Africa's film industry celebrates growth at 12th annual awards

[00:00:03]AMVCA is always a defining moment because there's so much energy to put this year. What is so special is we're taking bold as stories, right? We're going with more nominations. So, we see a lot of nominations across Africa. So, we keep saying AMVCA is not about Nigeria, it's about Africa. We do want to take African story to the globe. And the way we can do that is one of more nominations coming through from the different countries in Africa so that we can authentically tell African story in the continent.
