Streaming revenue comes primarily from partner income (subscriptions, bits, donations) rather than ad revenue, with creators like EVScape earning 75%+ from partner sources; platforms like Twitch and Kick offer different revenue rates per viewer, and creators can optimize earnings by running maximum ad breaks (18-22 minutes per hour) without significantly impacting viewer retention, as viewers often complain but continue watching.

EVScape Reveals The Truth About The Streaming Industry - BeheCast #11Added:
Then I told Alfie, I was like, "Yeah, I get it now. I actually am in defeat."
Um, anyway, are you guys ready to uh start recording the the podcast?
Everyone good? Everybody, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Behe Cast episode number 11.
>> Mhm.
>> 11. We 11.
>> Yes. 11.
>> Beautiful. My name is Tasty Life, the uh the lovely host of Behemoth. Sitting behind me, of course, is our executive producer, Mr. Top Slice. And then the latest, the greatest, the larger than life creator, Mr. Eevee Escape is joining us today for this very special episode. Dude, I'm I'm excited. Me and Eevee have been friends for a very long time. Eevee, thank you for coming on.
How we feeling?
>> Very good, man. And I'm like I'm a little upset that you know, you gave yourself the title host of the Behemoth podcast. He poppers, the executive producer, and you don't introduce me by my title, bro. The CEO of eating. What the [ __ ] is going on?
>> No, I Okay, in my defense, I said the host of Behemoth. Okay. Oh, my bad.
>> The podcast I'm I'm the duo host of >> um and of course we do have Mr. Eeveecape, the uh the CEO of Eating and uh the champ. Well, okay, real quick.
This is just a side note that I wanted I've wanted to ask this for a long time.
EVscape stands for expected valuecape, right?
>> Correct. Yeah, that's exactly right.
>> Are you a poker player? Where did that come from?
>> Used to be a poker player before I started Runescape. I was a professional poker player. Um, I promise I'm not a [ __ ] loser. That's why it's EVscape because of poker. And that's cool.
Because gambling's cool. Not because of math. Cuz I'm a loser. You know what I mean?
>> Yeah, gambling is [ __ ] cool. Which >> is everything. I like when I realized that your name was Eeveecape because of expected value for gambling a couple months ago. I'm like, "Oh, this guy's cool, bro. Way cooler than I thought."
>> I love gambling. It's the best.
>> I actually, funnily enough, I don't like gambling. I I only like poker because like the you you have an edge.
>> Well, okay. Sports gambling and poker.
Sorry, let me say those are the only two.
>> Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that's cool.
>> Sports gambling is still [ __ ] gambling. That's >> No, no, no, no, no, no. There's not.
There is There is poker. There is sports gambling and then there's everything else because those two you can have an edge in and everything else the house wins.
>> Yeah. I I I only sports gamble when I'm with the boys and we're on the beers.
That's it.
>> When are you not?
>> And how often? Yeah. How happen is that?
That's a >> that's really it's literally only when did a bitter comes over to Australia.
Like that's it. That's the only time I sports bet and like and I I the only sport I watch is Australian rules football. I don't watch like [ __ ] basketball, like NFL. I don't watch like combat sports, nothing. So whenever I put a bet on, it's always like, "Yo, can you put the bet on for me? I don't know what the [ __ ] I'm doing. I just want to be involved, you know?"
>> Oh, really?
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Yeah. adds a little bit of skin in the game. Um, damn, we should have got should have got Ditter Bitter on this cast, too. He's been >> Bro, I'm telling you, that's my boy right there.
>> Um, okay. Speaking of Ditter Bitter, my first question is concerning Dead Man Allstars because that's coming up real real soon.
>> And I, if I'm not mistaken, >> I thought you were always on the roster for Allstars, but apparently you were you were backup. And then Mr. Port Hazard, probably the number one pick overall, dropped out >> and you are replacing him, >> correct?
>> What's that feel like? Is there pressure on you?
>> Uh, I was not on the roster. I originally um in the first Dead Man Allstars um Joel Solo Mission, for those that don't know, we're on a firstname basis. Um Joel asked me if I wanted to play and I was like, I would actually rather be the commentator. Like, are you doing like a like a stream for it? And he was like, "Yeah, we are. Like, you would actually rather commentate?" I was like, "Hell yeah, dude. I hate playing Runescape." Like, you know, like this game [ __ ] stinks. I would actually rather commentate. And so he was like, "Yeah, done. We're going to do like a like a live stream. It's all yours." And I was like, "Sweet." And then the event is like getting closer to coming out.
And he was like, "I'm so sorry, man. Um, Jagex don't want to pay for you to fly out. They're going with pure spam." And I was like, "Right, thanks, man." So, I didn't get to play. I didn't get to comment. I didn't get to be a part of it at all for the first one.
>> Oh my gosh. That's not That's not funny, but very funny. I'm sorry.
>> No, it's hilarious. Thanks. Thanks, Jagex. Um and then um for the second one, >> he was like, um I I messaged him. I was like, "Look, if I can't commentate, I do want to play.
Just so you know, like I do want to be involved. Like, I don't want to just not be involved at all." And he was like, "Oh, okay. Hey, like we've got commentary for you this time. U there's going to be like a full live stream for the week. Um but just in case I've saved an extra spot for you. I was like, "Okay, cool." And then so that commentary fell through, buddy. All right.
>> Sorry. Okay. That's numbered, bro. We'll beat you up.
>> I'm counting. That's one. All right.
Three strikes there, bro.
>> Um so he said, um yeah, we saved a spot just in case. And then that commentary stream fell through that year. Um so he saved the spot for me. I got to play last year. And then um this time around he was like, "Hey um there's 100% going to be a commentary stream this year and it's all yours." And I was like, "Joel, I ain't going to lie to you, bro. Suss the analytics. Like I made a [ __ ] bag last time." And I mean a bag, bro. And he was like, "Oh, we'll make it worth your while." And I was like respectfully and I told him how much I made for streaming for the one week. I was like I don't think you have the budget and he was like no we'll make it worth your while for the commentary. I was like done bro I would ra if I'm getting if I'm getting paid the same amount I'm in.
And then um yeah poor Kazard drops out and he was like uh poor dropped out. The spot's yours if you want it before I ask anyone else. And I said, "Before I make my decision, how much?" You know, and then he told me how much I was getting for commentary. I was like, "Bro, what?
You said you were going to make it worth my while? Are we serious right now?
>> What are you talking about?" And like don't get me wrong, it was a generous offer. Like in the grand scheme of things, but like compared to how much I've made streaming, it was [ __ ] pennies. I was like, "No, dude. I'm definitely playing, bro. Like what the fuck?" And so yeah, got the spot. It wasn't like I I wasn't a backup at all.
there was other backups. Um but I think um yeah, he was just like, "Well, rather than commentate, you can jump in." Um and I was like, "Don't [ __ ] give it to me."
>> What a solo mission move, by the way.
Going to make it worth that. That's >> He's actually such a snake, huh? Like >> he is such a Dude, we we did put a little bit of blame on Solo, especially for that first one. He asked you, he's like, "Dude, it's yours." But he did that before he asked Jagex if it was >> literally literally. Yeah. But like to be fair, like I I'm being a bit [ __ ] bit of an like he's his offer for the commentary was very generous. Like it was a lot of money, but like comparatively it's like I don't know, bro. Those >> would it have been the the week of commentary or just like one day of commentary? Okay. The week.
>> So yeah, it's like um I believe they're doing Well, I don't know anymore because I'm not on the commentary team, but I think there's going to be um like Yeah.
quite a quite a bit of commentary. So, the the whole thing.
>> Yeah. Well, he uh we were talking to him the other day. He's actually going to be on the uh the Beehe next week for those who are going to be interested. Um >> Yeah. Yeah. We wanted to talk over some some DMM stuff. The plan that he has is he's having um Pure Spam, I think, come over to his house.
>> And obviously the servers are live for like 18 hours a day or something like that. I'm not sure how much the downtime is, but it's not a lot. and their goal.
I think I can leak. He didn't say we couldn't leak this, right?
>> Yeah, I don't I think he said we're Yeah, we can say all this. I think >> Yeah, this this can't be that important.
Um he's literally going to be commentating. Him and Pure Spam are going to be switching off every day for 10 days for 18 hours a day >> of commentating.
