This Customer Was MAD! Delivery Drivers Vs “Entitled” People.Added:
Could I make this any more plainly clear, Walmart? Please leave the rocks in here. So, here's a wheelbarrow.
I want them to leave the rocks in the wheelbarrow.
But where do they leave them?
The food delivery space is the wild, wild west. The consumers and the entitlement. I'm going to show you this video.
I want to get your reaction cuz it's a mixed bag of I'm on the customer side.
I'm on the driver side.
In the comment section, there's also something I'm going to show you a few comments here of what they're saying.
Because if you do delivery, we understand and you know, if you do this long enough, some of the things that people order blows my mind and also many people have no idea who's actually delivering it.
Welcome back to Mr. Bet on You.
I like to do these reactions to certain TikToks or or videos every maybe once, twice a week cuz it's it's fun. It's fun. I love to laugh, but more importantly, I want to hear from you guys. What kind of experience do you guys have? What's the weirdest thing you've seen? The most upset customer?
The best customer? Let me know in the comment section down below, but also more importantly, after watching this, was the driver in the wrong?
Are you [ __ ] kidding me?
Could I make this any more plainly clear, Walmart? Please leave the rocks in here. So, here's a wheelbarrow.
I want them to leave the rocks in the wheelbarrow.
But where do they leave them?
Right next to the [ __ ] sign.
Please, Lord, help my sanity. Tell me what's wrong with this picture.
Are you [ __ ] >> So, that Karen was not happy. But let's dive a little deeper. You look at the sign, she has a wheelbarrow.
Okay? With a sign, "Please put rocks here."
We're going to talk about the wordage there. Listen, I can appreciate the sign.
I don't know if she had any delivery instructions, that would have been helpful. I can appreciate the sign. It even says Walmart on there. That leads me to believe, you know, she's ordered on the Walmart app. She's probably a plus whatever.
People order all kinds of fertilizer, rocks, big bags of mulch.
Especially in the springtime because they're doing some landscaping and they don't want to get it themselves because, "No, I don't want to get my own car dirty.
I don't want to lift a 50-lb bag of this." Those rocks can be very heavy.
Extremely. You know, I did some landscaping when we moved into this house, oh my god, over 3 years ago.
And I had rocks, white nice rocks, delivered cuz I was doing some things in the front of the yard. And a dump truck came.
And I put tarp down and they emptied, I don't know, probably 1,000 lbs of rocks.
I don't even I can't remember. Into my front yard and then I took it from there. But, it was a dump truck.
Somebody Not a Not a Not a Not one of us, right?
Now, this is different. It looks to be four, five, six pound or four, five bags of rocks. And then the sign, "Walmart, put them in."
We don't work for Walmart, Karen. That's the first mistake. The ignorance is bliss so with consumers. It is what it is, right? Still not her fault. Just giving her some knowledge.
But, what's interesting here is Okay? She puts a sign, "Walmart, please put rocks here." And there's a sign, there's a wheelbarrow.
Now, I don't think the driver's wrong.
Just don't. I think he did exactly what she asked.
Then, "Okay, you want me to put them in the wheelbarrow?" "Sure. I'll follow the instructions. Not a big deal. My job is to deliver it to you. That's where you'd like it. I have no problem doing that.
No problem."
But, it's not what the sign said.
And words are words. What are the you know.
But he put them next to the sign next to the wheelbarrow. It's not like he put them like in the street. He put it exactly where the sign was because this is what I think the driver thought.
Well, you got rocks that are in a bag, right? They probably need to be maybe transported somewhere else, but maybe he's thinking, well, do you want me to put the bags of rocks in the wheelbarrow? But then don't you got to take the bags out again to open up the rocks and get them out. Maybe you're going to cut them and then just do it like that. I don't know. But I think he left them in an appropriate spot.
A lot of comments saying, "Did you tip?"
"But did you tip?" "But did you tip?"
"This is what you get when you don't get a tip." Hey, the guy did his job. He delivered it. Blah blah A lot of the comments are not on her side.
But the Karens and the Kens of the world, their sense of entitlement for having things delivered, and really I blame apps like Walmart and Amazon.
