>> Surface tension. What does it do? It pulls the surface of a blob inward.
Almost like the blob is constantly trying to hold itself together. [music] >> So when two blobs touch, >> surface tension pulls them [music] into one bigger blob. That is why they keep joining together.
>> Exactly. And bigger [music] blobs are easier to keep together.
>> Yes, that is why the giant blobs keep growing. [music] >> Wait, look over there.
[music] The biggest mergers always start in crowded places.
>> You're right. So, what do we do? [music] >> We spread the blobs apart.
>> That's it.
>> If they stop touching, [music] they stop merging. Exactly.

The flower returns.

>> The more we move, the worse it gets.

But why is it sticking?
I think the glowing dust is getting charged. [music] >> Charging us like tiny invisible [music] electricity.
>> Exactly. This is static electricity.
Static electricity makes dust [music] stick.
>> Yes. When things rub together, they can get tiny invisible charges.
>> So, our spinning and shaking created these tiny invisible charges.
>> Yes. [music] The charges pull the tiny dust pieces towards you.
>> That is why the dust sticks instead of floating away.
>> Exactly. Then we need to stop spinning and shaking.
>> Yes. We need to move very very carefully without shaking.
>> Good plan.
>> This is how we should move.
>> Everyone follow Moon.
>> Small movements. Very small movements.

[music] >> Some dust is leaving. The tiny invisible charges are weakening. Slow movement is helping.

>> Those bubbles are evil.
>> If this [music] spreads further, the whole solar system will overheat.
>> Why is the solar system full of glowing bubbles?
>> [laughter] >> Omsum, save me before I become soup.

>> The bubbles are trapping heat.
>> How? [music] Sunlight enters easily, but the heat cannot escape.
>> So the bubbles are acting like giant ovens.
>> Exactly. [music] The trapped heat keeps building. And I am the pizza.
So, how do we stop them?
We do not pop them.
>> Oh, man.
We slowly release the heat.
>> Slowly. [music] >> If heat escapes gently, the bubbles will shrink safely. But how?

>> Small openings let heat [music] escape slowly.
