When parents attempt to save their adult children from legal consequences by interfering with law enforcement, they often make the situation worse for everyone involved, as both the child and the parent can face additional charges such as obstruction of justice, disorderly conduct, or interfering with a peace officer. The video presents multiple real-life cases demonstrating that well-intentioned parental interference during traffic stops, arrests, or other legal proceedings typically results in the parent being charged and potentially arrested, while the child faces the original charges plus additional consequences for the interference.

When Parents Try to Save Their Spoiled Kids From Being ArrestedAdded:
cannot talk to my daughter.
>> Ma'am, I need you out of the road.
>> Look, you're obstructing traffic.
>> And then I go to take my hoodie off and he tries to swing on me while I go on his zipper on his back. And then I grab him and slam on the floor.
>> Okay. My son better not jail.
>> I'm probably going to jail.
>> No, Dad. You're not going to jail.
>> Well, we saw him there. We know Jeff's here.
>> I know. I'm just asking him.
>> Have Jeff come up.
>> Excuse me, >> Jeff. We already saw he's here. Where's he at?
Every good parent wants to protect their children, but if their children are adults who need to answer to the law, interfering just makes matters worse.
Lines need to be drawn when parents try to save their spoiled kids from being arrested.
>> That's the last step over there.
I told you On September 27th, 2024, a young woman had been pulled over as part of a routine traffic stop. When her mom arrived on the scene, the situation quickly became anything but routine.
He just told me to sit right here.
>> Okay.
>> That's not a brake light, ma'am. That's not a bra.
>> What's out?
>> So, who's the sergeant?
>> Who's the sergeant? So, all of y'all, not one sergeant show. I know she asked for a sergeant. I know for a patient.
Get a car. Get the car. I know she asked for a sergeant cuz I was like, "Come on.
So which one of y'all didn't get in charge?
>> I was on the phone. What you talking about? Oh yeah, you need to get out of you get in trouble, too.
>> You need Okay, we'll get you a supervisor. You can go wait inside your vehicle. Okay.
>> I'll wait right here.
>> Okay. I'm going to >> With the mom seemingly calm after she'd sat, one of the officers went over to the daughter. But her mom wasn't done creating a scene, and he quickly went back over to try and diffuse the situation.
>> Will you do me a huge favor? Yes. Just stay away from your door. Either get in or stay away just cuz I don't want cars coming up.
>> Okay.
>> You were not at your apartment cuz I seen you in my car. And we're not I'm not going to get our We're going to get our answer.
Are y'all driving?
>> I'm not yelling. I'm talking.
>> The mom went on to challenge the officers over how many cops it took to perform a traffic stop. So, they explained the four of them were detectives who'd all been riding together and tried to get the mom and daughter to one side so they could give their side of the story.
>> Will both y'all come here?
>> No. Will both of y'all come here, please?
>> So, basically to give my rundown of what I'm >> Am I not having a problem? Do you not see this as a problem?
>> Can I both yall come over here? All right. Come here.
>> Come. Hey, come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here.
Come here. Come here. Come here.
>> All right. No, you can. Come here. Come here. Hey, come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Come here. Ma'am.
Ma'am. Ma'am. Ma'am.
>> You're coming at me.
Back up. Back up. You're coming at me. I You're not You're coming at me.
>> Tell her to back up. She keeps coming up to us. She needs back. Please >> tell her to back up. Do it now. Do it now. If you're happy, tell her to back up.
>> Will y'all come back?
>> Tell her to back up.
>> Okay. From my understanding. Okay. I'm on patrol today. Okay.
>> These are investigators. They usually do on certain cases. They do ride quite a few investigators in one car.
>> Okay. They performed a traffic stop. Um daughter, right?
>> Yes.
>> Okay. And your daughter?
>> Okay.
>> But they need to You can't even ask them because they want to see here and they don't want to answer nothing.
>> I'm working the road.
>> I know. I'm married to I was married to a cop. I know.
>> All right. They called me out here because investigators, they don't usually carry around ticket books.
>> So, y'all gave her a ticket for life and >> all that. I didn't I They just asked for the paper.
>> You know why? You know why? Because they want proof of why they stopped her.
>> So, what I would do, >> she asked for a sergeant already. They did not get >> I'm not a sergeant. I'm >> understand. They say they're waiting on you to I'm an NPO. Okay. So, I I'm a little something. I'm not there yet.
Okay. But they asked for you because they said they didn't have no tickets and she asked right then because her dad's police officer.
>> So that so that's bas So that's basically what I'm doing. As far as I know, they were investigating another case >> and they won't even tell when they're >> referencing the referencing the apartment complex.
>> Yes. Right here.
