[00:00:00]I feel that kids that want to get involved with repetition of the fundamentals can excel and that's the same in life, you know, you really want something go after it. Now in his 58th season the district is dedicating the field in his name something long overdue. This field will forever be known as Joe Vitale Center field.

[00:00:24]Probably could have happened years ago and probably should have. He's serious but he knows how to joke with everybody.

[00:00:30]He takes it pretty easy but when it's time to get serious he gets serious and he can teach better than anybody I've ever been around.
