[00:00:10]>> On December 17th, 2024, officers in Libertyville, Illinois, attempted to stop a 30-year-old woman accused of speeding after radar allegedly showed her driving 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.

[00:00:24]Authorities said she continued driving for several hundred feet before pulling into a driveway and refusing commands to remain inside the vehicle. Investigators said she then ran toward a garage and allegedly tried to close the garage door while officers attempted to detain her.

[00:00:40]During the encounter, prosecutors said she struck an officer in the arm and continued resisting before being taken into custody.

[00:08:53]And on March 24th, 2025, she received 12 months of supervised court supervision on a DUI related charge through a negotiated plea along with fines, fees, 100 hours of public service, drug and alcohol restrictions, no cannabis use, evaluation, and program attendance.