>> Okay. That I'm going to be honest with you. Okay. I'm going tell you straight up. I was called here to bring a paper matter. Why does it matter what he if he where he rides or whatever? That's none of their damn business. The officer then tried to help them understand that arguing with the investigators was not the right way to handle the situation and that they would be better off speaking to a sergeant back at the station. But the mom failed to see that.
>> Okay. But I got a question for you.
>> Okay. Go ahead.
>> If I come at you like this, are you going to be afraid?
>> No.
>> If I come at you, why is it okay she comes at me? Why is it okay that every that she walked up here to us and if I walk there, she can get arrested, too? I was in the I had she he asked me to move in other road. He goes, she goes, "You either get it here or you want it down."
>> What I what I will say in in in as nonbiased as possible, I'm not going to condone anybody's behavior out here thus far. Okay.
>> Can we hear that?
>> Yes. But don't don't surround my daughter and don't ask when I was on the phone >> and I'm on the phone and I hear none of them get a sergeant when I come from Jackson and I still haven't got a sergeant out here 30 minutes.
>> That's something I was also unaware of.
Okay. I was unaware of the notifications.
>> They even talk They even talked to her father. He's a police officer.
>> And they didn't do nothing about it.
They're still sitting here like a I mean, >> what you need to do is >> Where's the sergeant?
>> But why is it okay? And I'm not trying to call. Why is it Every time a white girl and a black guy get together, there is a problem down here. I understand.
But they say something every time to her with a black guy.
>> Every time.
>> It's It's 2020.
>> Why I have a black guy in my car?
>> She's done got pulled over like three times.
>> This is my family. Like this is my family. Is it because we're different?
They have >> do you have uh so how many times is that?
>> Three.
>> A lot.
>> Three so far.
>> What I'm going to say in the same reference to what you're arguing with over here, >> you need to go to the PD. Okay. If you have any issue with anything that's been going on, any record of it, if you have anything >> So what So what I would do So what I would do is I would go to the PD. Okay.
>> Despite the officer's best efforts to take control of the situation, the mom continued throwing her weight around.
She went on to accuse one of the other officers of not showing his ID when they pulled her daughter over.
>> I need a card. They've been on the way this whole time. Can I have y'all's names and everything since y'all don't have nothing on?
>> I I let her know.
>> I I asked for her, but I asked Can you Can you give me a >> How do you pull somebody over here and you don't have a card?
>> You're You're not even in full club.
>> Ma'am Ma'am, I want to know questions and ma'am ma'am, you have to answer them. Ma'am, ma'am, you have to answer.
>> Step over there.
>> No, she come at me and you didn't do nothing.
>> I'm asking you to step over there.
>> She did the same thing and she didn't do nothing.
>> Giving you an order to step over there.
>> I asked her to step away from me.
>> Step over there.
>> I want y'all's information >> and we will give it to you once our sergeant come.
>> When is your sergeant coming? You got to >> Can you step over there? That's the last I'm leaving.
>> Step over there.
>> Calm down.
No. Get off me.
>> She cannot grab ME LIKE THIS. SHE CANNOT grab me like this.
>> She cannot grab me like this.
>> Okay. But I'm going to go 108. Okay, >> bro. Tell No. Get somebody out. Get out of your car. Yeah. I'm going to the place.
Stop.
>> I don't know how they're good when I asked her multiple times to step back.
>> The sergeant that the mom had been demanding to see finally arrived on the scene, but if she'd been expecting to talk her way out of the situation, she was in for a disappointment.
>> What do you want with me, man?
>> I want to know one, why my daughter was pulled over. too. Why they were at her apartment?
>> Are you part of this record?
>> I was on my side.
>> Take her >> for what? I'm asking a question. Do you have all these other stay in the car?
>> Stay in the car.
>> Get in the car.
>> Get back in the car if you want to go too.
>> Get in the car.
>> Get in the car.
>> Get in the car if you want to go. You want to go too?
>> You're going to jail for instructions.
>> Are you serious?
Get back in the car.
>> Get in the car. Get in the car.
>> Get her in the car. Get her in the car.
>> I can't walk.
>> Do you want to go with your mom?
Clearly, the threat of being arrested had no effect on the daughter, Shane, who continued being uncooperative. But the passengers in her car eventually talked some sense into her. She finally closed the car door as asked.
>> I was asking a question because they were at my daughter's house.
>> Okay.
>> Pull up on a traffic stop and interfere.
>> Yeah. Look, it took me to get here. I come all the way from Jackson to 2011 here and you still haven't showed up.
I'm telling you, if I would have heard your daughter ask me for >> my She got my husband on the phone. He's a police my ex-husband. He's a police officer.
>> She said, "Can I have a sergeant?"
>> So, ma'am, I promise on my I promise on my daddy.
>> She was talking. She was talking. She said, "Ma'am, ma'am."