>> So, yeah, Pure Spam actually came in my Twitch chat and said that the other day, so you can definitely leak that. But, um that was originally supposed to be me and Ian. Um, but obviously I was going to be in Australia, Ian was going to be in the UK, so I was going to do the night shift, he was going to do uh the day shift and then the servers go offline for however long. Um, but yeah, so he's now staying at Joel's house, which I guess Joel was like, "Oh, that's going to be a lot easier like having us both in the same house." Which now that I'm thinking about it, I'm starting to think he [ __ ] lowballed me with the commentary offer so he could get that organized. This [ __ ] dude, that is such a solo mission move, dude. Dude, it it's Solivish's defense, dude. And I hope this doesn't count as a strike against me, but I feel like >> Pure Spam has to be a great housemate, you know, whereas you >> up in the air. We don't know.
>> We really don't know.
>> You can ask my MS, bro.
>> She'll tell you. I'm a great housemate.
Like, >> I'll like I'll leave my clothes lying around on the floor and then magically they're washed and folded. So, >> dude, you have a house elf, too, >> dude. I've been trying to catch mine, dude.
>> I've been like putting my socks in weird places like behind the couch and stuff and then next day, bam, gone.
>> Yeah, I have a security camera and everything. I haven't Haven't caught it yet.
>> Yeah, they're sneaky ones, bro. They're sneaky ones.
>> Well, the uh the last time, so obviously for those who are uh longtime watchers, we did used to do another podcast called Based After Dark. Um, the last time you were on there, I I think you told us a story about how you uh stayed over at your friend's house and [ __ ] all over the floor.
>> That was not my friend's house. That was my own.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Is that Is that better or worse? I guess that might be better.
>> That's got to be better, right? Like it would be so much worse if I [ __ ] my friend's house.
>> No, cuz you could just like depends on like the tier of friend they are. You could just never talk to them again. I don't know.
>> True.
>> Actually, yeah. Yeah. If it's like a C, if it's like a C tier of friend, you're like, "All right, well, >> that's that one's a wash. That one's a wash."
>> That's crazy. Depends what tier of friend they are. It's such an insane sentence, but it's so true. Like, we all have tears of friends. Like, >> all right, I've got all [ __ ] cool here, dude. Thank God. Um, >> uh, before All right. All right, dude.
Since we're breaking NDAs and leaking stuff, dude.
How much How much do they offer you for commentary?
>> I I would love to tell you. And if like you could probably just ask Joel next week. I'm happy for him to say, but um >> say bleep it out, dude. Bleep it out. I got to know. I I've got to >> bleep it out. We have a contract. We have a contract with Solo, too. So, I want to know >> if we got hoed.
>> I want to know if we got hoed. If it's 100% getting bleeped out, bro, I'll say >> we'll bleep it out. Yeah, we'll leave ours too >> for for the whole week uh of the commentary I got offered.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> So, that's like that's like everything included like the the whole week of streaming was like eight hours for like the nine days or whatever plus the live event.
>> That's Yeah, that's actually that's a pretty good offer. Yeah, that makes me feel better about about ours.
>> Which just to put it in perspective, like for streaming it last year, I made like double that and this year it'll probably be triple.
>> You made double that from streaming from ad revenue or subs or just people coming in or what?
>> Just kick revenue, bro. last year and then so yeah so last last year I streamed on um kick and Twitch for the first 3 days >> and cuz I was on Bod's team last year and Bod was on kick only like I just had hell of viewers on kick and I was like >> oh yeah >> I got to take advantage of this bro so I I um turned off the Twitch stream and got the double revenue on kick and yeah went crazy with it.
>> Yeah that's that's probably worth it.
All right. When you when you talk about your kick uh >> revenue that you generate, is that mostly gifted or is that mostly KCIP?
>> Mostly KCIP. So, um for anybody that's curious, I every month I put out a video um going over my revenue stats, like how much I earned, how much I paid my employees, like everything. It's all it's all on YouTube for you to see. But most of the money, I would say 75% or more comes from the partner income. And then Yeah. 25 less than 25% comes from the gifted subs.
>> Yeah.
>> And that's it's it's the same on on Twitch as well because because I stream on Kick and there's no ads over there. I play 18 minutes of ads per hour on Twitch because if anyone wants to complain about it, they can just hop platforms and get zero ads and I get paid more. So, most of my money on Twitch.
>> Maximum number of ads you can run.
>> Hey, come on. I'm not taking the piss, bro. The maximum is 22 minutes. I do 18.
>> Oh, okay. Okay. Okay.
>> Yeah. But I mean, surprisingly, I've not seen any um I've gotten more viewers since I bumped up my ads >> on Twitch.
>> Yes, bro. Yeah. I bumped up my ads like two months ago and I've gone from like 180 average to like 340.
The people yearn for the deodorant ads that >> I think I think it's just like people will [ __ ] winge and cry and complain about ads all day, but they won't not watch them.
>> Yeah, 18 minutes is a [ __ ] ton of ads.
>> Who doesn't have turbo though? Like I want to know the stats on how many people have I have turbo so I like >> ads to me on Twitch are just non-existent. Yeah, I can I can like let's say for instance uh the 19th of May I did 76 in ads and 19 in turbo. So what's that? 25% of people watching have turbo.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. No, that's I I was actually I was looking at my analytics the other day because I was talking to uh No Monkey who also runs an exorbitant amount of ads, but uh he doesn't multiream on kick. He just runs ads because >> so many people have Turbo and then like the remaining 20%.
>> He was telling me that I He's like, "Dude, you got to you got to bump up your ads, man. It's worth >> Yeah. Well, I hope he doesn't mind me saying it, but um he hit me up about that. Um uh his wife actually and was like, "Hey, do you play a lot of ads?" I was like, "Yeah, it makes absolutely no [ __ ] difference and I make hella bread." And she was like, "All right, we're going to try it." And then like two days later she was like, "Yeah, what the [ __ ] People just watch that shit."
I was like, "Yeah, dude. That's what I've been trying manager right now, dude. I'll get over there right now.
Give me a sec, fellas."
>> Dude, I literally said this on my stream the other day. I was like, "Guys, I've been playing 18 minutes of ads for [ __ ] 2 months and nothing happened."
I go, I promise you, as soon as this gets out, every [ __ ] Runescape streamer is going to be playing max ads.
I was like, I'm sorry, but it's happening. That one's my bad, bro. That one's my bad.
>> I think what I'm going to do, I'm going in my dashboard right now. I think I'm going to change it to 18 seems so crazy.
I'm going to do like 15. But what I'm going to do is I'm going to gaslight.
I'm just going to be like, "No, I didn't. What? There's more. There's more ads." That's weird.
>> I swear the hell >> I'm bumping up to 10 and I'm downloading multireaming software right now. And I'm going to go over to Kick. I'm >> telling you, bro. I'm telling you. And it's just like um it's so funny because like Kick's whole selling point is that they're like they pay more than Twitch, but if I multistream I get 5 cents a viewer on um Kick and I get like 8 cents a viewer per hour on Twitch now cuz I'm playing so many ads.
>> So I made >> Did you just do 10, Max?
>> I just did 10. Yeah, I'm looking at it right now. It's at 10, >> dude. I'm like All right, I did it. I promise you you're I promise you you're gonna do 10. You're going to get a couple people complain about it, but you won't you will not see a difference in your viewer stats. And if anyone complains, just be like, "Oh, I'm multi streaming, dude. Go to >> Every time someone complains, it goes up a minute."
>> Yeah.
>> And I'll reset it back down to 10 every stream, but every time someone complains, it's up a minute for the rest of that stream.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's true. That's a good idea. Yeah. Um >> Well, I did. Go. Go ahead. Go ahead.
>> You You'll have people complain, but I promise you they won't stop watching, dude. Like, and then the ones that like do complain and will stop watching, they'll just go to kick anyway. So, it's like it's whatever.
>> Yeah. I had a I had a buddy, maybe he's the true progenitor of of this method.
He's a he was a really big League of Legends YouTuber. He will go unnamed as of now. Um, but basically like League of Legends is weird because if you go to any big League of Legends stream on Twitch, there's like 4,000 viewers and then no one's saying anything >> because you can't interact with the streamer because they're playing League of Legends.
>> Yeah. Exactly.
>> Exactly.
>> Um, so he would literally he would he did like one or two streams. I think maybe he streamed for a couple months and he basically took all of those streams, mashed them together in Premiere to make a 24-hour loop and he would just reream 24 hours of VODs with 22 minutes of ads an hour.
>> Yeah.
