time to look at this. We're looking at Uh, today's only of course Wednesday.

[00:05:47]We're talking about early next week.

[00:05:48]Nothing affecting the weekend whatsoever. The end of our 7-day forecast period, which is Monday and Tuesday, day six and day seven, is when we're talking about these scattered showers and thunderstorms, and then it clears out after that point. Uh, as a trough settles in, reinforcing trough to end the month of July on a cooler note.