>> So, if one of y'all, >> can you please say I was not trying to interrupt, but I was asking a question.
>> You're all up in it. How can you not be?
My daughter is scared because they come.
They're >> on the phone with me and all I can hear is you yelling.
>> They won't even get their ID. They won't even give their ID. You did. You did.
Yes, ma'am. You did. And you have ID on.
>> They don't. You got this one and this one. That doesn't have it.
>> The mom finally started cooperating. But Shane believed it was her turn again to cause more problems.
>> Leave before you go, too.
How you guys holding marijuana?
>> I'm going to take you giving you order to leave.
>> Now leave.
>> Thank you.
>> We have a good rest of your night >> and I hope you enjoy your night.
>> Pack up your car and leave.
>> Stop talking. Can you still keep talking? What?
>> Leave.
>> Can y'all step away from my car? Please step away from my car. Step away from my car. Take one more time. Go.
>> I can't move.
>> I'm telling you right now.
>> Open the door.
>> Open the door. Open the door.
>> Open the door.
>> I cannot move. Open the door. Move, sir.
I cannot move.
>> Get out the car. I'm on your wrist. I can't hurt.
>> You get off.
>> Shane continued blaming the officers even as she was being handcuffed, claiming she tried to leave like they'd asked, but they wouldn't let her. The complaints fell on deaf ears and both she and her mom were arrested for obstruction.
On August 28th, 2025, police officers were called to an apartment complex about a disturbance between a mom and daughter duo and a tow truck operator.
An officer arrived on scene to find the argument in full swing.
>> Hey. Hey. Hey.
>> Hey. Come here. Come here.
>> Back up.
>> HEY, BACK UP.
BACK UP.
>> OKAY.
Back up. Back up from me.
>> That's the body. That's >> I need you to listen. You're >> trying to take my car for what? I need you. And you're going to let him.
>> I need you to listen. You're going to let him.
I need I need you to stop. I need you.
Relax.
And now you're touching me.
Get out.
>> You don't touch me. What's wrong with you?
>> What is wrong with you?
>> Because you don't get to touch me like that. What is wrong with you? No, you just smacked my head. Huh? What's wrong with you? No. Now you going to jail for something stupid.
>> Despite having just made the situation worse for herself, the daughter continued to struggle against the officer. He asked her repeatedly to give him her hand, but she refused to cooperate.
>> I'm not going to say it again. You're going to get changed. It's not going to go It's not going to go nice to you. You need to give me your hand now. Relax.
>> Give me your other hand now. Relax.
>> You stop touching. You doesn't matter.
Stop [ __ ] You don't get to touch anything.
>> Give me YOUR HAND NOW. RELAX. STOP.
>> You [ __ ] the up because you about to get paid. All right. You're going to WATCH OUT, TOO.
GET ON THE GROUND NOW.
You're not going to throw me.
>> You're not going to throw me.
>> I am on the ground.
>> Put her in close. Put her across. Pull her in. Hold on.
Stop. Stop. Stop.
>> Hands. Stop. Get down.
Throw her a handcuff.
>> This is resistance.
>> Stop resisting.
>> On the floor when you >> throw your hands behind your back. Put your hands behind your back.
>> Even if you take me, I don't care. Just please let her There's a baby upstairs.
Please.
>> There's a baby upstairs. There's a baby upstairs. Please. Please.
The daughter continued to cry as she was led over to one of the squad cars and claimed her baby brother was upstairs.
Once the officer had her secured, he then went over to talk to the tow truck driver and get his side of the story.
>> Okay. Why are you doing?
>> She was parked here. The vehicle was left unattended. Okay.
>> It says no parking. She's blocking a dumpster. I looked it up. She came running down. Okay. Offered her the 6250 ft drop. Okay. She started talking hell of that this that and the third. I'm like, "Look, if you continue, I'm going to tow the car."
>> She kept on. I started to set my dollies up. She would grab them and throw them into the grass.
>> I went to set my bars up.
>> Tell them how you push.
>> I didn't push her. I don't have a body camera.
>> Everything's on record.
>> I'm walking with my dollies and she's trying to like push me out the way.
>> Which one hit you?
>> No, of them hit you. They just pulled up.
>> See, they just pushed. So, whoever was grabbing the tow truck stuff, >> I saw her grab it.
>> The mom. Okay.
>> That's why she's in handcuffs.
>> The daughter. The daughter. Every time I would set my dollies up, she would grab them and toss them into the grass.
>> Okay.
>> The daughter, the one that you >> She's going to jail for smacking my head while I was trying to push her away. So, that's resisting the She's going to jump something else.
>> The tow truck driver confirmed he wasn't hurt and that nothing had happened besides them pushing him and throwing his equipment. He stated again that he hadn't physically touched either of the women as his hands were on his equipment the whole time.