>> And he would not even touch he wouldn't even touch his Twitch. He wouldn't be there at all. And it was like an extra I mean like four or five grand a month for no effort.
>> I'm in the process of um getting that um set up at the moment. I'm gonna be making a an alt Twitch to do a 24-hour VOD live stream.
>> Vod Behemoth videos all day long and just do 24hour behemoth videos.
>> Literally do it.
>> There's no reason There's no reason not to. You get You're logged into the account. That's That's your job. I'm going to put that on you, >> dude. You could even just [ __ ] go live on the Beehe channel on YouTube with a 24-hour loop of the last month of episodes.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
I wonder I wonder if that would do anything. I we'll we'll have to have some internal discussions, but uh dude, I was I was really interested.
>> Um and you brought this up earlier, how you release like your financials every month? I think that's really cool. What >> like inspired you to do that? Like why did you make that first video?
>> Yeah, that's I get this question a lot.
Um, and it's it's a literally one thing that inspired me to do this, and it was when everyone was like doing their kick deals or whatever. Um, Asmin Gold posted his kick revenue, and he was like, "Look how [ __ ] good kick is. I'm making $200,000 a month. We're on Twitch. I'm only making five grand or some something crazy." And I I ran his numbers compared to mine. And you know, the people I'd spoken to at Kick, they say pretty pretty openly, you get about 10 cents per viewer per hour. And he was getting like 60 or 70 cents per viewer per hour.
So, he had a deal with Kick where he was getting more KCIP than everyone else and was playing it off like he did it. He 100% had a deal, right?
>> Classic gold, dude.
>> Right. And then his Twitch revenue, he plays no ads. He has subs off. So he's being paid by Kick to chill out. Kick is so much better than Twitch. Which it is, but not by that much. Right.
>> Hot take. We can talk about that.
>> Yeah. And so I had I saw so many comments of people being like, "Oh, I'm going to get into streaming. I'm going to start on kick." And I was like, "Dude, I just it just pisses me off cuz it's just not true." So, I was like, "Fuck it. I'm just going to I'm going to put out how much I make um on each platform for how many hours um how much I pay my employees and sort of like talk to people about how to get into the industry and how it's actually challenging and not just [ __ ] easy like everyone thinks it is. Obviously, sitting around playing a Runescape is easy, but like the whole job, you know?"
>> Yeah, exactly. Um, and so I was like, I just wanted people that want to get into it to have uh actual information rather than just like what these big streamers are saying. Like the other day, I went over this like two days ago, Jinxy had a [ __ ] um had a clip where he's saying like, "Yeah, if you have 100 viewers on Twitch, you could go full-time easy and make $3,000 a month for streaming 3 hours a day." And I was like, "Bro, what the [ __ ] are you talking about?" And so, like, yeah, I just dropped my analytics and I'm like, I streamed to four times that many people for literally three times as long and I barely make more than that. Like, what are we talking about?
>> Yeah, that's about right number right there, what you just described.
>> Yeah. So, I was like, um, I just wanted people to have, um, better information and I Yeah. I don't like the whole secrecy behind everyone like big streamers being like, "Oh, I don't want to talk about how much money I make because like they're worried that people will see them differently." I'm like, "I don't give a [ __ ] man. If if I show you how much money I make and you don't want to gift subs, don't, bro. Keep your money. I don't care." Like, so it was like a a combination of I want people to have the right information and I don't like the secrecy behind it. I like the transparency too because I feel like do you guys remember when Twitch started um putting out those contract like were they contracts for those ads >> ad contracts?
>> Yeah, those aren't remember I I remember people would would always say how much their contracts were and I remember people like that I knew how average less me were saying numbers that were higher than me and I'm like you're a liar but I'm not going to call you out but you're lying right now in front of everybody like you just lied to everybody cuz I have more viewers than you and your number is twice as big as mine. All right, buddy. Like there's no way. my ad contracts. I don't know about this.
>> Remember >> you didn't stream on Twitch during toa, >> dude? No. I So I um >> I didn't stream until the kick contracts came out.
>> Oh >> yeah, that's when I I like I streamed way back in the day back in like battle royale days, but um I stopped for heaps of years and just did YouTube only. And then the kick contracts came. I was like, "Oh, maybe I'll give this streaming thing a try." And then I was like, you can make how much? What the [ __ ] am I doing putting effort into my contact content? I can just go live.
Like, what the [ __ ] >> Uh, yeah. Most transparent streamer. Um, >> are you going to explain that contract?
>> Yeah, I was just going to go over briefly. So basically it it was not a great idea on Twitch's end because the way that they formulated it is you they took all of your analytics for the previous month. How many hours on average you streamed, how many viewers on average you had, and then it gave you options for say you want to run 3 minutes of ads an hour, 5 minutes, 7 minutes. It would give you all those options and it would tell you how much you will get paid per hour from running that amount of ads. So it was like a guaranteed amount of money. you could see exactly how much you were going to make.
>> Um, and when they first came out, dude, they I don't know if they did this on purpose, but they were like hyperinflated. Like, they were juicing them to get us on them. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Yeah. They they were juicing them up. Like I I ran 3 minutes of ads an hour for most of my streaming career.
And the second the contracts came out, it was like double or triple what three minutes normally was, >> but it was the same amount of ads. And so, but it was for the month prior. So, like when TOA came out, obviously everybody was juiced up. I think I had like 1,200 average viewers for that month. And my ad contract the next month was like six grand for four minutes of ads an hour, 80 hours in a month.
>> Holy.
>> Like, it was on Twitch, dude.
>> Yeah. On Twitch.
>> What?
>> Yeah. It was It was a lot of money. And I remember Addie, who used to stream, rest in peace. Love that guy, dude. He was averaging like 2K viewers during TA release and he was streaming like Buku hours. And so the contract that he got, I'm going to leak it because he's he hasn't been in the community for like two years at this point.
>> Um he got an ad contract for I think like 12 grand uh for running six minutes of ads an hour. So he took it and proceeded to stream Rocket League to 50 people for a whole month.
>> Yeah, dude. 12 grand in ad revenue.
>> It was like streaming rocket >> play of the century, >> dude. So good.
>> Yeah. Like two months after that, they just totally axed the ad contracts. It was they burned bright, but they they burned fast. You know what I mean?
>> It was it was such nice timing for the Runescape category with TOA. Like it was just like it couldn't have been better.
It was just those months were so nice.
>> That's it's that's such a bad move from them. Like, how do they not see that coming? Like, >> so shortsighted. So insane. Shortsighted is crazy.
>> That's crazy. Well, yeah. Hopefully something like that comes out again soon, bro. Like what?
>> Full, man. Like, let's get it. Let's get it.
>> Yeah. Oh, wait. Okay. Really quick, I got to ask with the uh the release of your financials, you also listed your expenditures. Uh, one line item was, >> I believe, $70,000 on Door Dash. How true is that, man?
>> How true is that one, buddy?
>> Yeah, not true at all. So, it's crazy, bro. It's so crazy. Like, you literally can't say anything on the internet these days without people just taking it seriously. Like, my I did the financial thing and the profit was 64 grand for the year and then I said Uber Eats was 64 grand for the year. Like, it could not have been more obviously a joke. And bro, people just think it's real. And I'm like, do you know how I would have to spend like $57 a meal, three meals a day for the entire year to spend that much money on [ __ ] Door Dash? Like, are we serious?
>> Like, I know I'm fat, bro, but like, holy.
>> Yeah. Okay. I was thinking about getting strike number two right there, dude. I was I was thinking about it.
>> It's like Yeah. So, no, we um actually since we moved into this new place 3 months ago, like we used to be pretty bad on it, me and the misses, uh we pretty lazy. Definitely not $60,000 worth, but like three or four times a week for sure. And then I was like, that's it. When we moved to this new house, >> that's a lot.
>> I know. I know. It was bad. And I was like, we are never we are never ordering it again. And so, we've been here for three months. We haven't ordered once.
So, >> I average one Door Dash like every two months. I looked the other day cuz I door dashed. I door dashed. Uh I did 24 like two days ago and I door dashed some food at the end of the 24 and uh I went back and looked and cuz it's so expensive, bro. It's so bad.
>> It's [ __ ] >> Like I just It's so bad.
>> Yeah.
>> I mean, but like it's I understand it though because it's a really it's so appealing. You could either get up off your couch, spend 10 minutes driving for $10 that's like hot fresh food, or you could wait an hour and a half and get it a little bit too cold for $57 more.
