You Won’t Believe This Mothers Reaction! - The Story of Thea WilsonAdded:
A health visitor said she was bright and alert, but Thea died 19 days after she was born. There was evidence the baby had been gripped and shaken. She suffered unservivable whiplash and head injuries more typically seen following a motorcycle accident.
[music] [music] >> [music] [music] >> Welcome or welcome back and thanks for being here. I'm Cassie and this is a Wicked World. The story I have for you today is about a 19day old little girl who was brutally murdered by her own mother. her mother who didn't even seem to want her in the first place. This is the story of Thea Wilson.
Thea June Wilson was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 25th, 2023 to her mother Nicole Blaine and her father Ross Wilson. She also had two older sisters.
Sadly, nothing else is known about the little girl as she passed away at less than 3 weeks old.
Thea's parents had been in a relationship, but broke up shortly after Nicole found out she was pregnant. At the time of her birth, Thea's father, Ross, was said to be in jail, but his family still remained an active part of the infant's life. On July 8th, 2023, Laura Wilson, Thea's paternal grandmother, went to visit the newborn.
And before she left, Nicole promised that she would bring the infant to see her again. This time to her house on July 14th. But when that day came, around 2 p.m., Laura's husband, Allan, answered a phone call on her cell phone from Nicole. During the call, he could hear extremely loud and piercing cries.
At first, he thought it was one of Nicole's older children, but then he realized that it was newborn Thea.
Nicole mumbled into the phone that she didn't know what to do. Allan didn't think she sounded right, so he told her to hang up and call an ambulance. When Laura then got on the phone with Nicole, the mother told her that she had found Thea on the floor with no clothes or diaper on and a bump on her head. Upon hearing this, the grandmother rushed to meet Nicole and Thea at a hospital in Glasgow. She asked Nicole what happened to Thea and she was told that she had woken up to find the little girl out of her crib and on the floor. Nicole claimed that her older daughter, who was 3 years old and nonverbal, had inflicted the injuries on the newborn. Nicole would give the same story to a social worker who arrived at the hospital later on that another child had hurt Thea. She additionally told the worker that she didn't know if she could ever forgive her three-year-old daughter. Though later on, Nicole claimed that the older child didn't know what she was doing and merely thought that Thea was a baby doll. Now, doctors would discover that the 19-day old infant had severe non-acal head trauma. She had bruising and swelling all over her head, skull fractures, brain damage, bleeding behind her eyes, scratches on her body, and injuries to her ribs that were consistent with her chest being pressed.
Thea's neck was also hurt, which looked to have been from forceful back and forth movement. Her head trauma was suspected to have been caused by her being repeatedly smacked on a hard surface. The baby's injuries were catastrophic.
One medic described them as being similar to those suffered by a car crash victim. Despite doctor's best efforts to save her, little Thea was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. Following her death, Nicole began uploading videos to her social media about her daughter. She spoke about missing Thea and described her death as an unexpected tragedy.
This is an unexpected tragedy that's happened. Um, I can't even talk. I need pause.
I've tried to record this so many times and I just don't know what to say. I don't know what to say.
Nothing in the world's going to bring my baby back.
Right now, I'm in the right place getting the support I need or else I'll be up there where I've got two other we girls that need their mom and everybody keeps telling me I'm so strong and everything else, but right now I don't feel it. Right now, all I want is my baby. And I know that I'm not going to ever get that back.
Losing my weight loss is the worst thing I've ever gone through in my life.
And if you're a parent that's lost a kid and you've get through it, then I take my heart off to you because I don't know when I'm going to get through it. And I really don't see a light at the end tunnel for me.
I really don't.
It's been over a week now. It feels as if it only happened last night.
I just need to lay her arrest.
I need to lay my baby arrest.
I saw her one day. Nicole's viewers were growing more and more suspicious that she actually had something to do with Thea's death. So, she was trying to convince them that she was a loving mother that would never have hurt her baby girl. Nicole told people that they could contact her directly if they wanted to find out what really happened to Thea. need anybody else to speak on the matters. But anyway, we're going to leave it here. And if anybody's got any questions regarding my daughter's past, anything at all, then don't go and speak about it in the community. Come to me or mother and I'll tell you. Simple.
>> People were calling her out for not even crying following Thea's death, but in her mind, she was a good mother. I suppose there's a lot of questions a lot of people are asking.
I can't speak too much on this case because it's still been investigated.
They still I've not been found guilty of anything.
People are asking how she not crying, how she not doing this, how she not doing that. Um my body's in total shock.
But you just don't know what I seen that morning.
You just don't know that I held that we baby for 5 hours until she took her very last breath in my my arms and in her mom's arms.
You all think that I murdered my baby.
There's people on here that are still on lives and they're talking about me. And listen, I'm not allowed to contact these people, but they can sit on here and talk about me. It's horrific. It's horrible.
You just try living like me. Oh, I was was a mom and a very good one. And there's a lot of jealous jealous jealous on here right now. In a later Tik Tok post, Nicole said that she had been advised to pamper herself. And she speaks about going to a sunbed and getting her nails done. She also told her viewers that she was sleeping alongside her daughter's belongings that she was going to place inside her coffin. Nicole even began asking her followers for money to help pay for Thea's funeral. And she launched a fundraiser which ended up collecting £1,200.
However, the page was later suspended.
