Cross-cultural relationships are often misunderstood as transactional or control-driven, but they actually represent a conscious choice for peace, mutual respect, and genuine traditional values; these relationships require mutual alignment, effort, and understanding of each other's cultures, and can lead to long-term committed partnerships when both parties genuinely seek connection rather than control.

The Real Reason Men Are Leaving the West (The Passport Bro Truth)Added:
Hello everyone, this is a bell and we have another talk and today we're going to talk about passport bro-ing. People call it passport [music] bro-ing, but what if it's just really people choosing peace? So, they said men go to other countries [music] to find relationships. Why is it suddenly controversial to look for love that actually aligns with you?
So, let's dive in and let's talk about it. So, what does passport bro really means? Some men feel like [music] dating in their own country is more stressful than finding their relationship with the other countries. So, it's really controversial since there's a lot of things that we have to talk about and people are thinking that men just go for control over love.
And it's the stereotype and there's a lot of stereotypes going on on this topic. So, men go to different countries to look for love that actually aligns [music] with them, that actually aligns with their values, not because they want more control on the Filipinas or [music] on the other women in the other countries. Some men really go for serious relationship and traditional relationships.
So, I myself prefer on having relationships with other foreign countries cuz me basically, I'm so done with my same um people cuz I've I've been hearing a lot of things about Filipino guys and I'm not generalizing it, I'm just hearing it from um my own experiences, from my friends, and of course myself. So, I want to explore more.
Me, basically, I want to explore different cultures. I want to explore different traditions by knowing the people more, by knowing my partner.
And me, personally, I love traveling, and it's a plus point if I find a partner in another country. So, they also think that they find more values in the other country than their own country. And yes, it's a plus point that you want to know their culture, you want to know their beliefs.
You want to know their values as a person. [music] And you just don't want to stick in your own beliefs, your values, and traditions. And that's fine. It's not a big deal to a Filipino. And actually, we love a man that really goes beyond and really explore us in a deeper [music] way, explore values and beliefs. Also, let's break the stereotype versus reality here.
So, a lot of people saying men just go abroad for control or men just going abroad for women.
Actually, that's wrong.
Cuz I know some people, and me, personally, I've been hearing a lot of things that there's successful relationships because when a foreign man come to our country, Philippines, they want to explore the Philippines itself. They [music] want to explore the place.
They want to explore our traditions. They want to explore everything, the people.
And they're actually just not looking for a woman. They're looking for a deeper connection that reflects the country itself. So, it's not actually men going for the women if they go to different country, regardless if it is Philippines or different country, [music] right? So, yeah.
And I also understand [music] why it got a lot of hates.
Of course, misunderstandings, social media narratives, ego clashes.
And let's think about it in an understanding way and critical. Men go for another country to look for alignment, to look for connection, deeper connection of our values and beliefs.
Not just for the control. So, second point. Why it actually works. Cultural differences is equal to different dating expectation.
This is a good topic.
Since you have both different cultures, different beliefs, in a dating way, it's really good that you guys [music] explore each other's different cultures and beliefs. So, here's one thing. It's a big controversial talk on who's going to pay on the first date. Is it a guy or the woman?
Me personally, I want to think about it in a way that who asked for it? Who asked for the initiative of the date?
So, I guess the person that asked for the should pay for the first date. Or if men really can provide and if you're [music] the type of men that really goes above and beyond even in the first [music] date, then I think you should pay.
Also, some culture prioritize commitment, family, and of course, long-term relationships.
So, if men go to you and traveled for long hours, that effort itself [music] speaks louder.
It's not about money, it's not about control, it's not about cuz they want to know you in a deeper level.
They want to commit, they want to show you that they want to commit and they want to last this in the long-term. But, of course, everyone Not but Not because the men traveled for that long, long hours, that doesn't mean it's love already. Remember, love is respect, understanding, and of course, commitment. [music] If you put an effort, if you put an adjustment to the relationship, that's love.