>> And like that's a hard call to make. You know what I mean?
>> Man, it's tough. Yeah, >> that's a hard call.
>> No, it's just I think it's just like being lazy, man. Like I [ __ ] I finish a long hard day at the office streaming for seven hours and I'm like I can't be bothered cooking, you know? I just I had a long hard day at the office, man. So, uh, it's it's just very appealing. But, yeah. No, we're we're on the cooking train now.
>> Yeah. If it makes you feel better, I'm also a recovering uh Door Dasher. Um, I mean, especially during COVID, I feel like that's when so many people just got hooked on those things.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. When when I first like started making actual money on Twitch, and it was during CO, so I didn't want to leave. I did check. I I I spent >> $13,000 on Door Dash that year. Dude, you were Door Dashing individual Starbucks drinks like often.
>> Well, I got a sandwich with it.
>> Yeah.
And sometimes a coffee cake.
>> No, I've been there. I like a late night. I need to stay up. I like I I [ __ ] door dashed um like a white monster once. Just one.
>> Like, yeah, that's bad.
>> It's bad. It's bad. So, like I am definitely a recovering Door Dash addict. Well, we don't Door Dash over here. We use Uber Eats, but um >> same same concept.
>> Yeah, same same [ __ ] thing. Uh but yeah, no, definitely recovering, but no, definitely not $60,000. That's You can't [ __ ] say anything, bro.
>> No, the sarcasm the sarcasm doesn't land a lot, I've noticed, because I think Tasty said last week that we paid a Yeiza $5,000 to come on the podcast and like multiple like more than one person like truly believed that.
>> Yeah. And I'm just like, whoa, okay, this is we're not.
>> Not only did they not only did they believe it, they were also mad in the comments. I can't [ __ ] believe Jagex is extorting content creators for that amount of money, >> bro. He was off the clock. It's okay.
>> It's It's really mean to say this, but people are just so stupid, bro. One of my favorite quote is like, "Think about how dumb the average person is and then remember half of all people are more stupid than that."
>> And I'm like, "Yeah."
>> Oh my god.
>> People really just [ __ ] >> dumb as [ __ ] gang, dude. Dumb [ __ ] gang.
But not you guys. If you're watching this, obviously you're you're probably in the upper quartortile of of intellect if I had to guess.
>> No, but the the worst part is like I I know I'm in the bottom 50%. Like I know I'm dumb as [ __ ] and I'm still sitting there like, "Holy [ __ ] how can you guys gaslighting you guys right now? Don't listen to him. He's gas.
>> Self-awareness I think awards you points man. You You're like top 60% easily for sure just by knowing that, you know.
>> Yeah, I did. Dude, I did make a joke on Behemoth like a year ago. Um I moved houses and so my background changed >> and it was like a it was a 10second bit.
I was like, "Hey guys, new office. My wife left me and took the kids so I moved to Flint, Michigan and this is my new background." And dude, that was all I said. And for dude, the comments on that video were like, "Tasty, we're really concerned about you." Like, like I'm really if you need to talk about this, dude. People come to my Twitch chat every single day. And then like I live with my girlfriend, so every time she comes in, people like I thought she left you. Like, what is she doing?
>> That's so good. I think there was a time um I want to say like five years ago now back when I used to stream um not regularly just every now and then and I was like all right I come with Fox stream I'm going to take a break for a little bit and uh this is when I was doing like the group Iron Man with Per um Skidler and Ron >> and people kept asking like where are my streams and Perp would always say he got banned on Twitch because he did an IRL live stream went to um a graveyard and kicked over a bunch of gravestones.
>> God.
>> And one of the gravestones was Jeff Bezos's daughter. And to this day, I still get people asking me about that.
>> That's such a per thing to lie about, too.
>> Literally, and it's so specific as well.
Like, it's just insane. Insane.
>> Jeff Bezos's daughter is clearly buried in Australia, too. obviously, right?
Yeah. It's just like >> Yeah. Wait, first of all, >> yeah, man. People People are just crazy.
And then there was another one where I took another break and um I told everyone that I got banned because I forgot to end the stream and had a wank.
And like just a couple weeks ago, someone commented on one of my tweets like, "Isn't this the guy that got banned on Twitch for masturbating?" I was like, "OH, >> WHAT?
CAN I be honest? Let's Let's chill out for a second. We all had a close call.
Like that's not >> uh dude, can I be super honest? I actually believed that for a long time.
I >> I totally believe that. But it was like when I was like pretty new to streaming and I was like, "That guy looks like he'd jerk off."
>> Yeah. Yeah. No, no, no. Not me, bro. I don't do anything I shouldn't be doing in my [ __ ] computer room. This is for This is for streaming and streaming only.
>> Sure, buddy. We believe that. I did I did I did get my whole bare ass out on stream once actually.
>> Um you guys >> Yeah, you guys probably remember the [ __ ] the highle community clip >> from a long time ago.
>> Long time the original the original.
>> I don't remember one with your >> I don't know the OG. I didn't know there was an OG. I thought it's just the thing you say all the time.
>> No, there was an OG. I used to just [ __ ] I just hated the freaks in the high level community. Not everyone in the high level community is a freak, but like the Korean K-pop singer [ __ ] profile picture ones, those those freaks.
>> Can we break down because like the way you talk about the HLC like who when I think HLC and I wonder if most people feel this like is no monkeys HLC or No.
>> Uh, no. I wouldn't classify him as HLC.
I'm talking about like the big [ __ ] loser skiller nerds, bro.
>> Okay, so skiller nerds are HLC. Not not specifically them, but it's like it's like the guys that are like, "Well, this is how I play the game and everyone else should play it the way I see." You know those [ __ ] >> I get what you mean. It's like a vi >> with the anime profile picture.
>> Well, it's just it just so happened that most of them had those.
>> A lot. Yeah. A lot. A lot.
>> I thought for a long time our highlevel skillers were just hot Korean women.
Turns out that's >> right. Me, too. You know, like >> turns out that's not the case.
>> Yeah. And so I had beef with them for ages cuz like I would just make fun of them like you're you're a loser. Like I and the Jebrims of the world or something.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Exactly.
It's like hey listen man I know you like Runescape and that's great but like you are a loser like objectively you know and like I wouldn't hold back. I'd make fun of him. I had massive beef and then one day I was doing a drinking stream and I really don't remember much of this but um I got crashed at smoke devils and I just went on this rant about the freaks in the highle community cuz I recognized the name and I knew he'd crash me deliberately and I was like I was like these [ __ ] freaks and I went on this big rant and there's like a a classic image of me in a beanie with the double [ __ ] And >> [ __ ] the highle community. That night, this same night, I was so drunk, bro.
>> I had watched this video of like um >> it was just this stupid little clip of this dude like shadow boxing in his room with his phone on his bed and then he does like this running jump with his pants down and lands on the phone like the camera. And I was like, that's hilarious. And so I did that on stream just full bare ass, bro. Like >> did you get banned for that?
>> No, obviously I ended stream just deleted the vault straight away. Like I was like even in my drunk state I know that's the smart move, but >> you can only get banned if you get mass reported. Like the homies aren't going to report you from that.
>> 100% 100%. And so, um, yeah, I did that and then I thought the world forgot about it and then I met someone that, um, like lives in Melbourne, like near me and he was like, "Oh, dude, I've been watching you for ages." He's like, "I was in that stream when you got your [ __ ] bare ass out." And I was like, "Holy [ __ ] dude. You have been watching me for ages. That's crazy."
Um, that actually just sparked a little thought in my mind. I don't I don't know if I've shared this with you before. Um maybe I have, but you can actually check the first accounts you ever followed on Twitch. And >> really, >> you can you can go back and check that.
I I'm going to have to look up how to do it, but you can look at like the date at which you followed people. I don't think it's on Twitch. It's an external site.
>> Mhm.
>> You were the very first Runescape streamer I ever followed. And I don't think you [ __ ] streamed.
No [ __ ] way, dude.
>> Speaking of longtime viewers, like I I might be number one. I might be up there, dude.
>> Dude, >> I got into Runescape and one of the first series I watched was your plane to Maine.
>> Are you serious?
>> Uh-huh. Yeah, >> dude. You know that was like eight years ago now.
>> I know. Yeah, that's terrifying.
>> Holy [ __ ] dude. We're actually so old.
Eight years.
>> Eight years.
