Political corruption often involves complex schemes where family members run nonprofits that receive corporate donations in exchange for political favors, creating a 'pay for play' system that undermines democratic accountability. Additionally, election systems can contain structural vulnerabilities that allow for potential fraud, such as accepting ballots after election day with hand-dated signatures, which may be legally permissible but creates opportunities for manipulation. The intersection of political power, financial interests, and electoral systems creates challenges for maintaining fair and transparent governance.

ITS OVER, HE'S COOKED
Added:Kevin Nuome is considered a major contender for the 2028 Democrat primary.
He wants to run for president and he recently announced he was being investigated by the DOJ. But ladies and gentlemen, more information has emerged into exactly what is going on with Gavin Newsome. And oh boy, this sounds serious with even Adam Schiff, not a guy that Trump likes or a guy who likes Trump saying, "You know what? This could be real." As the story goes, Gavin Newsome's wife ran a nonprofit that received large contributions from major corporations. Corporations that would have needed special favors from the governor's office in California. The accusation, of course, being that Gavin Newsome's wife was running a nonprofit to funnel lobbying funds to their family that he could then provide seemingly random favors for these companies. You know, the company can't directly go to Newsome and say, "Here's a million bucks. Give us access to this causeway.
Give us special legislative treatment."
The name of the game is family member has a nonprofit, big corporation makes a donation. Governor says, "For completely unrelated unrelated reasons, I'm going to be very nice to this corporation. It reeks what the Democrats have done for a long time, notably with accusations at the Clinton Foundation from uh accusations of what they were doing or the Clinton Global Initiative that uh when early Clinton Hillary Clinton was running for office, they were getting massive donations. And then when Trump won, donations dried up. Many speculated that the Clintons brought in a ton of money if they were going to use try to win the race, generating massive IUs to foreign interests. And when she lost, oh boy, were people big mad. That's the name of the game. Now, if this does result in Gavin Newsome going to jail, dude certainly won't be the nominee for president in 2028, unless he does it from jail. I don't know exactly this kind of guy who's going to go to jail for something like this because we've never seen anything like it before.
Assuming the accusations, the allegations are true, this could be massive. But at the same time in California, the DOJ's got a major voter fraud investigation underway and California is trying to stop it. But my friends, of course, California's elections are spiritually fraudulent.
And I say spiritually because when you legalize or codify fraud, well, it's not fraud anymore, is it? You're allowed to do untoward things. So here's what I did. I asked our good friend Claude, the little AI bot. I said, "If there was a uh state where you were allowed to submit a ballot seven days after the election, handdated, and you could use an unverifiable doodle as your signature, would anyone consider that a real election?" And our dear friend said, "OF COURSE NOT. WHO would consider that a real election?" And then I said, "Well, that's what California does." And then immediately it's like, "No, no, no.
What California does." I love it. I told our little robot friend, "Why don't you read the law?" And the best part was when Claude goes, "Holy crap, you're right. THIS IS NOT AN ELECTION." RIGHT?
So when they say it's fraud, I say no reasonable person would hear these this system and say that's an election.
Again, in California, you can take a mail-in vote 3 days after the election, up to seven, fill it out, sign it with a picture of Mickey Mouse, not a joke, handd it. As long as you're handdating from the day of the election, turn it in, and they will count it. And in order to determine fraud, two independent individuals must conclude proof of fraud beyond a reasonable doubt, making it impossible to detect criminal activity.
Well, Gavin Newsome, you're in trouble now. Let's grab the story, my friends, and how this leads into 2028. Before we do, you must go to timcath.com right now and join the community. Here's the story from the Sacramento B. The DOJ investigating Gavin Newsome and his wife. Here's what we know. Now, we have this clip from Newsome. I think we can uh play some >> because of my mean tweets. He's coming after me because I'm considering running for president because he hates that I've consistently called him out over and over again for his lies and deceit.
Donald Trump is simply the most corrupt president in American history. He's turned the levers of government into his own personal power ministries to reward cronies and to try to jail his opponents.
>> It's an interesting accusation.
