Brain training teaches the brain to create new neural pathways that help shift from hyper-arousal (anxiety/worry) and hypo-arousal (shutdown/depression) states into the Zone of Regulation, where healing is most effective and self-identity develops healthily, particularly during youth development.

The Real Reason You Can't Stop Worrying 🛑本站添加:
So, we talked a little bit about this already, but brain training, what we're doing is we are teaching the brain to create new neural pathways of regulation.
And I call it calming down and cheering up as we come down out of that hyperarousal into regulation and up out of that hypoarousal.
And that we want that brain to develop those neural pathways of staying more in that state of regulation because it really is the zone where healing is the easiest. And then it also, speaking of working with youth, right? I mean, that is the the developmental time that self-identity is developing. Who am I, right? And if there's a lot of hyperarousal of the brain being in that state, what happens is the mind takes that to be who I am. I am an anxious person. I use anxiety to get things done. I'm not safe in the world, and so I have to use that power-through energy in order to be okay. I've got to worry all the time, you know, etc. So, the the brain training is a way that we're starting to help that nervous system become more flexible, come out of the hyperarousal, up out of the hypoarousal, and live more in that state of regulation.
