And when we have both in an expression we start from the left and simplify the question. Okay guys according to the pendas rule first we simplify this parenthesis. We have 2 - 3 over 5. Since the denominator of this fraction is five we can write 2 as 10 over 5. Now we have 10 5 - 3 over 5 inside this parenthesis. The question is 1 / 8 ^ of 2 / open parenthesis 10 / 5 - 3 over 5 close parenthesis. Now we have exponent division and parenthesis. In this step we simplify this parenthesis.
10 over 5 - 35 = 7 over 5. Now we have 1 / 8 ^ of 2 / 7 over 5. In this step we simplify this exponent. 1 / 8 ^ of 2 = 1 / 64. Now we have 1 64 / 7 over 5. To solve this part, we need to follow the KCF rule. In the KCF rule, K stands for keep, C stands for change and FS stands for flip. We keep the first fraction as it is. After that, we change the division sign, the multiplication sign.
And after that, we flip the second fraction. Now we have 1 / 64 * 5 / 7.
Okay guys, 1 * 5 = 5 and 64 * 7 = 448.