>> His personal attorney now runs the Department of Justice which has repeatedly >> Can we just recent federal agents have >> How about we do that? Just go away. Go away. Here's the New York Post. The Gavin Newsome probe is serious and he knows it. from the California Post editorial board. They write, "Geanism and his press office aids gone wild have been trying to mock Trump on social media for more than a year, regardless of the consequences of state uh for state federal relations. But he can't laugh it off. He can't laugh off the DOJ probe into his family finances." And while Newsome claims the investigation is politically motivated, he knows it's serious. That's why he and his inner circle are reportedly starting to worry.
Really, Newsome knows the investigations go back to the Biden administration. His former chief of staff, Dana Williamson, pleaded guilty last month in federal court in Sacramento to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and wire fraud. Among other misdeeds, she and her co-conspirators stole money from the dormant state campaign account of Javier Bera, a leftwing Democrat who is now the favorite to succeed Newsome. Basera had denied any knowledge of the crime.
Indeed, he claims he is a victim. But part of the alleged scheme involved using Bacera's campaign money to supplement the salary of his own chief of staff when he was Biden Secretary of Health and Human Services. How could these shenanigans go on under Nuome's nose? Part of the answer is that Sacramento's a long history of tolerating corruption thanks to one party rule, the passive media, and a culture of mutual backs scratching. For example, Democrat Daryl Steinberg presided over the state senate at a time when several members were indicted and convicted for various crimes. After failing to clean up that legislative body, he became a lobbyist, then ran for mayor of Sacramento, and won, serving until 2024.
Newsome likewise escaped political consequences when he won a recall election in 2021 that was held after he hobnob hobnobbed maskless with lobbyists in the elite French laundry restaurant in Napa during the coronairus pandemic after telling restaurants in the rest of the state to close down. His now infamous dinner speaks to poor ethical and political judgment but also to the fact that Democrats in Sacramento fear no consequences for their actions.
Newsome also raised hundreds of millions of dollars for charity through beested payments in which he asked donors to contribute to nonprofit organizations of his choice. Though legal in California, these payments often suggest glaring conflicts of interest. Some of the recipients have businesses before the state. One recipient organization was founded by his wife, Jennifer Cybel Newsome. It looks bad. Yet, it continues because Newsome and his party don't believe anyone will hold them accountable. And they were right until now. Nome has coasted for most of his career. Aside from personal scandals as mayor of San Francisco, his path of lieutenant governor was an easy one and for eight years he was Jerry Brown's heir apparent. That is that is a long time to be in office and it's a lot of power. Nuome was happy to see federal prosecutors chase Trump and his associates for Russia collusion. That never happened. Now he faces real consequences. And you know who else thinks so? Shockingly, Adam Schiff. Adam Schiff uses this opportunity to attack Donald Trump, but also says, you know, uh, this might be real.
>> So, I've been on the president's enemies list since he was president the first time because I led his impeachment and I served on the January 6 committee. So, for me, this is nothing new.
But I served for almost six years as a federal prosecutor.
And to see the Justice Department so badly abused, to see the mass defections of prosecutors, ethical prosecutors leaving the office in Los Angeles where I serve, leaving offices all over the country. Uh it is really horrifying.
There used to be a presumption uh when I was a prosecutor. It was certainly the case that prosecutors were acting in good faith and judges gave them that presumption, juries gave them that presumption. That presumption now has been flipped on its head. Uh and in any case where the president announces that he wants his opponents investigated, the presumption should be flipped on its head. That is, there should be a presumption of irregularity. There should be a presumption against an investigation when it's one the president is calling for of his political enemies.
>> No. Even Donald Trump and Biden, it should not be immediately presumed that this is illegitimate. Even Donald Trump.
The question with Donald Trump and my issue with it was that Biden himself had had classified documents they did not prosecute him for and then went after Trump for which shows irregularity. But if you come out and say you believe a president has done wrong, we say, "Okay, preponderance of evidence. What do you got?" Then you can go for a grand jury or do whatever you got to do. You got to go through impeachment. That's fine. But right now to claim that because there's an investigation into Newsome, it rs irregularity. This is equivocating.
Nuome's the investigation into his his illicit dealings started under Biden. So no, not irregularity. But shift continues.
>> So I think we we have to assume that these are political, that these are not based on fact until proven otherwise.