>> So, when you start to holding up the truck or the car, when did they what apartment did they come out of?
>> They were upstairs. They were coming like by the time I started to to like lift, she was at the bottom the bottom steps. I didn't know it was her car.
There's plenty of other cars. She didn't say, "Hey." No, she didn't say none of that.
>> Okay.
>> So, I I lifted the car. She came up. She actually opened my door.
>> Okay.
>> She yanked my door open. The the daughter, >> the one in the pink.
>> Yeah. She She actually pulled my door. I was like, "Right there. We're going to stop right there cuz you're not going to sit there and yank my door open."
>> Okay.
>> That's the big no no.
>> All right. And then you have authority to take off from the >> Beautiful. All right. I'll just need you need to reduce that and let me get your ID real quick. The officer then went to talk to the mom, who is now seated in the back of another squad car. He started by asking for her details, but she insisted on asking him a question first. He agreed to answer so long as she promised to cooperate.
>> Why? When I was asked to get down on the ground, and I did, correct? Correct me if I'm wrong, but you guys might not be the ones with me. There's like 20 of you guys. But when I was asked to get down on the ground, did I or did I not get down?
>> Okay. You were on your knees. We ask you to put your hands behind your back and you refuse to put your hands behind your back because you were more focused on reporting on your phone.
>> Right. But when when when an officer gives you a lawful order whether you agree with us with or not at the at that moment you have to follow the officer's lawful order.
>> Right. So when we told you put get down and put your hands behind your back, you were like no. And you're going to keep recording.
>> I didn't say no.
>> No. But you whether whether you said no or not, you were refusing to do it.
>> No, it's not that I was refusing. I wasn't told to do it. I was told to get down and I did.
>> Right. And then we told you put your hands behind your back.
>> And you said why?
>> No. At that moment, even when I was on the ground, you know what you guys did?
You guys ple me to the ground and then told me put my hands behind my back because I didn't want to. Cuz I didn't understand why were you guys doing >> Listen to what you said cuz you didn't want to. We asked you to put your hands behind your back.
>> No, you guys told me get down on the ground >> and put your hands behind your back.
Those those go one in one.
>> All right. I guess we could look at the video after. My name is Priscilla.
>> You live here?
>> Yes.
>> Okay. Is that your vehicle? Michael, >> your daughter's your daughter's the one in the pink, >> right?
>> Um, >> she was dropping something off just like Uber Dashes and they all do and we have probably about a minute or two to get up and get down. She dropped off some steak and shake. That's probably the counter.
Came back down and was calling me screaming saying, "My car is being towed." I literally parked there. She wasn't even in a in a assigned parking where it's it makes sense to be told cuz it's not her spot. She did what Door Dash people do, what Lift people do, what Uber people do. She pulled up right there because that's not a parking cuz she was running upstairs for one moment to bring something that's probably still sitting on the counter warm that you guys can go check and verify because at this point I was even told by the tow company that this guy comes from Cassini over here to tow cars. This isn't even one of his products. The officer explained it didn't matter whether the property was one of the tow truck drivers or not as he had a contract to tow in that neighborhood. But the mom, Priscilla, claimed he must have seen her daughter pull up and immediately wanted to tow the vehicle.
>> With that being said, that's something you can argue with the >> No, I know that. But with you guys, I also have another question for you guys because I'm just in disbelief that although I followed instruction, you guys took it as far as y'all did with me. Ma'am, you did not follow instructions all the way. Once you were tensing up, you know when you're tensing up at that point, you're you're resisting. Ma'am, because I had already followed instruction, >> as you can see, I'm an honest person.
I'm willing to admit yes when it's yes.
>> So, so you was resisting >> after I followed instruction and you guys continued to throw me all over.
>> Who was not following instruction? Did I not just come over here to >> exactly my name? Not exactly what happened.
>> It doesn't matter.
>> It does. I just asked who's been asking us what's happening. Who's >> But you're not giving. You're just jumping into conclusion. You're not giving officers a chance. I'm not the primary officer. I'm not the one investigating what happened. So, what does that matter?
>> Dad, I'm trying to figure out what does that matter. I'm trying to tell you what it matters. That there's all of you guys are focused on one person when there was three people involved. So, y'all get one person's version of the story versus So, because no one's have spoken to you yet, you're just going to go with the assumption that we're not going to get your side of the story.
>> Not the assumption. The facts that so far no one has.
>> Give me a second, please.
She could accuse the officers of being unfair all she wanted, but really simple wasn't the case. An officer did then go talk to her daughter, who was also ready to argue.
