White House shooter’s ‘Jesus’ claims revealed after security checkpoint shooting

[00:00:00]Um, I want to ask you about the shooting outside of the White House over the weekend. A man opened fire at a security checkpoint and was then shot dead by Secret Service agents. Uh, this dead gunman, here he is. He's been identified as 21-year-old Nia Best. He had a criminal record, a history of mental health issues. Last year, he claimed he was Jesus Christ and that he wanted to get arrested. Uh, look, Hogan, obviously it sounds like this was just a deranged individual attack, but more broadly of where it happened outside of the White House, what does it say about violence in America right now politically?

[00:00:33]>> You know, there's a permission structure the left has created. When you call someone Hitler, the obvious reaction is, well, what's good enough for Hitler?

[00:00:40]Death. And so, you expect these types of things. And as I mentioned before, it's sad. It's definitely dangerous. But this is the what the third the fourth uh attempt to kill Donald Trump at this point. The second time when he was at Mara Lago I was there for a meeting with him and the speaker of the house Mike Johnson myself it was just us two right after the second assassination attempt and I asked him what are you doing? Why are you doing this? He said because no one else will fight back. No one else will will take on the problems we face in this country. It's it's what I kind of have to do. The mentality of someone like that to get shot in the head, stand up and yell fight, fight, fight to continue on another assassination attempt. Then the correspondence dinner.

[00:01:22]I was there for that too. A gunman uh you know firing shots there. And now this an attack at the White House. This is again a stark reminder that there are people out there, some mentally deranged of course that that don't know the difference and and just do crazy things, but some people are hellbent on evil.

[00:01:40]Some people are hellbent on on on on committing these atrocities. And it's one political party in this country that continues to make excuses for them to allow it. You make, you know, heroes out of people who just walk down city streets in New York and shoot a CEO of a healthc care company in broad daylight and that shooter is somehow a paragon of virtue should be praised and heralded.

[00:02:02]It's sickening and we see it all too often and it has to stop.

[00:02:06]>> Yeah. And all it takes is, you know, for one deranged lunatic to see a see it as a call to action every time the Democrats or the left say, "Oh, you know, he's Hitler. He's a fascist." And it just takes somebody not in the right mind to say, "Okay, I'm going to take matters into their own hands." We've seen it time and time.

[00:02:23]>> Yeah. But that's no longer the fringe.

[00:02:25]That is the core of the Democrat party, the core of their messaging, and no one calls them out on it except for, you know, a few of us here on the right.

[00:02:32]Everyone else just makes excuses for it, and I think it's disgusting.

[00:02:36]>> Yeah. No, I'm with you all the way. It is disgusting, especially when people's lives are at risk. It's it's it's a frightening situation. And look, I've got to ask you about an NBC reporter's response. She was filming at the White House at the time of the shooting. But but have a look at this.

[00:02:58]>> Sounds like fire.

[00:03:07]today. But this obviously comes just a couple weeks after a shooting at the White House.

[00:03:13]>> What on earth was that? Typical of the of the leftist media. So lackluster and just confused all around. Hogan, >> well, I know her um and I've worked with her in the past. I've helped her on some stories and I just saw that clip and I thought, "Oh, come on. You don't know those are gunshots. You don't know what's happening out there." just a total disconnect from reality. I've seen some other people in that little area at the White House, it's called Pebble Beach. Everyone has their own little pod from which to do live shots. Everyone else, as soon as they heard the shots were hitting the deck, jumping out of the camera shot trying to comment that there are shots being fired and she just kind of turned around was like, "Well, I don't even know what's going on here."

[00:03:51]It's just a reminder again, these things are very dangerous and it shouldn't be.

[00:03:55]America is a place where democracy and opinions are free and open and they can be challenged and you can aggressively argue things politically, but death, destruction, violence never the answer.

[00:04:08]And so, um, hopefully cooler heads prevail in the future.

[00:04:11]>> Yeah, well said. Uh, now the Secretary of War, Pete Hegsth, uh, he's given a brilliant speech, I think, over the weekend. and he's torn into leaders that he says have tried to turn the military into woke Princeton and stained the American spirit. He was giving a speech to graduating cadets at West Point and Hegth said military leaders who backed diversity programs were sapping the armed forces of its strength. Look, Hogan, at a time when we just spoke about Iran, you got Iran firing up. It's a very uncertain world. Is he right that America needs a strong military, not one driven by DEI? Of course, we need to be feared, loved, and respected on the global stage. And we are now with Donald Trump. We are now with Pete Hexath. He's a friend of mine. Worked with him for a while as well. What he's brought back to the military, too, is a sense of honor, a sense of courage that it it had before, but there were permeations of DEI and wokeness that were really going to kind of undermine the overall uh mission, if you will, of of the the military. and and he has been someone who has called it out, not afraid of it.

[00:05:16]And while the media and the left will kind of mock and deride Pete Hegsef, look at the numbers in the military.