>> I can't believe you were watching me back then. That's so crazy.
Yeah. Oldest videos. It was my my first video was nine years ago and then plane to Main started eight years ago. That's crazy.
>> What is Play playing to Main? I'm looking at it right now, >> dude. I >> Okay, so when I first started uh doing Runescape videos, it was because uh online poker got banned in Australia. I used to be a poker streamer and it got banned in Australia. They passed some legislation about inplay sports betting class poker as a sport and because you bet before the cards come out and then after the cards come out they classify that as inplay. So they were trying to ban like offshore illegal sports betting sites and poker just got caught up in it. Got completely banned and now I can't stream it anymore. My options were to move to New Zealand or find something else. So I asked my like best poker buddy, shout out Allin Pav. Um I said, "Do you want to move to New Zealand with me?" And he was like, "Can't do it, bro.
I can't leave my family." Like I was like, "Yeah, fair enough. I got to find something else." By the way, 6 months later, he moved to New Zealand and now he's [ __ ] super rich. But um shout out all have you [ __ ] Um, but I was like, I need to find something else.
And um, I was just browsing Twitch and I literally came across a Bodie stream and I was like, all right, I remember Runescape. Let me jump on this [ __ ] And I cut you trees for a bond. And then I was like, how I can I can make some [ __ ] money doing YouTube off this. I know I can. And so literally my one of my first ever videos was a one to 99 fletching guide where I got 99 fletching in the video and that was the first thing I ever did in Runescape after I got a bond. So my first video was the f like me playing Runescape for the first time. It's not like I played before and then started making videos on it. So, my plane to Maine was like I this that video did really well and I was like um making other videos getting established and I was like, "Well, I can't [ __ ] be a Runescape creator if I have like this [ __ ] dog [ __ ] account that I've just started."
So, I was like, "Oh, my account's really plain right now. I don't even have a main. What a great title." You know, >> it's a great back then that's like groundbreaking title. Crazy stuff.
>> That's crazy. Yeah.
>> Yeah. So, um, that it was literally just me making an account. That's all it was.
I never had an account. I was just making it.
>> So, you weren't banned for getting your ass out, >> but you were banned two weeks ago on kick for playing a song. I was there.
That was incredible. That was like absolute cinema. It's peak leagues. And you are the first and only streamer to ever get banned from kick. How does it feel?
>> Yeah. Oh, dude. That [ __ ] was so crazy because I'm like I was under the impression you could just play whatever the [ __ ] you want on kick or on Twitch.
Like I that that was my impression. It doesn't matter cuz like it doesn't save to the VODs so who cares. But what actually is the case is if a record company, record label is like actively searching, and they would probably just use AI for it these days, but they can send a DMCA takedown request if you're playing their song live, right? And so Kick had received a DMCA takedown notice because I was playing a J song. I don't even listen to that guy. I just I play [ __ ] DJX on Spotify and it just came up, right? And so, um, when Kick receives that, the way that it works is they have to take down the stream first and ask questions later because if they don't, if they wait, they can be sued. So, they get a legitimate DMCA takedown request. They have to take my stream down, but they're like, "Oh, just take the stream down and then start again and delete the VOD.
That's all you have to do." And I'm sitting there going, "Fuck that. I'm not doing that [ __ ] What the fuck?" Like, "Hell no, for what?" Like, you know? And so I'm like messaging my kick guy like, "What the [ __ ] going on?" And um I stay live and then they just end my stream for me and I was like, "What the like these motherfuckers?" I was like, "No, I'm not going to go live again till I um till I get this sorted." So like I've got I'm in this kick chat with like a whole bunch of the support staff. I'm like, "Hey, like my stream's been taken down. Like, what the [ __ ] up with this?" And they were like, "Oh, yeah, like we sent you an email with the details." I was like, "The email doesn't even say what song it was. It just says who [ __ ] took took the thing down like and their address and stuff." And they're like, "Oh, okay. It was this song. They sent me the J song." I was like, "All right." Like, "What the fuck?" And I was like, "So, am I good?"
And they're like, "Yeah, no, you're all good." I was like, "The email says I have a strike on my account now." I was like, "Can we get rid of that?" And the guy literally says, "Feel free to ignore that." And I go, "All right, they don't give a fuck." Like, and so I I go live again.
15 minutes later, I'm banned.
>> And I'm like, "What the And so, mind you, it's 5:00 p.m. on a Friday in Australia, and Kick is an Australian company for those that don't know. and 5:00 p.m. is knockoff time on a Friday.
So, all of the support staff that I talk to, not the ones that they outsource to [ __ ] other countries or whatever, um, all of the support staff that I talk to have knocked off for the weekend. I'm not going to get a response to them for the whole weekend. So, I'm like, "Yo, I'm banned now. Like, what the [ __ ] going on?" Like, and I'm still live on Twitch trying to figure this [ __ ] out.
Like, and so I get another email and the email is for another song. uh, Victory Lap 5, which I play a lot on my stream, one of my favorite songs. And I was like, "No way. Skeptor is sending me a DMCA takedown request." I was like, "Something's going on here." And so I'm like trying to figure it out. Um, I get unbanned an hour later and I'm like, "All right, just going to go live again.
Go live again." And then, um, probably 30 minutes after that, I'm like, "I got to go take a [ __ ] boys." And on my way to the toilet, I open up my emails and I've got another takedown request. And I come back and I go, I just got a [ __ ] another one. I was like, I still got a [ __ ] but one sec. And I come back and my kickstream's been taken down again.
And I was like, now [ __ ] this, dude. And so I'm looking at the email and I look I Google the guy's name who has taken me down and he is like the CEO of like a venture capitalist firm in America. And I was like, why the [ __ ] This gu doesn't even work for a record label. I was like, second of all, um, it's like three different songs from three different artists signed to three different labels. I was like, this is [ __ ] horshit. And then the [ __ ] address is for a Vietnamese LLC. And I Googled the address and it's an abandoned building in Vietnam. And I was like, "Bro, are we [ __ ] serious right now?" So, it was just some troll from my stream sending like legitimate takedown requests with a fake Vietnamese LLC.
>> Oh my god.
>> I wasn't Oh, I didn't know this part of the story. No way.
>> So, it was just some Playboy Max this whole time. I've been saying it for weeks. I'm like, "Yeah, Playboy Max hate TV, bro. [ __ ] took down his stream, dude. No way."
>> And so, it was just some troll for my stream. And by the way, very funny. Like all in all, like I got banned.
Everything got sorted out. It was like whatever. Maybe lost a h 100red bucks in revenue. Very funny at the fact that he can get away with it. But I said on my stream, I was like, "Whoever you are, that was funny, but be careful because I don't know if you guys remember, there was a dude that was doing this on YouTube years ago. Some kid was like sending false um takedown requests and he's in jail now."
>> I was like, "Oh, >> it's funny. It's It's like It's a funny prank, but this is like genuinely serious. Like, if someone wants to push >> How is that not fraud, right?
>> It's pretty legal. Yeah. Yeah. And so I was like, between me and you, it's funny, but like just be careful, bro, cuz you could go to jail. And like nothing's happened since. Um and yeah, we just got we got a funny bit out of it. The Vietnamese address was so funny.
And then basically my kick guy has now said like before anything happens to your channel, they've got to come through me now. So like regular support can't do anything. It's got to go through like an extra layer. So um I I guess my stream's not getting taken down while I'm live anymore. But yeah, >> show ass. Show ass again. You got a limit test, >> dude. Have you Have you browsed kick?
Dude, it's all ass. There's so much ass on kick, dude. Some of the emotes on there. People come into my into my chat and just drop emotes of like chicks shaking ass and I'm like how the [ __ ] is that an emote bro? Like what are we doing?
>> We need an Eeveecape shaking ass emote.
>> Oh dude, my ass broth dude.
>> I wish I could shake ass, but >> you hopefully you guys know this reference, but my ass looks like Hank Hills, bro.
>> Oh no.
>> I'm very familiar with Hank Hills ass.
>> Yeah. Yeah. It's not good. It's not good. But yeah, maybe we'll get a subathon goal going. I need a new like um end goal for the subathon cuz this is going to be my third one coming up. And I for the first one I said whoever gifted the most subs I would get their name tattooed on my ass. So I forever have Kha on one ass cheek and Miss Piggy on the other cuz there was two people that drew at the end for the most subs.
Um, and then for the last subathon, I said whoever gifts the most subs, I would make a mold of my own penis into a dildo and mail it to them. And so, um, >> you did that?
