Added:Hello. Let's do the New York Times hard sodoku for July 21st, 2026. There's a link in the description if you'd like to try the puzzle yourself. And I'm going to get started right now. Right.
Starting with this two and five.
Uh the two twos look in here. This two helps in a very nice way, causing us to place the two in this box. These two twos look in putting a two in one of these two.
All right, the fives look down. Placing the five in this box. We just filled a box column. Let's look at these other digits to see if any aren't yet placed in the box. We have 2, three, and five.
They're all placed. We are down to four digits, though. So, I'm going to look at this anyway. Uh, we can see the eight looks in, including the eight in one of these two. And so, these are down to 1 47. And unfortunately, these are all of 1478. So, we're not going to pencil those.
The eights do point in here, though, with this eight. This eight looks down.
Puts an eight one of these two. All right, that was the two and the the five vertically. We have the five horizontally with this five. Putting a five in one of these two. All right, let's move on. We have the one here. Two ones look down. Puts a one in one of these three.