>> [music] >> So, of course, also be mindful of the people that you just met. And if you are the type of men that goes above and beyond [music] for that person, if you put an effort, if you put adjustments for her and respect her fully, then I'll think you guys will go a long way and you guys will have a long-term relationship. And it's really possible. So, third point, Traditional versus control. There's a misconception about traditional and controlling. When we say traditional, it's our habits taught to us since we were a kid. And for example, there's this modern cultures and there's tradition in the Philippines that man is the provider in the family. So, let's break that misconception.
Right now, as as the time goes by and >> [music] >> everything is modernized, everything.
Our mindset, our cultures, our values, everything is changing and everything is evolving.
We don't solely focus [music] on the man's money anymore.
Cuz women can really provide. So, it's a mutual care, it's a partnership and a complimentary roles. So, our tradition, our old tradition that man is the provider and the woman is the [music] housewife, does that is not going to work >> [music] >> in this year and the proceeding years, [music] everyone.
So, so let's emphasize the partnership in the relationship.
Let's know our roles and of course, have the mutual care in each other. Fourth point, I'll be talking about Filipina side. So, let's kind of flip the narrative. It's not just the Filipina that wants that kind of man. It's not just men choosing Filipinas. Filipinas also want stability, serious commitment, and of course, loyalty.
Who wouldn't want that, everyone?
So, basically, it takes two to tango. It's not just men going for the Filipina, it's also Filipina going for the men.
So, as I've told you earlier, we also love men that shows big effort in [music] everything. We love men that goes above and beyond, and we love men that is loyal. Not just to you, but of course, to himself. He's loyal to his own beliefs. He's loyal to his own character.
And and he will not get perceived about different kinds of talks, different kinds of egos. He will not get eaten by big egos of himself. So, everyone, it's a mutual alignment, and not a rescue fantasy. So, fifth point, let's now deal with the judgments. First common criticism, it's about money.
It's transactional, and it's about control. Oh my god, everyone, you haven't met a good man, don't you?
You haven't met a really loyal and committed man. That's why you're saying that. That's why you're quick to judge, cuz you haven't experienced it yet. So, there's a lot of foreign men is is really loyal. I have a story.
When I was going to an island, a good island here in the Philippines. I was >> [music] >> once seated with a Filipina. And we had a small talk.
She told me she she she asked me Look at my ring. That's really her first ring.
Look at my ring.
And I said, "Wow." And she told me, "I'm engaged. I'm just engaged." She told me she just engaged. And her Filipina accent was really showing.
Her joyful Filipina moment, the excitement, the love in her eyes is really [music] visible. She showed me her ring. I'm engaged. And the Filipina was seated with the foreign man in the other side of the seat.
And I asked them How many years they were together? And she told me almost 10. So, that's a long long long long years, everyone. It's a long.
And that strike [music] me is that you can really find a good [music] man.
You can really find a really loyal and committed foreign [music] man. But, of course be mindful, [music] everyone. Don't just give out yourselves to anyone because us women is also a gem. We are a diamond.
We should be given an effort. We should be work hard >> [music] >> for.
And, you know, a man should really work hard to get a woman like that.
So, my take on this, outsiders are really quick to judge.
They easily assume cuz they're not in the relationship.
They don't know what's going on in the relationship. So, what actually matters is the consistency, [music] the respect.
And of course, the genuine connection between the two of you.
Cuz a lot of people can talk about your relationship. A lot of people can give opinions about [music] your relationship, but you two have the power to get this off your mind or to feed that opinion on your mind.
So, you should really be mindful.
And people are easily judged of something they don't understand [music] and what they don't have.
So, everyone, people have always found love across cultures, across countries.
So, fly around the world, everyone, and let's see if you'll find your true one. You'll find your true love.
Life is short, so let's travel. Let's look for love and alignment [music] that we all deserve. So, turn this talk.
Finding love abroad doesn't equate to desperation. It can mean clarity, courage. You went further because you know, you don't want to settle. I think that's what you all have to think about.
And that's all you have to know.
So, if you're serious about looking love in the Philippines, you have to do it with intentions. Again, this is Isabel, and please like and subscribe, >> [music] >> and and drop a comments down below if you find this really good, and >> [music] >> you find your woman across the other countries. So, >> [music] >> bye everyone. See you on our next talk.