>> Yeah. Shout outs Shadow Realm Soldier, now owns a dildo of my penis. Very awkward at the post office going to post that because I put it in a box, wrapped it up, put the address and stuff on. I was like, "Hey, I want to send this over." She was like, "All right, where are you sending it?" Said, "Where I'm sending it. what's the name? Gave the name. She's like, "Do you have a last name?" I was like, "I have a last initial." She's like, "All right, cool."
Um, and she types everything in and then she just looks at me dead pan. She just looks at me like this. She goes, "So, what's in the box?" And I was like, "What?" She was like, "Oh, I have to I've got to type it for the computer.
Like, what's in there?" And I go, "Uh, toy." And she was like, "Okay." So, I was typing. She's like, "It won't let me put toy." And I was like, a tool. I was like, "Don't make me say there's a [ __ ] dildo in there.
There's like six people in this post office." I was like, "Is a tool?" She's like, "Oh, tool works." And I was like, "Thank God, dude." Like, >> so awkward, bro. Like, >> yeah. So, I need to come up with something crazier for the next one.
Maybe I'll like a flesh of my [ __ ] >> Uh, yeah, that's great. No, no, that's Oh my god. I was watching one of your videos the other day and uh I'm totally stealing one of your ideas. It was uh do a master clue with no help or whatever.
>> Mhm. Mhm.
>> I'm stealing that. That's That's incredible.
>> It's good.
>> Now, I mean, it's not flesh light [ __ ] level, but how hard was that?
>> You were watching that the other day.
>> Yeah, I know. I You were coming on, so I I just been binging Eeveecape videos. I don't remember which camera.
>> We We do our research, buddy. We do our research.
>> That was That video was like a year ago.
That was like March 2025, bro.
>> That was ages ago.
>> Um yeah, that [ __ ] was hard. That was during my March Madness. Um which is like I was taking um I don't know if you guys remember Mr. Bug. Speaking of stealing ideas, you guys remember Mr. Bug?
>> Yeah. Oh my god. Mr. Bug. Is that like Mr. Long ago?
>> Yeah. So, he was a Runescape creator ages ago and he did this series. It was like the 25 days of Christmas where he took donations in game >> um in exchange for challenges and then he would complete the challenge and then at the end of the month on Christmas he was going to do a live stream and do a big drop party um and he ended up just [ __ ] exit scamming everyone and then is allegedly a pedophile. I think something came out. It was like >> Yeah. Someone came out.
>> Exit scams are so sick, but pedophilia is like so not cool.
>> Yeah. Yeah. You know, sometimes you got to take the good with the bad, you know?
Um but it's like so I was like, "All right, people won't care if I steal this guy's idea cuz he's a [ __ ] nut, right?" Like allegedly. I just want to make that clear. I I don't know the full story.
>> Yeah, you got to talk, bro. We've had some problems with nons and allegedly.
You got to you got to throw allegedly.
Yeah, for sure. For sure. Well, you got to tell me about that after this. I'm I'm >> We will.
>> We can type in the Patreon. Great story.
>> Okay, perfect. Perfect.
>> But he um yeah, I stole his idea. Uh instead of doing it in December, I did it in March. Called it March Madness.
And um yeah, took hella challenges. We ended up getting 30 bill in donations throughout the month. And then yeah, we did [ __ ] biggest drop party in Runescape history and until Odblock maxed. [ __ ] Oda Block, man.
>> [ __ ] he's too rich, bro. He's too rich, man.
>> Okay, so I want to go back. You've been on the pod. Uh, you know, if you if you go back, honestly, like we're on the Beheat cast now. The base after darks with Eevee and Hoodie, like those are absolute heat. 110% bangers.
If you're enjoying this, you got to go back and listen. However, you will notice if you go back and listen to those ones back in the day, Eeveecape used to be on like this health kick, dude. It was all like, man, I'm eating good. I'm in the gym every day. And he has ditch that, dude, and come to the dark side. Back to me.
>> Um, what what was that transition like back to >> the bloat meme that you have just like fully dove into? I respect it so much.
It is like >> I have never seen someone monopolize an NPC in game like for like every single time I died a bloat or the amount of Eeveecape bloat jokes that happened daily in my stream. It is just >> Yeah. Explain explain this transition you went through.
>> So I'll I'll explain the first part of me getting fat again and then I'll explain the bloat thing second. But um like you said back on those podcasts I was on a big health kick and you go back and you watch him. I was in the gym all the time. But you'll also notice I said one very specific thing and I always [ __ ] said it. I just want to get shredded one [ __ ] time to see what it's like and then I don't give a [ __ ] I'm letting myself go again. I said this from the very start. And so I did. I got like relatively [ __ ] shredded and I [ __ ] I looked good as hell, but I hated it, bro. Like I was spending [ __ ] three hours every night in the gym. And like it was it was seriously affecting the rest of my life. Like I was spending more time in the gym than I was spending working on my [ __ ] YouTube, my business. And so I was going broke. Like I was [ __ ] in debt to the government. like I was like, "Yeah, it wasn't good." And so I guess I can really only focus on like one thing at a time. So I'm either in the gym getting healthy or I'm at home getting bread. You know what I mean?
It's like I can't do both. It's really hard. And so after I got super shredded one time, got some cool photos, and then I was like, I really don't give a [ __ ] about this. You know what I mean? I really don't give a [ __ ] about this. And so I just went hard on my on on my YouTube again. Started locking into the business. I was like, "It's time to become a millionaire. Time to [ __ ] lock in." And spent heaps of time on that. And thank God I'd let myself go already by the time I met my misses. Um, so everyone can't say you [ __ ] catfished her. She knew what she was getting. I was fat when we met. You know what I mean? So, um, >> yeah. Uh, that was the thing. I was It was just a one time. And like now that I've um I've spent time working on the business, we built it up, I've got employees now, so I don't have to do all the work. I got more time. I am getting back into it. Um getting back into working out a little bit. Not as much as I used to, but it definitely won't be a big spectacle like it was last time.
Because last time I was like, well, if I'm gonna spend all this time doing it, I got to make something out of it so that I can make some money because I'm putting my business to the side. I need to make a spectacle out of it. So, it's a whole thing. Uh, this time I don't need to make a spectacle out of it. So, you won't you won't hear about it. But, yeah, we're back on uh back on my [ __ ] Um, and trying to trying to stay healthy. Not like get shredded, bro. [ __ ] that [ __ ] but like not diet.
Yeah. Not die in my 30s, you know? So, um there's that. And then on the whole bloat thing, um I used to get really [ __ ] upset when people would make fun of me on the internet.
>> I remember that you would talk about it.
You said like you this this got brought up in the past podcast like how much it would make you actually mad and now it's like it's the personality. I love it.
>> Yeah. And so I I had I sat down one day and I was like going through all of the things that I can do to I keep saying it, but like [ __ ] make my business better, right? I was like, "How can I make my YouTube better? How can I make my streams better?" And one thing that always came up is like people would make fun of me and I would get mad at them. And then I was like, I'm never going to see this person again. I don't know them. I don't know who they are IRL. If I sit there and give them some lecture like, "Why are you being mean on the internet?" like they're just going to [ __ ] turn my stream off and go somewhere else and everyone that's watching is going to have a [ __ ] time. And so I was like, "All right, well, I'm just not going to get [ __ ] mad about it anymore. I'm going to play into it because everyone wants to make a funny joke." And most of the time they're not [ __ ] funny, let me tell you. Like people will come in and be like, "What's up, you fat [ __ ] [ __ ] Hope you die." And then I'll be like, "What the fuck?" And they'll be like, "Oh, I was just joking, dude." And I'm like, "WHERE'S THE JOKE?
WHAT PART OF THAT IS THE JOKE? LIKE, you know, >> but then you get some genuinely funny ones. Like my favorite one ever, this guy, I have my hair down and this guy goes, "Bro, you look like Jesus if he ate every meal at the last supper."
Like, that's funny, dude. Okay, that's that's good.
>> Oh my god.
