The video provides a sobering look at how the collapse of diplomatic trust and competing economic interests transform regional friction into a permanent global crisis. It accurately captures the dangerous reality where strategic miscalculation, rather than intentional policy, becomes the primary driver of endless conflict.

The war is never going to end…Added:
Oh no, wrong kind of video. New type of video. Now this war is getting absolutely ridiculous. What a roller coaster of a weekend it has been. On Friday, we were told by Iran's own foreign minister that the waterways were quote completely open for all commercial vessels. Yippee, right? Well, the market certainly seemed to think so. Oil prices, they dropped by like 10%. It was huge. stocks, they went up and more than a dozen commercial ships actually passed through the waterways. This is despite Iran claiming that there were multiple mines. So things were looking good. In fact, it actually looked like a fairly bright weekend that we were going into.
Not if you're an Arsenal fan, but that's a whole different story. My heart is broken. But that brightness did not last long because the next day arrived.
Literally less than 24 hours after it was completely open, Iran closed it again. And now they're saying that any ship that attempts to pass through the waterway will be targeted. And guess what? Targeted they were because it was so quick this reversal that a few ships, well, they didn't get the the update.
Okay.
Sanmaraj Sanmaraj SA Navy YOU GIVE ME CLEARANCE YOU GIVE ME CLEARANCE TO go separan Herald you gave me clearance to go my name second on your list you gave me clearance to go YOU ARE FIRING NOW LET ME TURN back >> yeah that's audio from a couple of Indian ships that were being fired upon by Iran and I feel like the craziest part about that audio is that the ship's captain clearly said they gave him clearance to go. I bet he was just like, "Let me turn back, please." And to make the whole situation even more confusing, you want to know the reason why Iran have closed it again? Well, they say it's because the US did not lift its naval blockade against Iranian oil tankers. But in the very tweet that Trump posted to announce that Iran had opened the waterways, he said that the US naval blockade will remain until there is further a a permanent peace plan was agreed. So there's clearly something the public is not being told about that because either Iran agreed to that or they did not. Which one was it?
And keep in mind this is all on Saturday. Then Sunday rolled around and it escalated even further. That is because the US has now got involved uh after an Iranian flags cargo ship. They attempted to bypass America's naval blockade.
I told you it is absolute chaos in the straight of Hormuz right now. US sentcom they said that they repeatedly warned the Iranianbound ship to turn around over a period of about 6 hours but they were ignored. So they decided, all right, we've got to go for a little bit of a different approach, the confrontational type. So they blew a hole in the ship's engine room, and that literally forced them to stop. We gave the flare now.
Now, as you can see by the videos posted since uh Marines then repelled on board and they took this ship into US custody.
So, they literally seized it. Now, Iran, they're saying that absolutely crossed the line. They called it a violation of the ceasefire and they warned that retaliation is coming and in fact it's it's already here. Of course, they've already launched strikes against US ships in the Gulf of Oman. Now, there's been no damage reported from their drone strikes on these US ships, but it just shows you, man, we're so cooked. This is 2 days. 2 days ago, it was completely open and things are looking good. How have we fallen so far? And you really start to question like how is the war ever going to end like this? In fact, do you want to know what the icing on top of the cake of all of this is? Well, you know that ceasefire they agreed upon two weeks ago? Well, that's coming to an end on Wednesday. It is Monday. So, there's two more days of this ceasefire. And the thing is they were already anticipating this. though they had planned talks today on Monday in person for both delegations from Iran and the US to go to Pakistan and try and hammer out an extension of this ceasefire and maybe maybe even a more permanent peace deal.
And this was planned on the basis that we were going to have a positive and productive weekend with a bunch of ships rolling through the straight. The markets were getting back. But then the weekend happened. So now following all of this going tits up, we don't know if Iran is actually going to be attending these talks today. The country's state media reports that Iranian officials will not participate in these talks while the US blockade of Iranian ports remains.
Yeah. Problem is though the US say that they are already sending their delegation to Pakistan. So and that is being led by none other than JD Vance.
So if Iran stands up the vice president of the United States, you can kiss goodbye to this ceasefire. But things get really interesting, if we can call it that, when you find out who is buying 90% of the oil that is now being blocked from leaving Iran. China, please China, don't get involved. So yeah, the country that is being affected most by the US blockade of course apart from Iran is China. And you know analysts are saying that perhaps the strategy from the US is to get China to put pressure on Iran in accepting a deal that the US proposes to them to to sort it all out. But where this could potentially deeply backfire is if China does send in military escorts for these Iranian oil tankers because they have in the past. And if that does happen, then the US has a really difficult choice to make. The first they either carry out like they did yesterday and seize the Iranian oil tanker but they would have to go through China to do so which Lord knows what would be the ramifications of that or their second option is to avoid the conflict with China and do not seize it but then their bluff gets called and that opens the floodgates. So overall your update is not great news really. I mean, honestly, every time I try and give you good news, like we did on Friday, it completely flips 180 and it feels like we're back at square one. So, anyway, I'll keep you guys updated as more develops and hopefully one day I can tell you the war is over. But until then, see you later.