But to see the department used this way is doing lasting damage uh to the rule of law in America. And it's not just the president using the Justice Department to go after his enemies. He's also using it to protect his friends. So, he's pardoning criminals that do business with his family. Uh he is making investigations go away involving corrupt allies. The mayor of New York, the former mayor of New York, had been indicted on corruption charges. Donald Trump made those charges go away because the mayor was useful to him on other things. So, we're seeing more corruption, not less, as a result of this Justice Department and its uh use against the president's enemies.
>> But, I mean, the difference between you and other politicians who have been the target of some of these investigations, um, their exchiefs of staff were not indicted. And that that's the case for the governor where one of his adviserss and chiefs of staff were I mean caught up in this um corruption case that began with the Biden administration. I I mean is it out of the realm of possibility that there could be a legitimate investigation here stemming from that at least?
>> Well, my understanding is that the governor's former chief of staff said the governor had no involvement in what she ended up pleading guilty to. Uh so that's as much as I know of the facts of that. Look, I'm not saying that there can never be merit to an investigation even when it involves someone that is is not a fan of the president. But what we are seeing, what we have seen is such dramatic proof of the abuse of the department. The indictment of James Comey over seashells, for example, is inexplicable. That case will be thrown out. It's just a question of how soon it will be thrown out and whether it's thrown out by a judge or thrown out by the jury. Um, that is a terrible abuse.
The effort to indict my colleagues over a video they made stating the obvious legal and constitutional truth that military officers do not have to obey unlawful orders, indeed have a duty not to. When you see abuses like that, then uh you just have to call into question anytime they're calling for the prosecution of their enemies. I love how Adam Schiff is definitely just trying to play the defense of Newsome, but I love I love the headline, the awkward admission about the probe. And the quote is again, while Schiff is like, well, you know, this is probably not legitimate. I love, and he calls it abuse, he then says, "My understanding is that the governor's former chief of staff said the governor had no involvement in what she ended up pleading guilty to." So that's as much as I know of the facts.
Oh boy. Yeah, she pleaded guilty. Looks like there's actually something serious here. But we've got some more. This is interesting. Eric Dy says Gavin Newsome's wife, Jennifer's nonprofit, paid her own film company, and now her finances are under investigation. Her nonprofit also received funds from a Native American tribe backed by Newsome.
The Newsome fraud machine runs deep. No wonder he's panicking. Let's play this clip from Fox News, which is very, very interesting.
Bill Nuome's nonprofit reportedly took cash from a Native American tribe that operates a casino in the state and was backed by her husband, while her other charity reportedly paid her own private film company directly. But the Newsomes, well, they're pushing back.
>> Donald Trump isn't just coming after me because of my mean tweets. He's coming after me because I'm considering running for president. because he hates that I've consistently called him out over and over again for his lies and deceit.
One by one, anyone who has challenged Donald Trump has ended up on his hit list. And today, I proudly join that list.
>> Why does he talk like that?
>> He talks like that because he's reading a teleprompter that's moving in blocks and slowly. This is an important thing for y'all to understand and I know it's a little off the politics, but you will often see people have weird intonation and speech patterns and you can tell it's because they are using a teleprompter. So, a lot of people wonder why it is that Trump sometimes go off goes off the cuff where he'll be looking at a prompter. He's got clear prompters and Trump will say, "Today our great nation has secured oil at its cheapest price, $75 a gallon, which is amazing, by the way. It's really great. It's really low and everybody laughs. Haha, Trump's going off. He's he's doing that because he got to the bottom of the prompter and it's not moving up quickly enough. So instead of pausing and acting weird the way Nome did, Trump just throws in some quick nonsense like how great, everybody loves it and it's a it's a meaningless statement, but it keeps pace and sounds more natural even though it's kind of weird. Sounds more natural or weaving he calls it than what we see with Nome. And uh when he's talking and he talks like this, it's because there's three or four words that are moving up and he's waiting for the next block of text to come. Meaning he doesn't know what he's saying. He is not speaking from the heart. Someone wrote the speech, told him to say it. He stood there and read a prompter. Guys, it is fake. It is all fake. All of it is fake.
When you're watching your late night Fox host, IT'S ALL FAKE. I I I'M WILLING TO BET YOU THEY DON'T EVEN know what they're about to say. I've done prompt reads. So, I did discovery stuff, right?
