Tuesday Night LiveAdded:
Like she would just run at me, and her snout is completely covered with straw.
You are strawy.
Hey, Pom Pom.
We should give you a bath so you can come sleep.
>> Yeah, it's been a while since we've given the pigs a bath. Oh, look at that belly.
Hello, everybody.
Oh, yeah. Oh, I love her little foot.
Her foot is the best.
Hey, Pom Pom.
Hello.
What's been going on? How's your knee?
Let's talk about that. Talk about how you fell off a roof and broke your knee.
Did we say that it was broken?
I think we did.
>> we did last time.
>> Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah, like it's I mean, it's like more functional, but also maybe more consistently painful, which I don't know what that means, but it like Me neither.
Like I can bend it most of the way now, like to where I used to be able to or like what this leg does.
But, um Yeah, so I don't know. It's just good.
Like I can >> second belly is being exposed. I can climb ladders better than I could, you know, that's nice. It's a good It's a good touch.
Um It's like you need to use two hands there, like there's clearly two bellies that are being given to you.
Here.
Your knee is really affecting your ability to perform your pig scratching duties. Hey, Tonya.
Hey, Tonya.
Oh, are you bracing yourself on your mom's booty, Charlotte?
>> Michelle Gomez is giving you sympathy for breaking your knee, but don't don't give him too much. He'll He'll run with it. He'll run with it a mile.
>> [laughter] >> But, um but yeah, the chicken/turkey barn that we've been building is like Almost done. Almost done. Like we're dividing the inside into the rooms. And we have kind of like a little medical area uh to do stuff.
Um so it should be really nice once it's done, but it's just been sort of taking so much time and I'm sure my leg's loaded down quite a bit.
Um Jody said going tomorrow for both my knees. You're lucky to be alive. Um That sounds way worse. I hope you did not fall off a roof. Yeah, I know. Um and Michelle Gomez says, "Where is your brace, mister?"
Where is your brace? I thought the doctor was ordering you a special brace.
I I think I have in the kitchen one of my notes saying that I need another 6 weeks of reduced responsibility. Yeah, but he was supposed to order you a brace. Oh, yeah. I need to like call about that.
Yeah, you you need to call about that.
Getting Ryan to follow up with like doctors is just like Yeah.
It's it's the worst.
Are your ears so >> Um I'm I've been feeling better.
>> [laughter] >> So the last time I said, "How am I feeling?" Um yeah, I just I didn't want to be in front of the camera tonight. It was a rough night last night.
It's just I don't know. I heard things about the second trimester that have yet to come to fruition, but we're still in the early stages, so >> [snorts] >> I'm starting to feel like mentally a little bit more clear, which is kind of nice.
So I hear it takes up to 16 weeks for some people to sort of like bounce back from the first trimester, but Yeah. That's true. At this point you're definitely in the second trimester.
>> Early second trimester, yeah. Cuz like >> We did get to hear the baby's heartbeat today. That's true.
She's rocking the heartbeat. Yeah.
I told Aaron our friend Aaron who's doing uh like daily vegan doses of you know, sort of Yeah.
>> information. I told her that we should do like a vegan pregnancy, vegan baby discussion with her sometime.
>> Yeah, we should. Or interview you and Gwen in your belly about, you know, things and talk about it.
>> Yeah.
I can't wait to interview Gwen about like, you know, how she's never eaten an animal.
Like when she's a newborn.
Yeah, as soon as she comes out I'll be like, "How does it feel to be a vegan baby?"
Oh, thank you. Yeah, no, I don't I don't mind sharing. It's It's just a rough It's a rough life right now. This is not Uh well, oh, Alex said my Chihuahua would get along with your pigs, I think.
Well, we did used to have a Chihuahua and she kind of ran the show Yeah. and had total immunity for all behaviors but the pigs, which our other two dogs do not, so I think a Chihuahua would fit right in here. The feeling around like 6 lb is like their limit.
Above 6 lb is fair game, but like other under that, you're good. How much did Pali weigh?
8 lb, I think.
>> 8 lb is okay. Maybe it's 8 lb, cuz yeah.
I mean, she was a little chunker at first, you know.
But But um Uh Jenna and Macy are great. They are just outside right now hanging out. Oh, sleepy yawns.
Yes, she's so sweet. Aw.
We need a little more space in here. A little less belly, more space for dad.
We need to get um our Lightfoot pig shirts made into like newborn onesies and stuff.
>> Mhm.
I don't know why I just thought of that, but I'm pretty sure you can get custom-made ones. Cool.
I mean, yeah, I'm sure they have that on any of the places we print stuff. We'll be out matching, you know.
Hey, Hey, fighting with your sister.
Excuse me.
Ah!
>> [laughter] >> Ah! Why are you blaming him? He bit my arm.
She's blaming you for something. That's a cute love bite. Where are you not blaming me?
It's a cute love bite. She always blames me for um Milly's behaviors. Oh, Tanya, yeah, Otto's doing okay. We'll give you an update on him in just a second. Um Yeah, no, he's he's fine though. Um I mean I mean he's a he's okay enough.