>> All right, you calm? Calm enough? Okay, so right now you're being you're going to jail for battering a law enforcement officer. You don't get to touch me and on top of that resistance. All that could have been avoided. All I was doing was pushing you away so we can talk about it. At the end of the day, he has a job to do. He has a contract from here to tow any vehicles that block that parking lot or that parking space. You chose to park there. That's no one's fault but yours. And all you had to do was just talk to me. But because you were such at a high elevated state, you didn't you didn't want a reason.
>> Putting your hands on me is unacceptable. So that's what you're going to jail for.
>> I didn't put that.
>> Yes, you did. It's caught on camera.
It's caught on camera.
>> You don't get the smack. No, no, no, no, no.
>> All I did was listen. You will get You will get That's your That's your argument. That's what you want to stick with. You will get that in court. At the end of the day, you're still going to jail. Now, do you have a medical marijuana card? No.
>> Okay. So, you have weed in your in your in your in your possession. Okay.
>> The officer went on to explain the entire situation could have been avoided if the daughter and her mom had just listened. But she proved she hadn't learned anything from the experience when she again chose not to listen and to keep arguing.
>> Ma'am, you were not trying to do. You were upset to the point that I couldn't even reason with you. And because you you couldn't I couldn't have reasoned you at that time. You decided to smack me and I'm taking you to >> I did not I did not. That's fine. That's that's that's crown body camera.
>> I did I definitely did was going to give him the money that he asked for. I was literally calling for it.
>> All right. So >> no medical marijuana guard. Who's who's upstairs that you have that you have to worry about?
>> My my little brother which is right there with that family. I don't even know who they are. And my little sister is upstairs. So, you have it >> just kind of >> All right, we're gonna call somebody, see if we can get them situated. If not, we're gonna have to call BCF and they're gonna have to take See the the the gravity of what you could have done had you just listened. You're making it worse for the entire family cuz now I have to call them if they if there's no one else that can stay with those kids off of just a simple argument with a tow truck driver. You could have just avoided the situation by letting me explain or talk to you.
>> She's going to jail.
>> She's refusing the officers over there.
If you you cannot fight officers that think you're going to get away with it.
>> Listen, listen. I'm not I'm not going to sit here. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you.
>> All right. Look, we're done with that.
She's going to jail as well.
>> The daughter was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer with violence, possession of cannabis under 20 g, and interference with a vehicle or trailer. Priscilla was charged with interference with a vehicle or trailer, and resisting an officer without violence.
On October 11th, 2024, an officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop after witnessing a woman driving around with a dark tint covering her license plate. He approached the vehicle to find he had his work cut out for him.
>> And why are you pulling me?
>> Afternoon. License, registration, proof of insurance.
>> Why are you pulling me?
>> License, >> insurance, proof of registration, and I'll let you know.
>> Why are you pulling me? I will let you know after you give me your license, registration, proof of insurance.
>> My name is Officer Delvar with Beach Police Department.
>> Well, why are you pulling me?
>> I will let you know once you give me your license, registration, proof of insurance.
>> So, why are you pulling me though?
>> I will let you know once you give me >> Why are you pulling me?
>> I'm going to give you one more opportunity. Are you coming out of the car?
>> I don't mind stepping out the car. I just want to know why you pulling me.
>> No, I will pull you out of the car and put you in cuffs.
>> You won't pull nothing. The suspect seemed to be under the impression that she was the one calling the shots. It didn't take long before she threatened to take the officer to court. Then she demanded to talk to his supervisor.
>> Call your sergeant.
>> Call your sergeant.
Call your sergeant.
>> Step out of here.
>> Call your sergeant.
>> Hey, listen. Don't put your mother hands on me.
>> Send me another unit.
>> Don't put your hands on me.
>> Don't You don't have to do that to me.
Get out of the theater.
>> Don't put your hands down. I'm going to get up. DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME.
>> DON'T PUT YOUR HANDS.
>> You don't have to slam ME DOWN. ONLY ASKING him why he's pulling me. That's it. That's all I'm asking. You don't HAVE TO SLAM ME DOWN.
>> Y'all don't HAVE TO SLAM ME DOWN. I just asked a simple question. You have some man.
>> You don't have A MAN TO ME THOUGH.
>> She maintained she'd just been asking a question and the officer was in the wrong for putting her under arrest. The officers did their best to calm her, but she kept screaming and playing the victim.
>> That's all I ask.
>> Calm down.
>> I GET YOUR SERGEANT. THAT'S ALL I ASK.
>> That's all I ask.
>> PLEASE STOP ME HANDING ME.
>> OKAY. WELL, he can let me go. TELL HIM LET ME GO.
>> That's fine. TELL HIM TO LET me go.
>> Ma'am, listen. Calm down.
>> Let me go.
>> Ma'am, calm down.
>> Let me go.
>> We'll get a female here.
