This video examines the case of Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, a suspended SAPS Organised Crime Unit officer who faced multiple criminal charges including corruption, tampering with evidence, and alleged ties to criminal syndicates. The Madlanga Commission investigation revealed that Nkosi allegedly facilitated connections between suspended Deputy National Commissioner General Sibiya and the 'Big Five' criminal syndicate, while also possessing unsecured firearms, grenades, and hidden cash. The case illustrates how law enforcement corruption can involve complex networks of bribery, evidence tampering, and money laundering, with officers using their positions to protect criminal associates and obstruct justice.

The Worst Has Happened To Sergeant Nkosi In Prison! Madlanga Has Done The Unexpected To HimAjouté :
Could this be why all the corrupt politicians in South Africa are pushing for Mdluli commission to come to an end?
New information has emerged about what Nkosi did but thought will never come to limelight. This incident, if true, is worse than what Kate Matlala has done.
Think of the atrocities the big five and the cartel bosses at Mdluli confessed to for a second. What just came about Nkosi is worse than everything we heard at the commission. It is a developing story but I have gotten additional information to share from legitimate sources.
Hit the like button if you think he should be jailed and please don't forget to subscribe. Chabalala, roll out some of his videos at Mdluli commission. That will help us with a better understanding of his new crime before the main gist.
That's correct. Okay.
But it was an organized crime case as well. That's correct.
Who specifically assigned you because there's a big team in organized crime?
Who specifically assigned you to this case?
Uh at that time Brigadier Mdluli was the head of investigation. So he's the one who assigned you. That's correct.
Then you see that two days after you had sent Mr. Sibanda Sibanda that video at the foot of the same page you sent him a light a link to a clip on YouTube about Mr. Matlala. The clip is you'll see it in chat number six. It says Tembisa tender tycoon is Mama Cat and their brazen blue brigade.
You see it? That's correct.
Did you recall what that clip was about?
I I I I can't recall clearly. I mean, the clip's not no longer available online.
Uh but it was about Mr. Matlala, the allegations that he was involved in fraud at Tembisa Hospital, the fact that Babita Deokaran had been murdered while investigating that fraud, and the allegations that he well, not he, that his then wife uh was using blue lights to take their children to school. That was the Mama Cat part of the the story.
Do you recall that article now?
Yes.
Why did you send it to Mr. Sibanda uh 2 days after you sent him the clip about the murder of AKA and Mr. Mkhize's nephew?
I don't know. I just sent it to him.
What interest would Mr. Sibanda have in relation to an article about Mr. Matlala's blue lights and his alleged link to Tembisa Hospital and the fraud that Babita Deokaran was investigating when she was murdered?
What interest would he have in that?
I think his interest was on the basis that he knew Mr. Matlala and Mr. Matlala was someone someone or is someone who also talked with Mr. Sibande.
So, were you sharing it with Mr. Sibande because you wanted him to be aware of the allegations against Mr. Matlala?
I think it was a matter of maybe gossip if I can put it in in that way.
You know, like like now I'm appearing people who knows me, they will say anything, "Hey, but I'm friar." Or you know You you're prone to sharing things. Yes, so it's that situation like that.
But what we can say is that by February 2023 you would have been aware of these allegations against Mr. Matlala.
That's correct. So, you were aware that out there people were alleging that he was involved in fraud at Tembisa Hospital that the investigator of that fraud had been murdered and that he was also alleged to have abused a relationship with the Ekurhuleni Council to get blue lights on his vehicles.
You're nodding.
That's correct.
Uh did you share this article with anybody else that you can remember?
>> I can't remember, but I don't want to close it there.
I might have sent it to some other people.
Um I've lost my page reference, but I can tell you that you shared it with Mr. Mswazi on the 13th of February at 3:09 p.m. Sorry.
Yeah, Mr. Mcebisi, not Mr. Mswazi. Mr. Mcebisi.
I'll I'll get you the page reference, but you can I would I would not deny that.
Why would you have shared it with Mr. Mcebisi?
I think now the explanation would be because of at that time uh Khet was the head of security for Mr. Mcebisi. I was informing Mr. Mcebisi that this is a pending about Khet. You can't be seen associating with him.
So, as early as February 2023, you were warning Mr. Mcebisi that he shouldn't be associated associating with Mr. Mkhalla.
Not per se. He shouldn't Okay, maybe I put it in on on on a wrong English.
I was in a in in a way just alerting him that this is what is currently happening about Khet.
It wasn't the purpose of that warning what you said in your first answer uh that these are the allegations against this man.
You shouldn't be seen associating with him. You must be with him, yes.
You must be careful about him. Yes. You must be careful about associating with him.
Did you recall what Mr. Msibi's response to your warning was?
I can't remember.
But you were sufficiently concerned about these allegations against Mr. Matlala in the first instance to refer them to Mr. Sibande and in the second instance to refer them to Mr. Mswazi Mr. Msibi because you thought he needed to know them to decide whether he wanted to continue associating with Mr. Matlala.
Is that correct?
That's correct.
Now, these allegations gave you that concern in February 2023.
That was long before your first meeting with Mr. Matlala and General Sabeia.