He's he's around the corner. Um so, Charlotte blames me for Milly's bad behavior all the time because for some reason Milly's always like the last to dinner. I don't know why that is, but Charlotte and Pumpkin will come inside and then I I know to brace myself for it. I have to step outside the door because I know Charlotte's going to bite me when I'm feeding her before Milly gets there, which means that when Milly by the time Milly gets there, Charlotte will steal her food and she won't be able to eat. But every single time Charlotte does what she does to you, which is like just a little a little nip.
I was going to say, I've noticed there is like Grandpus Maximus. There's like a Charlotte and Milly I sorry, Charlotte and Pumpkin waiting at the door is dangerous because Edna will come and harass them and like, you know, hit them.
>> And we got to build the ramp on the other side for Pumpkin cuz Pumpkin's got short legs and she can't get off the other side.
playing it smart and they wait for the psycho on the playground to come. Cuz if Oh, really?
with them Edna won't bother them.
She like stays away from Milly, so it's like Milly's like their protection.
Yeah. I've like noticed they don't wait at the door unless Milly's there.
So, Milly's like been my first or second >> Okay.
She's never is one for me. Maybe I do it usually earlier than I than Yeah.
Uh hey, Alina. Hey, Alina.
Yeah, I don't know if we're going to be on too long, but we we're just talking about today and we're going to start trying to go live again every night. Um I'm going to laugh. Oh, speaking of Alina's great love Odin.
They don't really bite that much. They do a lot of bluffing.
Um and a lot of like swiping with their their little tiny tusks that they have, but it there's a lot of like I don't know. What would you say? Like 70% show in like what they do.
Like 30% actual. Well, I mean, yeah.
It's It's like a production. And sort of like none to it where like Charlotte, you know, put her mouth around my arm twice and it's just like she's not going to bite you. Right.
That's what I mean. Like there's a lot of it that's just Yeah. to like get a message across versus actually doing harm. Not that they can't, you know, bite if they so chose, but they don't they don't really choose to bite that much. Um yeah, so Odin is Odin's okay. Like we we need to sit down and have a conversation about what we're going to do with him in terms of like surgery um cuz we're kind of running out of time to decide that. We have 30 days from his MRI.
And he's just in this weird place of like not good enough to seem like he's comfortable, but not bad enough to like make us sure that this major $12,000 surgery is like the thing to do.
Um So yeah, that's kind of what we haven't really had a chance to like put down and sort of figure out um exactly where to go. But he's he's okay.
Like Yeah, he's he's hanging in there. He's not had any bad flare-ups again, so.
Yeah.
Um Like he got >> [clears throat and laughter] >> Alina said okay, I'm in the CVS parking lot. I heard my baby's name.
Odin, Alina loves you.
Where is he? I think he's in the bedroom right now, but he comes if he comes to the gate, I will be sure to let him in.
He like got mad at me.
>> I was giving him his medicine on, you know, my fingertip like like we cover his pills in peanut butter and then he'll eat them.
And um See if Fiona wants to come in. She seems to be peaceful.
>> Why did he uh So um Why did he get mad at you? So as I tried to get his attention and he was like doing something I think and so he like made his growl face, you know, he did like his teeth out at me and I was like, "Okay."
And so then I um put my finger out and he like grabbed me. He just like dragged his teeth on my hand just like full force.
I think he bit on my finger. He never does that with me. Oh.
Um That's expensive. Yes, it is incredibly expensive. Um Oh, do you need to go potty? It's a disc in in his neck that would need to be fixed and so it's got to be done by a neurologist surgeon.
Um So, yeah, that's just a an expensive procedure.
But I mean obviously we want to get it done by somebody who really knows what they're doing and this guy is really good and Yeah.
>> I think it's actually cheaper than the other place. We'd have to cross the border or like fly to the Philippines to have it done, but now that he's old The drive to Mexico.
Yeah.
Um Elena said, "How am I feeling?" She's driving again so she can't text, but she can listen. How's Ryan's knee? Ryan's knee is okay. It's starting to look like my normal knee again.
He said it it's more functional, but hurts more. Yeah. We don't really know what that means.
I don't know. Yeah.
Um I am I've been better in my feelings. I didn't I didn't sleep at all last night, but I've heard by 16 now I keep resetting the goal like or it's like I've heard by 16 weeks you definitely feel better. So but we did get to hear Gwen's heartbeat today.
So I did go to the doctor.
So while we were there they gave us a little listen. They said she's moving a lot too and she was moving the last time when we saw her so It's weird that you'll start feeling her soon.
Yeah, they said by like I was reading by 16 to like 24 weeks or something is when So in a couple of weeks we might start feeling.
But apparently she's dancing in there.
Feel what you call your parasite period.