>> He's manhanding me like I'm aing dude.
I'm not a dude.
>> I'm not a dude. LET MY STUFF GO.
>> Let go.
>> My my insurance.
>> Let me He man like I'm a man. I'm not a man, bro.
>> Sit down. Sit down.
>> I'mma sit right here.
>> I'mma sit right here. Y'all didn't have to man.
>> Get in the car. Relax. Whoever going to pat you down, just relax.
>> Ain't nothing on me.
>> Just calm down. Relax. Relax.
>> He told her a second time that the sergeant was already there if she had any questions. Then the first officer who pulled her over came to talk to her again.
>> This didn't have to go this way. I asked you for three simple things.
>> And I ask I can ask a question why you pulled me for no reason.
>> Three reasons.
>> You did not have to do ALL THAT. NO, YOU DON'T HAVE TO HANDLE ME LIKE I'M A MAN.
>> WHEN YOU'RE ready to talk, let me know.
>> What do you need?
>> Um >> number.
>> Yeah, I'm taking her cuz >> I gave her the commands, the license, registration, proof of insurance.
>> She uh instantly wanted wanted to just demand what to stop. I told her no problem as soon as you give me your license proof of insurance. Kept doing that. Wouldn't hand me any of her documents. started shouting, saying she wanted a sergeant. So, I asked her to step out of the vehicle for me. As soon as I asked her to step out, she pulled away, started kicking and bucking, trying to pull herself out. So, I get her out.
>> Yep.
>> The officers did an inventory of what's inside her vehicle in case she reported anything stolen. >> Do you want this or not?
>> You want this or not? I'm done discussing.
>> Huh?
>> Yeah. All right. What's up?
>> Hey, you have the Oh, never mind.
>> Excuse me. Where's my daughter?
>> Uh, she's in the back of the car.
>> Pull her out of her car.
>> Ma'am, just park your car and calm down.
What is the legal right?
>> If she comes over here, it causes a disturbance. She's going to be tempted.
>> We got another one.
>> Hey, don't come over here. Ma'am, do not come over here. Do not come over here.
>> Do not come over here. I want TO KNOW WHAT I GOT.
>> We'll come talk to you in the man, but do not come over here and cause problems. You will be arrested.
>> You ain't had no business. Put a heart in your car. No business.
>> Don't stand over there, please.
>> What y'all hold over?
>> You think it's a dude car? It's a whole woman's car. You're not behind.
>> The situation was descending into pure chaos. The officers kept trying to lead the family on the side so they weren't in the way of traffic, but it was like hurting cats. Hey, I'm not going to tell you to leave the area, but please stay on the sidewalk. Please stay on the sidewalk. You're obstructing traffic.
That is a Stand on the sidewalk. Please stay out of the roadway.

For what?
>> She's under arrest.
>> For what?
>> For what?
>> She was refusing a lawful order to provide her name and information during >> Sir, I was on the phone with her. I will be reviewing it.

What was he call for him to do it?
>> I just I just told you.
>> All right.
>> I I told you that she was arrested for not following the lawful orders.
>> All right. Listen.
>> Listen.
>> Stop me.
>> You just called me. got me all shaking.
>> None of us were here.
>> Okay.
>> But she was arrested for not following the lawful orders of a police officer during a traffic stop.
>> Oh, during the traffic.
>> That's it.
>> Doesn't mean she'll ever be found guilty. It just means there was probable cause for the arrest.
>> That's it.
>> Do you know why she was pulled over? Do you know why she was pulled over? It's >> an expired tank.
>> They said they wasn't here.
The officer agreed the tag wasn't expired. The first officer then clarified the problem was that it had been covered, but the family still weren't happy about both the arrest and the car getting towed.
>> Ma'am, you cannot go in that car.
Otherwise, you're going to be arrested.
>> A whole lot of stuff.
They do an inventory on the car. It's on camera.
>> Hey y'all.
>> Hey, go home.
>> Move your car, Brenda. Move the car.
Now >> you got the power.
>> Sorry about that, but what were you talking about?
>> You got the power. That's all I know.
>> I was just trying to tell you.
>> I said you got the power here.

She pled no contest to the failing to obey lawful commands charge and her adjudication was withheld. She was then ordered to pay $514 in costs and fees.
On March 3rd, 2025, an auto shop called the cops to report an assault. An officer arrived on scene to find a 16-year-old, later identified as Ernie, and his very upset mom.
>> Didn't I just wave at you?
>> Didn't I just wave at you downtown?
>> Yeah, I just I just beat the out of that guy.
>> What guy?
>> He tried to hit me in the head with like a >> You trying to hold me up in here? You trying to hold me up in here?
>> All right, come over here, man. [ __ ] tried to bash my three-year-old's headed with >> All right.
