The Power of Optimism For Your KidsAdded:
I think one of the things that our kids really need these days is optimism. You know, if we're talking about 50% of kids are feeling down and feeling a loss of hope of things, we got to cultivate optimism in our kids. My father-in-law would have a saying. He would be like, "Something's good's going to happen."
And he would just say it out of nowhere.
Like we'd be driving along and all and it would be quiet and all of a sudden he's like, "Something good is going to happen." Optimism creates a protective barrier for our mental health. Optimism.
With such a mental health crisis and a constant state of anxiety and all these things, one of the things is going to be a primary thing for your kids uh in order to combat all that stuff is optimism. So, we need to cultivate it.