Thank you Amber Karanjari I guess I'll put Sorry, what did you say? I said you'll finally start feeling your parasite as you call it. My parasite, yeah. Well, I mean honestly being pregnant is kind of like having a parasite like in you. It's like >> [snorts] >> another being. Like and I mean this like in a nice way. I mean we worked, you know, we worked very hard to have her there so she's like, you know, a happy parasite. But it really is like this other living thing that's sort of just like sucking all your resources from you.
Mallory waxing poetically on the miracle of birth.
>> [laughter] >> It is. It's weird.
It's like just a weird process like growing a human.
Like you did for Charlotte.
You grew Charlotte.
>> Pumpkin is Charlotte's biological mom.
Although Pumpkin I I should not even say anything in front of Pumpkin. Like I get upset cuz Ryan I'll say I'm really tired and Ryan will go I am too. And I'm just like [laughter] you see Ryan and something you don't know what tired is but around Pumpkin Pumpkin had how many babies do pigs have at a time? Like between 9 and 12 I think. Like 9 and 20? 9 and 12. Oh and 12, okay. That's still a lot. It's a substantial >> Like I Pumpkin I I apologize. I will never talk about being tired in front of you. Well, I saw like a little bunch or like could be So I can you imagine 12 little Charlottes?
Trying to uh Pumpkin doing her best.
She just laid there and won't Jedi said best thing ever my son's 46 times flies.
Yeah, it does it's a how many days do we have left till Till we >> we meet her?
10 months. I have a timer countdown thingy but I haven't checked it.
>> Thank you for the gift on Tik Tok.
>> It feels like forever still though.
But it's I mean we're already more than a third of the way in so Yeah. you know.
We were talking about how a third of the way is close to a halfway. It's closer to half than you think.
It's closer to half than it is to nothing.
So.
Cuz when you get to two thirds then you're like Almost there pretty much.
>> Yeah.
The home stretch. I'm in the middle.
>> [laughter] >> Charlotte just looks so cozy next to you.
She kind of casually turned as if I'm not to really acknowledge the desire to cuddle up but So the due date is technically like I think the day before Thanksgiving.
Um Why don't they subtract the week that they like say they're going to like I know well they should cuz what they the uh my doctor said that for women of advanced maternal age um and IVF patients they recommend or pretty much always will want to induce at 39 weeks so it's basically like a week before I guess statistically that is like the the least dangerous time or that has the best chances.
So like when the baby's born based on what you just said, they're going to go, "It's your grandchild."
What?
>> Cuz we're so old.
I mean, I think that they'll realize when she comes out of me that that's not the case, but oh, we Midnight's Girl is paying us $9.99 to name the baby Midnight.
I feel like that's a you know, that's a tempting offer of money there, you know.
See if anyone wants to outbid >> [laughter] >> naming We don't really have an official middle name yet, do we? So We sorted it.
Sort of.
She'll be right there with Daddy climbing on the piggies.
Yes. Yes. I feel like she's going to have immunity, you know, like she'll be like a Polly, like our Chihuahua.
And hopefully have immunity or the pigs will teach her >> [laughter] >> quickly.
>> [gasps] >> She's going to learn. That will not be bottom pig. That's the the goal. Oh, oh, Midnight's Girl said I will go all the way up to $16. That is a tempting That is a tempting amount right there. We're going to We're going to think on that, you know. I was like feel like 17 was my threshold.
>> [laughter] >> Consider that. I mean, Midnight's a cool name, you know.
It is. It is.
Although Squirrel, you know, I feel like that's kind of a cute It'd be a cute name for a girl, like little Squirrel.
Oh.
That would be so unique.
You guys are so cuddly.
They are cuddly.
A little pokey. A little pokey with their hair, but All right. I don't mean to be Debbie Downer here, but I need to go back to bed. Yeah.
>> [laughter] >> I'm tired. I'm sorry. We decided we're going to start going live and that if we need to do it for shorter sessions, then we will, but I'm hoping my energy's going to come back eventually cuz I am just like Yeah.
Well, I mean, it's coming back in the fact that like for 8 weeks I'd be like, "Do you want to go live tonight?" And you'd be like, "I can't." That's true. That's true. It is getting a little better.
Yeah.
Feel like there's improvement.
Uh thanks, Tanya. It's great to see you.
Yeah. Aw, Midnight Squirrel said, "Trust me, don't name the squirrel. They will get bullied like I was." And then a crying face.
Aw. I would never bully you for being named squirrel. I think it's a cute name.
I'm so sad.
Well, now you're on posters and you know.
>> Yeah.
Wanted posters.
>> Wanted posters.
>> That's how wanted you are.
>> [laughter] >> That's how badass now, you know.
Really really risen above that time. I feel like we need to introduce our crow theme, we do. Yeah.
Thanks, Jody. All right. Well, we're not going to do the Midwest goodbye, where we drag it out. Um cuz everyone's saying goodbye to us, so um all right. Well, thanks. It was great to see you Midnight Squirrel. And everyone else, thank you so much for hanging out with us and we are going to be back tomorrow. Elena, if you can hear this, we'll see you tomorrow, hopefully. So, have a good night, everybody.