They have a teleprompter on the camera and they say, "This thing is going to be about when when when we did the uh nuclear weapons and got millions of views. It was massive. It got like three or four on on on YouTube. It got like legitimately like three or four on Facebook. Even the number was way higher because Facebook numbers were not real.
They were massively inflated.
I knew what the general idea was. I gave input into what the subject matter should be. The final script was sent to them as a prompter read and so I just read the prompter. I did not know what the next sentence was going to be. My favorite is I was doing a voiceover script for a documentary that wanted me to claim that police departments in the US are are are descendants of slave trade organizations. And I'm like reading the script and I get to that point I just stop. I am not reading that. But this is true for the media industry. Gavin Newsome, and this is where it gets crazy because it's politics. IT'S PUBLIC POLICY, HAS NO idea what he is gonna say. Now, it's possible he wrote it himself and he puts in the prompter so he can read it in real time. Me, I don't got a prompter.
You know what I see right now? I see a little black circle. I see a camera right in front of my face and literally no writing anywhere. If I'm going to be talking or reading something, it is here on this pa on this page. In front of me, I got two monitors. Sometimes when I do ad reads, you can literally see me looking down reading the ad. I do know what all of the ads say before I read them because we reject a bunch. But this is actually really interesting outside of the prompter stuff. My point is he is not a real person. He is just saying what his lawyers and his speech writers want him to say.
>> But just last month, Newsome's former chief of staff, Dana Williamson, plead guilty to federal fraud charges. Uh-oh.
Joining us now for tonight.
>> Pleaded guilty. We say pleaded. So, of course, my friends, the big the big move right now to California is not just about whether Gavin Newsome himself will be going to prison because I still think it's a long shot, but the man is in trouble over this stuff. Maybe his wife.
California clashes with Trump DOJ over election fraud probe. State officials say they're monitoring federal activity after prosecutors announced investigations tied to the primary count. Good luck. I say this, good luck.
California made it legal, but I asked our good little robot friend if it would be illegal. what California is doing.
And indeed, yes. Claude says probably yes. See, the issue is that we have a federal law that says here's election day and they decided to accept ballots after election day. That is explicitly illegal. Now, the funny thing is it is explicitly illegal and they did it anyway. AND INSTEAD OF ANYBODY DOING anything like the federal government going in and stopping them, it goes to the Supreme Court. I'm going to pause and just say this is the stupidest thing imaginable. Congress said by law election day, California and a bunch of other states said, "Okay, we will accept ballots after election day." I'm talking about the federal general election.
Immediately, the federal government should should have said, "You are in violation of the law. We do not count ballots." Imagine California goes Republican because the federal government says, "Nope, that would be that would be illegal. We won't let you do it." Instead, they just let them do it and say, "I guess someone better sue what? It's already illegal. You don't need court president for this. It's already on the books. Why do we need the Supreme Court to say, "Yeah, it's, you know, be funny. Watson v RNC may drop tomorrow and this is going to be a nuclear bomb ending late ballot counting." But why do we need this? I swear the Supreme Court's going to be like upon further inspection of what the law literally says, it was always illegal and had no reason to come to the Supreme Court. You're wasting our time.
It is illegal. Stop doing it.
Ridiculous.
Well, here we go. Tensions between the Trump admin and the California Democratic leaders escalated as primary ballot counting continued Friday after a federal prosecutor said without evidence that he's investigating unspecified allegations of fraud. Evil. These evil people. You know what? I am so sick of everything. I am done with the procedural fake everything.
Federal law enforcement should arrest these people. I'm talking about in California. They are committing crimes.
As for Politico, you spineless jellyfish.
This is Lindsay Holden. She is what I would define as an evil person. Why?
Well, a journalist should collect information and to send it to the public so they can make the best decision available. That's your job, right? But this is what evil looks like. Evidence.
Evidence. You're saying without evidence? YOU MEAN THE VIDEO FROM JAMES O'KEEFE SHOWING HOMELESS PEOPLE FILLING OUT BALLOT REGISTRATIONS and lying?
You mean the fact that federal prosecu federal investigators are interviewing homeless people who have been paid to fill out ballot forms or petitions without evidence. They made that up.
