M&M’s?! A Murphy Bed in a MERCEDES?! How Is This REAL?! Qwest 24R

[00:00:00]Don't you just love an M&M? No, not the ones that melt in your mouth. I'm talking about the Mercedes and Murphy bed combo of this Integra Quest. What's up, everybody? It's Laura that RV girl here at Travel Land RV in Kelowna, and I'm super excited to hang out with you guys today and showcase for you the Integra Quest 24R.

[00:00:19]Now, let's check out here on the off-camp side or on the driver's side here. We've got a couple components that I want to point out to you before we head inside like your Onan generator here. We're going to have a single slide along this side here, and we're also going to have a couple other storage bays underneath that will provide you with Look at that, great amount of exterior storage space and outdoor outlets, too. Now, just to the back here of this slide is where we're going to have our shore power hookup, and within this storage bay here, this is where we're going to have our wet bay. So, this is where you're going to be able to hook up to your hot and cold outdoor shower. You've got your levers for your black and gray holding tanks, and you can toggle between full campsite hookups or you can fill up your tanks to boondock. Now, it's a little bit of a tight squeeze in here, so let's make our way here and then I will pop right back over just to showcase for you the rear portion of this Quest as you've got your rear observation camera, and you have side cameras on this unit as well. Now, your campsite is fully unobstructed, so no slides over here. You've got a nice big powered patio awning there, and then we've got some more storage bay doors here that are going to allow for easy renting and cleaning out for your gear.

[00:01:33]And just underneath is where your propane fill or tank is going to be.

[00:01:37]But, you'll have that quick connect there so you can plug and play with your favorite barbecue or griddle. Now, let's go ahead and pop inside this beauty.

[00:01:46]We're going to start right up front here with the Mercedes cockpit. I mean, it always feels so luxurious, doesn't it?

[00:01:53]We are going to have swivel seats on the passenger and driver seat, so that's going to allow for expansion of your living space. And then, right up above us here is all of this cabinetry space.

[00:02:04]So, this unit here is really going to be geared towards couples as you've got all of this space. I mean, look at that all deep in there for you to utilize. We're not going to have that over cab bunk, but instead we're gaining all of that storage. Which, when it's just the two of you, you don't need the additional sleeping space, and I know you're going to love all of this open-air feel in the cockpit. Now, we're going to dial it back to our front entry door a little bit as we do have some components just off there. We are going to have our leveling system here, your main power switch, awning, exterior lights, power step, and since we're here, the extension off of your countertop of your kitchen there. Standard outlet, so we're going to start off with a bang meaning, yeah, we are coffee bar approved right off of the bat. And just up above there is where we're going to have a little storage cabinet and our main control system here. So, you can monitor your battery, tank levels, switch your water pump on, your tank heaters on, and you can obviously start and stop your Jenny.

[00:03:05]Now, into this unit here, it's such a versatile space. Let's start right up here at the dinette. Now, I talked about not having the over cab bunk, but they still give you options for additional sleeping spaces within this dinette.

[00:03:19]It's my favorite type of dinette. Check it out, super easy to operate when you want to get it down into a bed, and there's no posts within your legs here.

[00:03:29]Absolutely love that feature, and we're going to have forward-facing seat belts with child seat safety tethers. So, if grandma and grandpa, you're hanging out with the kiddos, you've got your grandbabies, and you want to bring them along with you on a little summertime trip, you can easily bring them and their gear along, and you've got a space for them to sleep as well. Now, right up above this space, we're going to have some overhead cabinetry here. So, full pass-through all the way through with those three cabinet doors.

[00:03:58]And you're going to have under cabinet lighting. Nice big window here within this dining space, and we've got the accordion pull-down shade there for privacy. Also, within this space, you're going to have a standard outlet just along the back. So, if you need to power up and charge devices from the comfort of your dinette or get a little bit of work done, you have that option. Next up, let's talk kitchen as you have an extensive amount of countertop space, very impressive for this unit, which by the way, let's talk about is only 25 ft.