>> Get the my car, fat, >> dude. Can you wait inside, please?
Please >> away from me.
>> Is it Ashley?
>> No.
>> What's your name?
>> Tiffany.
>> Tiffany. All right.
>> What is >> that fat mother?
>> Can I have that, please? Before we do something stupid, can I have that, please? Thank you.
>> Come on over here. My >> Tiffany, dude, come over here. Huh? It's It's okay. Take a breath. Take a breath.
>> No. Save your money and don't ever come back.
>> All right. First of all, do either of you need an ambulance?
>> He just he just tried to hit in the head with that.
>> I'm not going to lie.
>> He just got jumped.
>> Yes, he did. Once Tiffany had quieted, Ernie claimed his hand was already broken and he'd felt it would break more. There was a visible cut despite Ernie's claims he'd be all right. But the officer was still trying to determine if they needed an ambulance.
>> Which hand hurts worse?
>> Um, which hand?
>> Tried to square up and grab my >> when I when I took my hoodie off cuz he he took he was he was like this. He took his sweater off. He was like, "What's up then?" Cuz I was like I was like, "Don't talk to her like that. We can fight if you really want to." So he takes his takes his zipper off and then I go to take my hoodie off and he tries to swing on me while I got my zipper on back up and I hit him in the face and then I grab him and slam him on the floor and he did >> and my son better not jail.
>> I'm probably going to get >> No, Dad. You're not going to jail. That piece of almost I just came back because I came here.
They had my car for 26 [ __ ] days and this fat didn't even bleed my brakes.
She said my leaking. She said, "This car is completely [ __ ] safe to drive." I just came from there. So, I came up here because I'm like, "You need to you better fix my fuck." Me and my kids literally I was going to pick him up from the hospital and we drove up once in a because my brakes don't work.
>> Ernie Hills have eyes looking >> Tiffany just Are you putting that in your car?
Tiffany >> Tiffany, we'll figure it out. Can you please just take a breath?
>> He said, "If you were a you up, you fat." Really? And then he picks that thing up and he almost just bash I almost just watched him bash his head in. You fat piece of [ __ ] Look at my forehead. He tried to us. He has nothing but deadly weapons in that.
>> Oh, it's a tool. It's a workshop.
>> Next, Tiffany told the officer she wanted to press charges. When the auto shop employee they've been fighting with appeared at the shop door, the officer had to ask him to go back inside as Tiffany was still hysterical.
>> Hello.
>> Hey, man.
>> You guys all right?
>> I'm the one to call.
>> Okay. Of course, I can't really stuff.
Are you okay?
>> Yeah.
>> You need an ambulance or anything? Okay.
All right. So, what the hell happened?
Excuse my French, but she she Okay. She come in a couple months ago.
>> We were talking about fixing her car because she pulled out somewhere and it everything snapped.
>> Left side.
>> Left left throat.
>> Okay.
>> Okay.
>> This is a month or so ago.
>> Mhm.
>> Yeah. I broke my leg on 4th of January.
So, this is literally like third, fourth week back, something like that.
Him and the other guy that was here fixed her car. She drove out in a month and then she comes in here and starts acting.
>> She said it breaks when I'm try to come here screaming, yelling. I ask them, "Please leave." They wouldn't leave.
Next thing I walk over the corner, I turn around. That kid's like, "Oh, we're going." Oh, man. I'm like, "Dude, just leave before you get I He's like, "Oh, no." He ripped his shirt off. I was like, taking my jacket off. He swung and punched me. Got her on camera.
>> Okay.
>> He started to >> Okay. All right. Did she get involved or anything or >> Yeah, she started hitting me, too.
>> Mhm.
>> The employee went on to say that he'd grabbed an impactor to defend himself, but Tiffany had gotten a hold of it and now had it in her pocket. He claimed it was worth $3 to $400. So he understandably wanted it back.
>> So she's freaking out. She comes in here saying, you know, my car broke down. You guys are trying to. And then you told her to leave.
>> No. I said, she was just I I could only understand what she was crazy.
I said, I just did you a favor cuz the work I did for her was totally trashed.
>> I did a favor cuz she has little kids.
And then she comes back a month later to today and I'm like I didn't turn up. Excuse the language.
>> No, it's fine.
>> And then uh she's just off and I told her I said just get your he that's my mom. I said do me a favor. Tell you get your mom and go. We'll deal with this.
You know it's another time when you're not. And then I said I walked away to my toolbox. Next time I turn around. He's standing behind me.
He's fisted up. Okay.
>> Okay. I was like I said, "Dude, you don't want to do this." He's like, "Oh, yeah, dude. You talking I'm like whatever." So, you ripped his shirt off.