>> And so I was like I was like, I'm just going to play into it, bro. I am a fat guy, you know, and if people want to make fun of me for being fat, cuz let's be honest, everybody wants to make fun of a fat guy cuz it is funny. But nobody does it IRL because if you went up to a fat guy and were like, "Hey, what's up, bloat?" Like, he'd probably punch you in the face. Like, you don't do that, right? But you can do it on the internet because you can come in my chat and go, "What's up, bloat?" And then what's the worst that's going to happen? I'm going to get mad and you're going to go get rage beded, you [ __ ] idiot. you know, and so people want to make fun of fat people. And I was like, I can be that avenue. I'm going to let people get it out and uh enjoy themselves. And so it happens on stream. It happens a lot in my comments, but I don't read them anymore. Shout out Mike. He does that for me. That's what he gets paid for.
Um, >> shout out Mike, dude.
>> I read them, too. They're fun.
>> Yeah. Well, that's the thing. Sometimes there's good ones, and the good ones I get sent on stream. They'll be like, "Oh, did you see this guy commented that?" I'm like, "Yes, I Yeah, I totally read that, bro. I read all the comments.
Um, thank you. And so I'll read it and it's like it's funny and it's it's good and the good ones I get to make clips out of. Like some of my most viewed clips are like when I'm attacking a guy in dead man mode and he's praying range and I'm like I haven't [ __ ] hit this guy with range once and he's praying range and then the guy types in game pray range for the flies bloat and it's like that that clip gets 300,000 views and it's like you know.
>> Yeah.
That was one of the top comments on our YouTube post that you're coming on. It's like, man, hope these guys got enough prayer pods to pray range for that long.
>> Yeah. Yeah, it's classic. Yeah. No, it's good. And so, yeah, you just got If I could give one piece of advice to people that get made fun of on the internet, just play into it, dude. Like, cuz at the end of the day, like, you don't know these people. You're never going to see them again. Why are you letting their words affect you? Like, I did for a long time and it just makes you sad. So why not just [ __ ] play into it and be happy, dude? If I was upset that people call me fat now, I wouldn't [ __ ] be fat. I don't give a [ __ ] You know, >> I think that's we're kind of drawing on a deeper point here, which I think is is really good. There's some sort of Game of Thrones quote where Tyrion's like, you know, wear it as armor or whatever when people talk about him as a as a dwarf. And to your point, like it's that is your only avenue. like you have to take control of it otherwise you end up with you know like sorry Coxy for bringing this up but like the Coxy clicks way back in the day when he did the AHK stuff and people were just [ __ ] dog piling Coxy because it was funny. I'm sorry, Coxy. It was funny.
>> Absolutely hilarious.
>> And like, you know, he notoriously would get really really upset about it and like, you know, like there is something to feel bad about there. Like, no one wants to cause like I don't like seeing harm come upon people. But now he's in this new era where he like he jokes about it himself.
>> Yeah.
>> And it has so much less power.
>> Yeah.
>> Because if he returns the joke, then everyone has a good time now, you know?
Like that's just fun. And it's just like you can't Yeah. You the goal is to upset him and you can't. So you lose. You're the loser in that scenario. I think one of the best examples of of that is um Sinferna. Shout out Sinferna, bro. You guys remember when she had a drinking stream and just lost her birthday all over herself, >> dude. And then the next time she went live and she was like drinking and laughing about it again.
>> Yeah, that was >> that's the way, bro. like you know that's control >> explicitly cuz I was live when that was going on and dude someone came in my chat he's like dude tune into stream right now and I tune in and she's still awake at this point but she's clearly not doing well >> and then in the 3 minutes that I watch it she passes out pukes on herself and her viewers go from 50 and they climb to 1200 just in chair dead and everybody's trying to get a hold of like someone that can end the stream. They're like messaging Twitch. They're sending emails. She's like that for like an hour and then they finally cut her stream off.
>> Oh, dude, that was so crazy. Yeah, I just remember the view count just flying off and I was like, that's so crazy.
>> But yeah, she Hela took it like a champ.
Yeah, and she was um that's that's the way you got to be, especially in this day and age. Like at the end of the day, it's just words on the internet. So, it's like, I don't [ __ ] know these people.
>> Who knows? They're probably They might just [ __ ] live in their mom's basement and have no job, and this is the only enjoyment they get out of life.
Why not give that to them, you know? Let them have it.
>> Yeah. I mean, words only have the power that you give them. You know what I mean?
>> And that's big coming from you because didn't you like study words or something?
>> I did. Yeah. I have >> My name is Pa.
>> Fun fact. All right, buddy. Uh, fun fact, I have a degree in theoretical linguistics. Um, >> so that means almost nothing to everybody, but >> if you do know what that is, shout out.
>> Yeah, you just said two words that I've never heard before in my life. So, >> it's kind of like linguini. So, just think of that. Okay, perfect.
>> Now you Now I'm hungry, dude. Thanks.
>> Well, aren't you, buddy? That's right.
Okay, going back to when we talked last time again, I want to touch on >> the difference between how Jagex interacts with content creators now versus then. Do you remember you were like, man, Jagex is it like man the quote was uh that you said it was >> no it was the it was the [ __ ] I can't remember. Anyways, any worry of getting like a retweet or something like that?
>> Any danger of a retweet.
>> Oh yeah. Any danger of a retweet. That's what it was. Evecate would put on these crazy events like >> I don't know if there was a guy before you that was doing that, but it definitely from when I came into the scene, you were a pioneer in the event space.
>> Um, >> and just Jagex did not give a flying [ __ ] dude. Like at all. They like they wouldn't they wouldn't didn't want to go near it with a 10- foot pole and here you are doing it.
>> You know, you were you were the pioneer and now in a couple weeks we have Solo Missions Dead Man Allstars in Chicago like >> an IRL event. Yeah, that's crazy.
>> Yeah, just what a what a change.
Anyways, um so how do you how do you feel like Jagex has come like >> Yeah, it was it was bad back then, dude.
Like I was Yeah, you mentioned you don't know if someone was doing it before me.
No, I was the I was the first guy to put on an event like that. And like for the first one I tried to get support. They didn't want to borrow of it. I had like 5,000 subscribers on YouTube. Fair enough. You know, they're not going to [ __ ] Y off. Sorry guys. Got to say goodbye to my wife. Sorry. I told her I had this podcast this morning. She goes, "Oh, so I can't come say goodbye?" I go, "No, [ __ ] those guys." Like, >> yeah. Yeah.
>> Yeah. Just come in, dude.
>> I Annie knows better than to walk in right now, dude. She's asleep, >> dude. That's the other [ __ ] joke.
People always say I beat my wife, dude.
Because she came on stream one time and made a wife beating joke. And the short got hella views. And now everyone asked me if I beat my wife.
>> And I mean, not even once.
>> Well, only when she doesn't listen. God.
I don't want to have to tell her three times.
>> I was You didn't find a good listener.
>> No. No. I had to teach her, you know.
>> Oh, this is too funny.
>> Oh, man. It's always like people are like, "Oh man, you shouldn't joke about stuff like that. People seriously go through it." And I'm like, "Yeah, my wife." Like, >> she's going through it right now.
>> Oh gosh.
>> Yeah. So, there wasn't anyone like before me that was that was doing events. I I sort of I jumped in. I was the first guy doing it. And I It's just because of like the way I've always been IRL. I always love getting big groups together and like having fun. And so I was like, "Ah, how did we make this event?" And then so yeah, first time Jagex didn't want a bar of it. I was I was a low sub YouTuber, which was fair enough. And like I had to ask a whole bunch of big YouTubers if they want to jump in. And of course, like I got aired by most of them. Like Bod's Bod's uh has a clip where he's like, "Dude, have a look at this. EVscape messaged me about the first battle royale and I completely aired him and then after it popped off he messaged me about the second one and I jumped in on it like I was like that's just how it goes dude and so I fought for years bro just to like first of all they like wouldn't give me any funding they wouldn't they wouldn't give me any money for this event I had to go find like other sponsors like the second battle royale had a $5,000 prize pool I completely bootstrapped that um and put it all up myself and um they just wouldn't give me anything. We got the private world, but that was it. Then we do the next battle royale and still get no money off them. We have to find other sponsors. finally they paid us on the um fourth battle royale, but um since then there's like not been much in in my avenue and that was funny you mentioned um DMM in Chicago. I think it all fell apart when I wanted to do a land battle royale and they were like, "Yes, let's do it, but only if we can stream it on our channel." And I was like, "Get fucked." What the [ __ ] No. like this is mine. What are you talking about? And they were like, "Oh, okay." And then that's it's all fell apart since then.
Um so I kind of I kind of fumbled the bag hard on land events. That was like probably three years ago now. Um and then yeah, since then solo missions popped up, taken over, and like rightfully so, he [ __ ] puts on a way better event than I did. And um he's a he's a [ __ ] genius on the back end.