[00:04:32]And price-wise, you guys, we're sitting at under 168,000 Canadian. So, just keep that in mind, y'all, for a Mercedes. Now, we're going to have this nice big circular stainless steel sink and the high-rise faucet there, and they've given us this cutting board cover, so that's going to add back some of that prep space when you're not using it. We're going to have standard outlets underneath this shelf here that harbors your 32-in smart TV with the integrated JBL soundbar. And we're going to have cabinetry just to the left-hand side of the TV, and some cabinetry just to the right-hand side here right up above our microwave. And this is a convection microwave, so you can get a little bit of baking, a little bit of roasting, a little bit of pizza popping, whatever you like within that microwave oven, you've got options. Also, you've got an integrated hood vent fan just up above your two-burner Suburban cooktop.

[00:05:29]And then down below, because we've got the microwave mounted up top, we have all of this space for storage. So, check it out, we're going to have all of these drawers here just along the bottom there. So, a deeper one there for pots and pans, and then we have more shallow ones perfect for kitchen utensils and flatware. I mean, look at that, great amount of storage space in this kitchen as well as just underneath your sink. Good storage space there, and you can utilize that for a garbage can, I am sure of it. Also, just to the back here, we have our Furrion 12-V fridge just at the bottom here and freezer right up at the top. Now, right behind that there, we have this gigantic storage space that can be utilized as wardrobe storage or pantry storage just to the back of your kitchen. Now, I say wardrobe storage because this area here, well, it's not just a sofa for you to enjoy your fave flick or catch the game in front of, this actually is also your bedroom space. And I'll show you what I'm talking about real quick, it's very easy to operate, and also, we've even got some hidden storage drawers just inside this sofa. I love when they finish it off with the upholstery because it's just so seamless. Nice hardwood drawers here. Now, let's go ahead and break down this sofa into our bedroom space. I'm just going to go ahead and put our cushions right over here. Check this out, it's all going to be on the Euro loft system, so very nice and easy to operate. We're going to ensure that we are in our off position for the lock, and then watch this, you guys.

[00:07:09]Ready? Oh.

[00:07:12]Check out how easy that is to bring down your bed. And what they've done here is given you these little carved-out coves in each side that are going to have USB charging so you can power up and charge your devices. You've got this overhead cabinet here just like you would see in any other RV bedroom, and we're going to have some under cabinet lighting as well. Also, you'll find standard outlets in there, and you've got a little feed here so you can power up and charge devices there. And when we are in our sofa mode, we also have this standard outlet here. So, you can power up and charge devices or get a little bit of work done or use that for larger devices like CPAP machines. Now, I'm going to fold up this back cushion, and we're going to go ahead and get this back into its sofa position. I was almost going to do it by hand, but guys, we're rolling on the Quest, okay? You're not doing any of that stuff. Let's go ahead. Again, push of a button, and look at that, it easily transforms back into our sofa.

[00:08:11]Love that you have that beautiful paneling along the underside of the bed, so it really makes the space feel like a lounge space and not like a bedroom when you've got it back up in this position.

[00:08:24]All right, so also, another outlet on this side, too, of the sofa.

[00:08:29]Lastly, let's talk rear bathroom. Now, this is where we have our vanity space.

[00:08:34]We've got our sink here, and we've got a good amount of space next to it there with a towel ring, and then underneath the sink, you're going to have some storage space there for maybe, you know, toothbrushes and toothpaste, little toiletry items, and then this nice big mirrored medicine cabinet is going to provide you with more storage space for bathroom essentials.

[00:08:54]To the back here is where you're going to have a foot-flush marine-grade toilet. We're also going to have a standard outlet just off the vanity space so you can power up and charge devices. We have a window here, which I love when they fit a window into the bathroom. Also, you do have a vent with a fan up top. We've got a hook for towels. We have this water-resistant little kind of drawback shower curtain here, water-resistant surround here, shower head up on a wand, and we've got these little shelves there for your soaps and shampoos. Also, it was a bit of a step up, but they've given us a skylight overhead, so we've got space.

[00:09:32]And again, I'm about 5'2, 5'3 with a heel on my shoe today, so I hope that gives you a little bit of an idea of what you'd be working with relative to your own height. Now, also here just along the back, if you were looking for more storage, well, don't worry, they've given it to you as you have this massive wardrobe just off of the bathroom vanity space there, and this is also going to be a tabletop here for the table to go right in between your driver and passenger seat.
