[00:00:00]Yeah, I think Paxton still has to be considered the favorite. He's got baggage to put it mildly, but it's still a Republican-leaning state. Maybe it's not as bright red as it once was, but maybe even a shade of purple, but you still have to look back at that previous race that's often cited, Beto O'Rourke in 2018, when he was the Democratic nominee. He did much better than most other Democrats have done statewide, but he still lost by hundreds of thousands of votes. I think it was 51-48, something like that.

[00:00:31]The Democratic nominee, James Talarico, the state rep, he's going to have to find a way to make that up, and maybe he will with Hispanic voters. Maybe Ken Paxton is so unpopular that he or too politically toxic, but right now I still think you have to say it's Republican-leaning at the very least.