So, um, yeah, the they're a lot better now, but still not great. We tried to get some funding for the speedrun cup, the most recent one, and basically we're told that um, oh, I don't pull the numbers that I used to, so they're not going to pay for it. And I was like, what the >> Oh my god.
>> That's the meanest thing anyone could ever say. That's insane. and then we just ripped bigger numbers. I was like, "What what are we doing, guys?" Like, "What?" Anyway, so yeah, going back to them and especially now that I'm like pulling some pulling a lot bigger numbers than I used to. Um, we're sort of in talks on doing a few things at the moment, but I still feel like it's pretty hard to get something going. And I think they're all they're just all in on Dead Man Allstars at the moment. They basically said with the speedrun cup thing like, "Oh, we've seen what we can do with Dead Man Allstars. So, anything worse than that is not going to be a thing." Which is crazy because they always said like, "Oh, we want to support creators. If you got an event, give us an idea." And then I'm here with a I'm here with an idea that has been proven and they're like, "You're not just I think I think calling yours thinking an idea is not very fair.
There's idea and really good execution behind it." Like, I don't we're not just at the idea stage of what we've done.
They basically said, "Oh, we've seen what we can do with Dead Man Allstars, and essentially anything worse than that is not going to be good enough anymore."
And it's like, "What?" So, we're only supporting Solo Mission now. Fair enough. Um, but we're trying. We're always People always ask when the next Battle Royale is coming. Trust me, I'm trying, dude.
So, they are Yeah, I guess they're better at talking with creators about getting events going, but not not me. I don't think they like me very much. And fair enough, I do the [ __ ] out of them.
>> What if you're a brand risk? Maybe that's where this is coming from.
>> Yeah, 100%. I I would get it, but like >> I think I would respect it a whole lot more if I was like, "Hey, can we do this?" And instead of getting the ring around, they were like, "Listen, bro, >> you got your [ __ ] bare ass out on stream.
Probably not." And I'd be like, "Fair, that's fair enough." You know? Yeah.
>> Rather than like answer.
>> Yeah. Yeah. rather than getting the ring around and being Yeah.
>> Okay. So, last time it was the meme was like any danger of a retweet cuz you just literally all you wanted was a retweet that your event was going on from their account. But did correct me if I'm wrong, you got an ingame message, right?
>> We ended up getting that first time ever they've put an in-game message for um any sort of event. And I was pushing for it for like that was the fourth battle royale. I've been I was pushing for that since the second month since we first started working with them. Hey, can we get an endgame message? No, we can't do it. Ask that guy's boss, can we get an in-game message? No, we can't do it. Ask that guy's boss, hey, can we get a [ __ ] in-game message? No, we can't do it. And finally, yeah, we finally got an in-game message. And now they just rip him for everything.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
Well, dude, hopefully you could take some sort of pleasure in knowing that all of your hard work in setting up events for other creators has paid off for other creators. Not you, other creators. You did pave the way, you know? So, um, yeah, I hope it's not too egotistical to say like I I [ __ ] walked so they could run, you know what I mean? I've I've put in the [ __ ] hard yards over the last five years and now we're getting some crazy events which like I I certainly enjoy being part of but yeah I I would love it if I could run another one.
>> Well, it's like I feel like you could run it. It doesn't need the LAN aspect of it. Like unless like that's something you're very set on, but I feel like your stuff doesn't need LAN. LAN is a little bit different with PKing because the ping is so important. You know, you could argue you you know if you have two people fighting and the ping difference is insane. Well, You're always going to fall back on that as a complaint, but like Speedrun Cup Battle Royale, that's I don't even The budget on that compared to the budget of these other things is >> astronomical. It's crazy. Yeah, >> I'm doing some Yeah, >> I put all of the budget basically towards the prize pool. So, it's like whatever whatever we have left over, I give back, which my YouTube manager, um, shout out Mason, he says, "Don't [ __ ] do that. Pocket some." And I'm like, "Ah, bro. It's just money, dude. At the end of the day, like I don't give a fuck." He's like, Oh, you got you got to make some money for this. I'm like, "No, [ __ ] that. Give it to the contestants, you know." Um, so >> I think the a lot of the budget is like the last battle royale was $20,000 prize pool. I don't want to do another battle royale with less than that, you know? We got to we got to beat that. We got to beat that for sure.
>> It's so interesting. I'm going to I'm going to I I was, you know, doing my Eevee escape research. I don't think the number doesn't matter. I think it I think it matters to you more than it does everybody else. I would say you could you could go way less. Okay. As long as you know. I'm just letting you know from viewer like I think I think as long as you hit five if you go if you're under 5,000. Yeah. Then we'll make fun of you. But like anything over 5,000 I think is >> as you know my eyes on a thumbnail or in a title I think that's pretty good.
You're just probably test the best cuz that's like a five figure number and then to beat that what 100 grand. That's >> Yeah, exactly. Um, for the speedrun cup, we just did GP last time, so it's like there wasn't even a prize pool for that.
And that >> Did you RWT any of that or >> No, I wish, bro. I wish. I always say like I could hell get away with it, you know? Like I could >> Oh, it's so it would be so easy.
>> I ran the numbers one day. I was like, "Dude, if I give away 10 mil every hour on stream and that gains me 27 kick viewers and I real world trade to buy that gold, I will make I'll break even."
And then I was doing other ones like, "Oh, dude, when I did my [ __ ] when I did the March Madness giveaway, the 30 bill giveaway, I was on we peaked at 8,000 viewers for that giveaway." And >> damn, >> I I think we averaged like 2.4K for 24 hours. And I was like, >> I could buy a 100 bill with that money.
>> I was like, why don't I just do this every month? And then I was like, how do I get away with buying 30 bill every month?
>> Jagex, dude.
>> There would be a number of viewers that you could get on kick with the KCIP that maybe Bonds could work out. I don't >> it was no that was that was my next avenue. That was my next avenue and it was like I could >> if I averaged two and a half thousand viewers for 24 hours I would break even on bonds for a 30 bill giveaway.
>> Jesus Christ.
>> Yeah. Yeah. So >> So why isn't doing it then?
>> Cuz he already has 800 bill. Like what the [ __ ] What does he need to buy bonds for? Dude, I called I called him up the other day because I have a merch idea and I've got all my money tied up in other merches and I called him.
>> Talk about this later.
>> Oh, okay. Well, we can talk about it later then.
>> Yeah. Yeah, >> we can talk about it later then.
>> Oh, no, no, no, no. Sorry. Sorry. Dive into what I I go into what you're saying.
>> Okay. Yeah, dude. I called him up and I was like, "Can I borrow 20 bill?" And he was like, "What do you need it for?" I go, "For a merch." And he was like, "All right, that was it." He just gave me $20 billion worth like $6,000 Australian dollars. He was like, "Here you go." And he's like, "When am I getting it back?"
I was like, "Two months." He's like, "Cool." I was like, "I'll give you 10% on top." He's like, "No, it's okay, man.
Just give it to your chat." I was like, "What the [ __ ] 20 bill." Like >> Odblock has what? 800 bill bank and then probably like an 800 million bank IRL.
Like he's he doesn't care, you know?
He's fine.
>> Yeah. Yeah. He's Yeah, he's he's good on money. He's good on money. I >> If you don't pay him back, he'll make YouTube videos about you and then he'll make even more money.
>> Money, bro. He's getting that money back somewhere.
>> I remember like like 5 years ago we had a beef and we were going back and forth making YouTube videos on each other and then we like hashed it out in a phone call and he was like, "I mean, [ __ ] bro. You got some videos, I got some videos, we both made money." I was like, "Yeah, we should beef more often, dude."
Like uh um All right. All right. Well, I I don't want this main cast to drag on too long before we head to the uh the Patreon.
So, I think we are going to jump over there now. Well, we're going to go into uh Eeveecape said he wanted to share his thoughts on the Israel Palestine conflict. So, we're going to get ahead and uh go into that. Eevee, thank you very much.
>> Yeah.
>> Thank you very much for joining today, brother. I hope you had a good time. Do you have any closing words or uh or shout outs for the viewers?
>> Yeah. No, just get on the Patreon, guys.
I got a lot of thoughts about that conflict, so you're going to want to hear about them. So, jump jump on that Patreon. Yeah.
>> All right. Thank you guys for watching.