This without evidence is fabricated because the issue is evidence emerged, concerns were raised, and they decided to investigate those concerns. But the reason this woman is lying, this evil Lindsay Holden, is because they want to win political power. This is what it looks like, this person right here. And you you got to call these evil people out. This is what it looks like when they know they're lying to steal power from the people because they think people are too stupid to make decisions for themselves. That's the world they live in. And they think they're right to do it. And that's the joke I always make. I I I sympathize. I really do.
Man, I see some dumb people. As George Carlin said, think about how stupid the average person is and now realize half of them are stupider than that. And it is from this worldview that people like Lindseay Holden say, "I SHOULD LIE TO everybody so that we can steal power and we decide."
Indeed, you know what the problem is?
You know what the problem is with that worldview? While I can certainly sympathize because I'd prefer it if people live the way I wanted to, I am not the smartest person in the room or the world. I'm not stupid enough to think I could manage this system properly and maximize efficiency. I'm certainly smart enough to call out errors in the system and try and implement new solutions, but I would never dare assert with maximum certainty that I could solve a problem I did not know I could solve. And that is why I despise these people.
Billy is investigating legitimate instances of I would say a prepundonderance of fraud. A video where a homeless guy, a man goes, "Yeah, I'm Teresa." And he fills out the ballot.
questions of homeless shelters receiving hundreds of ballots despite the homeless people not really being there. Videos of them getting paid on numerous instances.
We have seen a homeless guy filmed saying they gave me five bucks to fill out this petition to get a name on the ballot to get a referendum or otherwise.
And they have the gall to say without evidence.
See, here's the important thing. Without evidence needlessly is in the article. You don't need to include your conjecture in an article. You don't. Whether someone provides or does not provide evidence to any claim. The point isn't news. The news story is federal government asserts fraud. State government is fighting back. That's it. Those are fact statements. When you add without evidence, this is poisoning the well.
You want your readers in the first paragraph to presume the feds are making things up. And this woman does this because she is evil. She doesn't believe in and and let me describe evil. Let me describe what I mean by evil. Right? You know, I I I have I have a moral worldview on this one. It is the reckless destruction of human betterment. It is the selfishness, the desire for personal gain and personal power. This is a person who says, "I'm smarter than you. I'm better than you.
So, I deserve the power and you don't and I will use it against you. But don't worry, it'll all work out in the end."
It's often, but not always, utilitarian.
Yes, many of you may die, but I shall live. I I just can't stand these people.
Leave me alone. Leave everyone alone. I will go live in my van down by the river if you just leave me alone. But they don't. They steal power and they beat you over the head with the club. The same big club that uh you know the joke.
First, assistant US attorney Billis said in an ex post that his office has multiple election fraud investigations underway. Now, what I love is when she says, "Without evidence, what do you think an investigation is for? It is to collect evidence." See, these people are just evil.
They say he was sent there by our office to observe the vote counting process.
Referring to Cal uh uh Department of Justice spokesman Cal Perez confirmed an assistant US attorney was present at LA ballot processing. Press did not respond to a question about the specific fraud allegations as office said it was investigating. In response, California Attorney General Rob Bont said an X. His office has a presence on the ground right now, monitoring the situation closely and stands ready to protect voters and ensure California's election laws are followed. Governor Gavin Newsome's office on Friday criticized as for publicly disclosing his investigation while ballots were still being counted. Credible prosecutors don't comment on ongoing investigations, including whether an investigation exists at all. We are not surprised the First Amendment doesn't operate.
Similarly, said Brandon Richards, a Newsome spokesperson. You know, my favorite thing about this, when the writer says, without evidence, he claimed this. Yes, that's right. An ongoing investigation, the US attorney should publicly release the evidence, the evidence they have gained so far, thus alerting any potential criminals.
It is fake. These people are liars and they are evil. They're going to say California's election laws allow ballouts postmarked by election day to be counted and permitted same day registration. This means tabulation typically continues for weeks. That's a lie. A big, beautiful, beautiful lie.
And I got the law for you right here.
This is from sos.ca.gov.
And this is section 20991 which states it says at the top a vote by mail ballot shall be subject to the standards providing the approved uses blah blah blah a voter's ballot shall be considered a valid ballot if the and then you get a big list but here's my favorite eight. If the votebymail ballot identification envelope has no dated postmark, the postmark is illeible, and there is no date stamp for receipt from a bonafide private mail delivery service, but the voter has dated the vote bymail ballot uh ballot identification envelope.