You can get things same day.
The convenience that these that that that these consumers have has never been like this before in the history. Never. It's never been like this. And while a lot of consumers are having a bad experience, a lot of Mother's Day flowers did not get delivered until today.
And it's Mother's Day was yesterday, right? A lot of consumers try to get something delivered, have a bad experience. That's why they don't tip. That's why they go to social media to yell and scream. It's for really first world problems. Here in this country, we have what I call first world problems. This is not a big issue, but she was so upset, and I can appreciate it. She decided to film it and upload it to TikTok because somebody did their job.
And they read the sign and thought, well, if I put these in there, then she might have to take them back out in order to dump them.
Is it really that much to ask a consumer after we just did all that heavy lifting to just put it in the wheelbarrow that's right there?
Some of you are going to say, well, no, he should have put it in the wheelbarrow. He should have done the extra step. It said, please leave them here. Here means right there, where he did it.
He didn't She didn't say leave it in the wheelbarrow.
But, there's a lot of consumers on TikTok, on social media, they just get so mad about their packages not being in the correct spot, not being delivered on time.
It is crazy. And I think a lot of these consumers, whether they're dealing with Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, the whether it's DoorDash, Instacart, um Grubhub, Uber Eats, they get so many things delivered, they are just used to having it and the abundance of convenience.
And the prices that they're paying, they expect top-notch A+ service every time.
And when they don't get it, they're going to get their little phones, go outside, and the time that it took her to film and upload it, she could have picked it up and put it in herself.
But, it's the same kind of customers we did a video, I don't know, about a two three weeks ago, where the lady was mad that the guy drove into her driveway.
This is also the same kind of customer that would be mad that somebody drove in her driveway. She would expect him to be in the street and to take those 50-lb bags and then open them for her, put it in the wheelbarrow, take the wheelbarrow, and then take it all the way to the backyard, and lay the rocks out for her. Why? Because she pays $3.99 and some Walmart Plus prescrip- a subscription.
I'm a Walmart. Don't you work for Walmart? I pay all these fees. Do all this for me. And while you're at it, pool boy, clean my pool for me and mow my lawn.
Some customers just don't get it.
But, I also understand, I think, okay?
While I think the gig economy is booming, there's a lot of opportunity for us, these companies and consumers just really don't know what we're being paid, how we're being treated, and the level of expectation a lot of times does not match the pay.
Because if there's no tip on that, I've seen them on the Roadie app, Walmart, Instacart. People order the most ridiculous things. I had a Home Depot order, I think last week or the week before, 10 bags of mulch, 10 to 15 different types of plants, like big plants.
All kinds of stuff. The order was paying like $12 with zero tip.
That's crazy. But that consumer expects or thinks we we work for Home Depot in some big truck with two or three men or women are going to pop out and unload it.
No. The companies that you are using that you pay a premium or prescription subscription, I always have trouble with that word.
You are paying that, but they're not using they're using us and paying us peanuts.
Lady, we can appreciate the sign, okay?
But he did his job and he did exactly what the sign said.
What do y'all think? Let me know in the comment section down below. Going on TikTok and looking at all these Kens and Karens freak out over delivery and this and that. Sometimes the Dashers and drivers do some bad things.
But two things can be true at the same time.
There are a lot of consumers that just have a false sense of reality and the entitlement is rampant.
She goes to the next video.
>> It won't fit in this house. Why should she what happens next? The problem is that without the doors it's 31. You have exactly 31 on your It'll fit. Exactly, it won't fit.
>> Click click click click. And you know you ain't going to answer your phone to come and get your groceries and help me with all this [ __ ] You know what? I can't I want them to leave the rocks in the wheelbarrow.
But where do they them?
Right next to No, at the time I'm not trying to offend anybody.
>> I didn't You keep jumping to these things.
I was curious to know why you did it. No one else cares. So you're not rebelling against anything. Now you're like If you guys want to see me react to more Tik Toks or viral videos about delivery, leave them in the comment section where I can I find it or you can email me and I would love to do a reaction.
Have a good night.