>> I write my last video that I posted saying I don't want any help. That still stands. I don't want any help. But my friends came to see me day and we spoke about what I want for fierce funeral and I want a horse and carriage. Um I know it takes a we bit of money and they wanted to make a goofund me to relieve the stress of that. So um the GoFundMe that has been made if people want to donate and they can be grateful and name money will be reaching my hands. It will be getting paid directly to funeral directors and purely for the horse and carriage for Thea's funeral.
Soon Tik Tok videos that Nicole had made prior to Thea's birth began to surface.
In one, she expresses her feelings about the thought of having another girl.
Then there was the video that was taken of Nicole during her gender reveal for Thea. In it, the soon-to-be mother looks irritated and angrily stabs a balloon with a knife. When it pops and reveals that she's going to be having another girl, Nicole angrily storms out of the room.
This video is so disturbing. Nobody should ever be that upset about their baby's gender. Such a big red flag. It's said that as more and more people began to speak out against Nicole online, she became more and more defensive and even tried to accuse other mothers who had lost their children of killing them. But it wouldn't be until May of 2025 that Nicole was finally charged with her own daughter's murder. Prosecutors stated that she had repeatedly shaken little Thea and inflicted blunt force trauma on her through unknown means which caused injuries so severe they were unservivable.
Nicole pleaded not guilty.
Following this, Nicole's family would bail her out. So, while she was awaiting trial, she was allowed to walk free. But just weeks later, angry protesters mobbed her house, calling for her to leave the area. It wasn't long until the authorities were called into the scene, and they escorted Nicole from her home and led her to a police van. As she left the residence, the trashy mother gave the crowd her middle finger.
>> Come back.
>> Straight to the back of the van. THERE YOU GO. YEAH, DYING [ __ ] [ __ ] DUCKY [ __ ] HERE. JUSTICE.
>> In April of 2026, Nicole Blaine would go to trial. And lo and behold, it seemed the scumbag was expecting another child.
Nicole's defense told the court that she had been napping when her older daughter pulled Thea out of her crib, removed her nappy and blankets, then fatally injured her, and left her in the doorway of the bedroom. The mother insisted that she had slept through the entire brutal attack and had only been woken up by someone knocking at the front door. When Nicole got up to answer the front door, she found that it was her neighbor asking to borrow some salt. According to this story, Nicole would have walked by injured Thea twice and not noticed her since she claimed that her daughter was lying on the floor between the bedroom and the hallway naked. When Nicole was asked how she had managed not to notice her daughter who was lying there badly injured, she said, "I had just woke up.
I was in a days." Naturally, the prosecution branded this as a false narrative, as it not only seemed highly unlikely that Nicole would have walked by her infant lying on the floor twice and not noticed her, but it was also very, very unlikely that a toddler could have caused the injuries to Thea's body.
Nicole, however, insisted that she would have never hurt her child. She went on to address jurors and said, "I can remember the trauma of finding my daughter. I will never get it out of my head. My baby died in my arms."
The court then heard how Nicole couldn't cope with life shortly before Thea was killed. Nicole pleaded with Thea's grandmother, Laura Wilson, via text message to take the baby for a few weeks. She said she just couldn't handle her. In one message, Nicole wrote, "I'm not well enough to do this and be responsible for a baby so little. My head is a mess. I'm scared she is going to die. It's horrible." Thea's grandmother, Laura, would also take the stand during the trial, and she described her granddaughter as being perfect and amazing. She said she believed that Nicole had been struggling with postpartum depression. Laura was then asked about the other child in the home, the one that Nicole claimed had dropped Thea on the floor. She said that sometimes that child could get frustrated, which would lead to biting.
And one time she had even bitten her.
But that was all she could say about the child. And honestly, it doesn't really matter anyways because it's pretty clear that it was not this little girl that hurt Thea, it was Nicole. A social worker testified too and she said that she had visited the home where Nicole and Thea lived on the morning before the little girl was rushed to the hospital.
At the time, the infant was in her crib and she seemed fine. Nicole seemed fine, too, other than the fact that she said she was tired. Now, apparently, on the day that Thea was killed, between noon and 2 p.m., Nicole turned her phone to airplane mode. It's during this time the prosecutors believe Thea was fatally injured. Once Nicole turned her cell phone back to normal mode, she contacted several people asking them for help.
Apparently, one person that Nicole had called was the social worker who had been at her home earlier that day.
Nicole told her that another child had taken Thea out of her crib and dropped her. The worker said that Nicole sounded quote maybe a bit panicked.
Just a bit. Upon receiving this call, the worker immediately went back to Nicole's apartment where she found little Thea cold, not making any noise, and looking an awful color. She also had a scratch under one of her eyes and her head looked misshapen. So, the social worker dialed 999, meaning that Nicole had not yet called emergency services herself. Someone else had to do it for her, long after it should have already been done. According to Nicole, this was because she was in shock at the time.
At the end of the trial, 30-year-old Nicole Blaine was found guilty on her charges, and she's scheduled to be sentenced sometime in May of 2026.
However, the judge told her that she can expect to receive a life sentence.
As the verdict was read, Nicole was said to have started screaming and sobbed hysterically before shouting, "I'm not going to be all right. I'm not going to be all right." And tell my dad I love him.
She's since been placed on self-cancel watch in prison.
On September 1st, 2023, a memorial balloon release was held for little Thea.
[music] Thank you for listening to Thea's story today. This mother is so ridiculous, asking for sympathy and money after her daughter's death when she knew that she was the one that had caused it. I'm glad that most people didn't fall for it. And in the end, justice was served for baby Thea. How do you feel about this one?