[00:05:22]More people are signing up than ever before. they're meeting all of their signing requirements early early on into the year because it turns out people who want to join the military want to join an organization that has a little bit bit of grit that has some toughness that allow you to succeed and and and gain rank because of things you've done not for something like the color of your skin but because of what you've been able to accomplish regardless of your race religion color or creed Pete Hegsth is someone who wants those folks at at the top of the food chain. It doesn't matter your background. It doesn't matter what you look like. It matters whether or not you can perform. And in the last administration, what we saw was it didn't matter if you could perform or not. They wanted diversity in skin color. They wanted diversity of of attitude, thought, those types of things. That uh sexual sexuality, all those things, they don't work to build a strong military. What you need are people who can perform. And if you are one of those people and you can't perform, Pete Hexath doesn't care. He wants you on the front lines doing the job. It's DEI that controls the military that makes it problematic.

[00:06:33]>> Yeah. I mean, it's not like China are sitting there going, "Oh, well, we better get diversity picks for our military. I mean, they're laughing at leaders around the world who are into DEI for their military." They're saying, "Please keep doing your DEI, you know, please keep going." Now, I had to laugh at this, Hogan. Uh the Democrats, they've released their 2024 autopsy, they're calling it. And surprise, surprise, they're blaming Joe Biden uh for failing to set up Carla Harris for success. Donald Trump posted the Democrats just released an autopsy of their 2024 presidential campaign. Typos and all, but they refused to discuss two very important words. Bad policy. The candidates sleepy Joe and then Carla weren't so hot either. President Trump, look, he's not wrong there, is he? I just love how oh it's easy for them to blame Joe Biden now for the election loss when the warnings were there about his mental capacity for years and they were all ignored.

[00:07:28]>> Absolutely. And listen, you can't sell a bad product. Ask Kla Harris. Democrats, their policies hurt all Americans for four years. And one of the things you do if you're an elected official, that's the most offensive thing to a voter is to tell them what they are experiencing isn't real. Kla Harris and Joe Biden and all the Democrats told us the border was closed. It wasn't. They said crime was down. It wasn't. They told you that the economy was really good and you were actually making more money and you weren't. Those were all lies. And in that autopsy report, what they didn't talk about was the economy.

[00:08:06]They didn't talk about religion, Catholics, evangelicals. They didn't talk about the Make America Healthy Again movement. They didn't mention men and women's sports. They didn't mention podcasts, things that actually went to impact the outcome of that election.

[00:08:21]They didn't talk about at all. There's a reason that most Democrats in this country have panned that report because they realize it is not reality. They lost because they they embraced woke ridiculous bad policy and autopsies, you know, are given to things that are dead.

[00:08:40]I hope the Democrat mentality on woke ideologies dead, but I don't think so.

[00:08:44]In America, it seems like all the signs are pointing toward gravitating more toward those radical ideologies, those radical positions. Doubling down on that and saying if you're not part of the woke, you're not part of this party.

[00:08:58]That's a big mistake. So, it's not just the autopsy. It's what did you learn from it? And it appears the Democrats have learned nothing.

[00:09:06]>> Nope, they haven't. They blatantly lied to America for many years, claiming that Joe Biden was it, that he was in a good way. And yeah, it's frightening that things are moving more towards that radical position because that that's just terrible, terrible for for the world. Before we let you go, Hogan, I've got to ask you about this. Um, federal officials, they've served subpoenas to Marxist political influencer Hassan Per and Code Pink co-founder Susan Ma Benjamin. This is part of an investigation into whether US organizations and leaders violated laws and sanctions by supporting Cuba's communist regime. This report via Fox News digital. What do you make of this development?

[00:09:43]>> Yeah, again, serious serious allegations of course. San [ __ ] he of he of the Cardier communist, if you will, going over to Cuba and uh having to stay at a five-star hotel, of course, because he couldn't be bothered by staying with with real folks who don't have a two nickels to rub together in that in that area. Uh but but he's got all kinds of problems. I mean, the guy's a lunatic.

[00:10:06]He hates Jews. He hates America. He hates MAGA, of course. Hates Republicans. talks about the death of of of everyone from from uh Benjamin Netanyahu to Donald Trump. This guy's a real problem. And again, he is in league with so many Democrats that are in the mainstream. The podcast bros from Barack Obama's administration have had him on and yucked it up. He's been on with other left-wing influencers and and they just have a good old time talking about how much they want to kill everybody. I mean, it's really really scary and dangerous. And so whatever they did in Cuba though, a different different topic of course, but if there's a law broken there, people need to be held accountable. And that's something quite frankly in politics that rarely happens.

[00:10:48]Every once in a while, you'll get some transparency. Donald Trump is unique in that. It gives you 100% transparency.

[00:10:54]The question though is when does the accountability follow and hopefully it follows these two folks soon.