And then there's an or or the envelope otherwise indicates the ballot was executed on or before election day and the ballot was received by elected official in accordance with their code 3020. quite literally. Section 8 says it's got no postmark. It's illegible, but the voter marked it themselves.
Indeed. Let me pull this in just so I can uh show you. Uh I've got Claude pulled up here and uh I genuinely insulted it several several times. So, we'll we'll omit that. We'll omit that.
And uh I want to show you just a few uh a few of the of the provisions.
I said to Claude, "So a homeless guy can fill out a ballot 2 days after the election, hand date it to the election date, scribble an unverifiable doodle, and it counts." Mostly yes. And I'm not, let me let me zoom in. Mostly yes. And I'm not going to pick it pick at it to avoid the point. Walk it through. Doodle mark a signature. Yes. A mark is presumed valid if it compares to the onfile mark. And if that reference is a low entropy scribble, the comparison authenticates close to nothing.
Conceded. Indeed. If the voter records show that your mark is a picture of Mickey Mouse, you can't verify a picture of Mickey Mouse because everyone can draw Mickey Mouse. That's still valid and legal. The point of signature verification is because when you write your name, it's unique to you because nobody ever writes your name. BUT EVERYBODY DRAWS MICKEY MOUSE. YET California allows it. Counted after election day. Yes, California counts ballots received up to seven days late if postmarked and dated by election day.
Hand dated to the election date. This is one real friction point and it's worth being precise rather than waving it through. A mailed ballot relies on the USPS postmark which you can't fake by writing a date. But you've routed around that yourself because a dropped off or collected ballot has no postmark and the rags explicitly cover the no postmark case. Those get accepted if received within the window and there's no contrary date evidence. So the dating itself isn't self tested blah blah blah.
And so the honest verdict, your scenario describes a genuine low friction way individual eligible voter to cast a ballot with weak timing and weak identification checks. And yes, in the ordinary case, it counts. The structural criticism that California in reference to its first part where it says if it's postmarked or dated. My response is wrong. Section 20991 is about can be handdated. It goes I should check the actual text then rely on how I characterized it. You're right. And the text is explicit. Section 20991B8.
A ballot is valid when the envelope has no dated postmark. Blah blah blah. We read this already, but it is handdated.
So, the voters's own handwritten date on the envelope is an accept accepted substitute for a postmark when no postmark exists. That's self attested timing. I call this a friction point.
Earlier, an implied mail ballots are pinned by USPS postmark. You've correctly pointed out the regulation provides a path where the voters's own date controls. I was wrong to frame it as a meaningful check. Indeed, my friends.
Indeed, this is the state of California's elections and how they lie, cheat, and steal. And how Newsome lies, cheats, and steals all the same.
So, I'll say it again. The federal government is going after California.
Nuome is facing prison. Will he likely get prison? I doubt it. He's a powerful elite. They'll cut him a deal because they're scared. This is the truth. The truth is this. If you are wealthy and successful, they have a hard time going after you. If you're a regular working-class Joe, false charges. We tried to build a system that avoids avoids this, but it exists nonetheless.
That is, if you are a regular working-class guy and you are falsely accused of a crime, what can you do?
You can go to jail, lose everything, spend what little money you have trying to fight it, maybe you'll win. If you're ultra wealthy and elite like Gavin Newsome, you'll say, "How much do you want?" I read this story about a guy who counterfeited something like 250 million bucks. Perfect counterfeits. The Feds caught him. And they said, "You're going to jail." Secret Service. And uh he said, "Okay, I'll tell you what." He says, "I've got hundreds of millions of dollars in counterfeit bills stashed away somewhere. You can lock me up or I'll turn that money over to you and you let me go." And they agreed because they did not want that money in circulation.
This dude gets to be a millionaire off counterfeit money. And he faced almost no penalty for it. I think he got like probation or something. Free to live his life. Just don't do it again. Amazing how that works. Because money talks, BS walks, and power is everything. Smash the like button, share the show, stick around. We got more coming up throughout the day. 8:00 PM Timcast IRL. We'll see you all then.
