🎭 The Kevin Hart “ Picnic “ Roast: My Perspective Goes Against the Mainstream 💅🏽” I SAID IT 😳本站添加:
This is my personal perspective on the Kevin Hart roast and I thought it was cultural conditioning and normalization.
Now, black people are deemed too sensitive when we react to sensitive subjects. And [ __ ] like y'all [ __ ] that try to defend racism in the name of comedy.
>> So, an anti-Asian hate crime bill just got passed and our transgender sisters or brothers, however it works, got their own bill. Here the Congress is rushing to pass a law that's going to outlaw anti-Semitic speech.
Includes talking about Israel? Out of 10 white people, one makes a joke at the expense of a black person. Two laugh, three chuckle to fit in, and four stay silent. Later, nine of them still believe they are the good guys. I'll marry somebody black. I just think people came increasingly comfortable crossing racial lines publicly. This is just my observation, but some black Americans themselves normalize a lot of this behavior.
Or shall I say certain behaviors?
Offensive language, edgy humor, it kept getting excused as jokes.
And over time, a lot of social boundaries weakened. And then, when the Kevin Hart roast came along, uh a lot of people thought it was socially acceptable to do it. You know, the funny part is this is not just online. This is offline, too. You have black Americans, a certain percentage, allow their friends, their co-workers, I've even seen it in school, to use the N-word.
They think it's cool. It's acceptable.
You know what I mean? We evolved. Not looking at the historical um context of the N-word. And this is the thing to me. They say, "It's not a big deal anymore." They don't think about the ramifications. So, let's take a quick look at what I wrote. People laughing off racially insensitive jokes in mixed company. I'm talking about black black Americans just to avoid tension. Little by little, it just kept it kept moving, right? So, from my perspective, the roast was not shocking. It wasn't a shocking isolated event. I heard it was horrible and it was offensive, but I knew I wasn't going to watch it because I understood um from the normalization of the disrespect um that there was going to be no limits.
My reaction was different. I said to myself, "Black Americans, this was festering. This had been building for years and eventually it exploded publicly." And that's why I That's why I called it the climax. Not to be What we're witnessing and people are being desensitized. That's the question becomes, what comes after the climax?
What comes after the grand finale? Is there a limit? Are we going to take respect and control back in our community and don't allow people to cross boundaries and get a hate bill passed like um the Asians? Are we going to be real comfortable because this can happen again. There's no limit. What's next? It was the climax. I'm not shocked. I I I see this happening more and more aggressively. Kevin did well in Saudi Arabia because they thought he was the monkey from Aladdin.