Is that not correct?
More than More than a More than a year before you first met with uh General Sabeia and Mr. Matlala together.
That's correct.
Did you warn General Sabeia about the risk of associating with Mr. Matlala?
No.
Why not?
I did warn him.
But why not? Did you not think you should say this man is alleged to be a criminal?
Uh maybe I was negligent on that part or reckless by not alerting him.
Uh I don't want to lie and say I've alerted him.
I did not. You did not.
But certainly at the time uh the General Sibiya says he first met Mr. Mdluli uh there had been allegations published in the media that Mr. Mdluli was linked to fraud at Inanda Hospital uh was operating unlawfully with blue lights from the KwaZulu-Natal Metro Police Department and may be linked to the murder of Babita Deokaran.
You'll accept that.
Correct.
And as the deputy head of the SAPS uh deputy commissioner of the SAPS at the time, one would have expected General Sibiya to have been aware of these allegations. Would or not?
I I I would not be in position to answer on that. Um Not that I'm avoiding the question, but I don't know >> Uh fair enough. Yeah.
It's a question that belong more properly with him than with you.
You were aware of them.
Yes, we've established you were aware of them.
Uh Suspended SAPS organized crime unit member Sergeant Funani Kosi to face more criminal charges in Limpopo.
Suspended South African Police Service SAPS organized crime unit member Sergeant Funani Khosi's woes are far from over. This comes after the Mdlanga Commission's recommendations investigative task team brought additional charges of defeating and obstructing the course of justice against him.
According to SAPS national spokesperson Brigadier Athlenda Mafu, Khosi is now expected to appear before the Tiyani Magistrate's Court on Friday.
It is alleged that on the 10th of November 2022, a suspect was arrested for possession of dagga, unlicensed firearms, and explosives. Investigations indicate that Khosi fetched the original case docket under the pretext that he had been sent by head office. A few months later, he allegedly returned to Tiyani, identified himself as a colonel from head office, and removed the confiscated dagga from police custody, she said.
Mafu said Khosi later booked the exhibit in at head office, but it was subsequently discovered that one of the exhibit bags containing the dagga had been tampered with. A case of defeating and obstructing the course of justice has been registered for investigation, she said.
Khosi is currently in custody after he was denied bail in April. He is a focal figure in a massive high-level police corruption scandal exposed during his extensive testimony at the Mdlanga Commission.
Following his 8-day testimony at the Mdlanga Commission, a specialized task team raided Khosi's Pretoria North home.
The raid uncovered severe breaches of law enforcement protocols resulting in his immediate arrest. He faces a sheet of criminal charges including theft and money laundering after he was found with over 50,000 rand in cash hidden under a mattress without explanation. He was also found keeping six official SAPS case dockets at his house while under suspension.
As if that were not enough, Khosi was found with a military-grade hand grenade and stun grenades. The task team further uncovered seven unsecured licensed firearms alongside a failure to safeguard state-issued ammunition.
Of course, he is also dubbed as an alleged middleman or runner between suspended Deputy National Commissioner Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya and the Big Five criminal syndicate led by Vosimuzi Kat Makola and Khathatso Molefe. But what that card was about?
My theory is that that card was given to you by Mr. Matlala as a means of allowing you to draw cash from Mr. Matlala's accounts. In other words, essentially to pay a bribe either to you or to General Sibiya through you.
And that the reason for all of these contradictions is that you're trying to work out a version that would plausibly explain your possession of the card in innocent terms.
What is your answer to that?
>> [clears throat] >> My My answer to that is is false again.
One, Mr. Matlala had no reason to to to to pay the so-called bribe to me via card.
One, to to to to elaborate on that, I did not have anything or means to make not to push Mr. Matlala to pay bribe on me.
I was not investigating him. I did not do him anything or any favors. The only thing that I did it was only this jet skis and and the boats.
Two, I don't know uh what kind of bribe would be enough for General Sibiya to be out on the count according to say it was a a bribe from Mr. Matlala to General Sibiya via me.
Um if it was a bribe, I don't think that maybe uh I would be so dumb to to leave the paper trail to follow me if it was a bribe because of automatically if it was going to be investigated, I was going to be caught that indeed it was a bribe for uh General Sibiya.
So, I totally disagree with your statement.
Well, well, let's let's take your last explanation.
If we assume that the impalas that Mr. Matlala delivered to General Sibiya were a bribe, uh that was a bribe that uh was delivered uh through arrangements that were made through you. Is that not correct?
If we assume that it was a bribe.
Just make that assumption.
I would not even comment on the bribe issue and no no no no no.
But the impalas that Mr. Matlala arranged to be delivered to General Sibiya's home are im- palas in respect of which the delivery arrangements were made through you.
Mr. Matlala sent you messages, you forwarded them on to General Sibiya, you had calls with General Sibiya, you came back to Mr. Matlala, and that's how the delivery was done.
No contact between Mr. Matlala and General Sibiya, but contact between Mr. Matlala and you and you and General Sibiya.
>> [clears throat] >> You recall that? I recall that.
Now and we saw in relation to Twani this this modus operandi of