I started taking my jacket off. Soon as I got my jacket to here, he started sucker punching me. Then he threw me down. The next thing you know, she's on top. He hit me with I don't know if it was the impact or cuz I did grab it, try to hit him with it.
>> I pro and she grabbed it somehow.
>> Yeah.
>> And she hit you with it.
>> She grabbed my head. I think I don't know. Okay.
>> I was dealing with it.
>> All right. And you said you got security cameras. Can you pull them up for me?
>> I have to call you over.
>> Okay. All right. Okay. Just hang out for a minute. I'm going to go back and talk to my partner. Okay.
>> After getting the employee side of the story, they went to speak with Tiffany again. The auto shop wanted both Tiffany and Ernie trespassed. So, it was time to get them off the premises.
>> So, to my understanding, your son's going to the hospital. Is that Is that correct? Okay. Um >> I have to get my baby. My friend isn't home.
>> Yep. Go to the hospital. Take care of him. I can't. I got to get my baby.
She's >> Oh, I thought you meant he he is your baby.
>> No, my baby's only six.
>> Okay.
Can you get your baby and then go to him?
>> All right. Don't let her listen to me.
You are not to come back here, Tiffany.
>> These understand I paid them $400.
>> I understand.
>> What do I do?
>> I would be livid, too. Okay. I would be >> with my kids. That's why I'm here. I can't even get an alignment on my >> after what he did. They owe me. That's why I'm here.
>> The officer explained he couldn't do anything about the issues with Tiffany's car. He then told her they were getting charged with trespassing and that the incident would be written up as assault, but Tiffany was still upset.
>> Nobody's going to jail right now. It's going to be a report.
>> Almost just minor kid.
>> But because it's my kid, >> I understand the situation. His son's the size of a grown adult and he assaulted >> but he's not a grown adult. It does not matter. Tiffany, he's still a kid.
>> It doesn't matter. Ernie is the size of a grown adult and he assaulted another man. All right.
>> He is a man at this point. How big he is.
>> Just be >> Oh my god.
>> He He is the size of a grown-up.
>> He's all right. He's not like a little 8-year-old. He's a 16-year-old and he's massive. Okay. So, if he assaults another an adult >> for that.
>> Okay. I understand that, but >> at the end of the day, uh, they don't want you on the property, so you need to leave the property. Okay.
>> Eventually, Tiffany did drive off, and both she and Ernie were charged with assault and given a court date.
On August 15th, 2024, a fight broke out between multiple juveniles at a school bus stop. The situation escalated when a woman, later identified as Catherine, stepped in to defend her daughter, Aubrey. Witnesses called 911 and officers were dispatched to speak to everyone involved.
>> Hi, my mom my mom's not here right now.
She had to go right in.
>> Can you have her come back with >> you? Yeah.
>> Uh yeah, I can kind of important.
>> What's >> on three?
>> What's like Why is it important?
>> What are you guys arresting? My mom or something?
>> No, she was just involved. talk.
>> Okay.
>> It's kind of important. You can't do it over phone.
>> Well, letting you know like my mom was defending herself. She was not hitting.
>> You still need to talk.
>> Okay. I just like I just not trying to have my mom arrested.
>> I got >> cuz this at all was not her fault. like this crazy [ __ ] started hitting me and my mom was trying to get her off me and then she starts hitting her and my mom is like trying to get her off her like off of her and like she's pulling her hair and my mom didn't hit her. All she was doing was trying to get her off of her like and she was like backing her away like go home like get away and then she this girl hits her in the face with a metal water bottle. Aubrey showed the officers pictures of the bruising on her mom's face. As she was only 15, the officers couldn't question her without her mom present. So, they waited for Catherine until she arrived at the property about 20 minutes later.
>> Me and my daughter out here.
>> Uh, yes. And other deputies are going to come out here and speak to you and get statements. Okay, cool.
>> So, I would retract from saying anything you know about the incident. Um, >> wait, don't say anything. Yeah, just uh because other deputies are to you. Uh yeah, we're we're getting ready to leave. Other deputies are going to come here and talk to you and they're they're going to make you fill out statements.
>> Are they like going to come? Cuz I'm I was on the way to do something.
>> Yeah. No, no, no. They're on their way.
>> Oh, okay.
>> They're on their way. Any photos you guys have of injuries? Cuz it's >> Yeah, my face is >> it's it's delayed. Um it's better when they're when everything's fresh.
>> Oh, can I just send you the pictures now?
>> Yes, please. Uh, I have my work phone. I have my work phone number.
>> Yeah, it's going to be an ongoing investigation.
>> All right.
>> So, let's not make any statements.
>> Let's not make any spontaneous utterances.
>> I'm going to be taking care of this whole thing.
>> Um, >> I'm going to make sure that the deputies come here, talk to you guys in depth about everything involved >> and we can work from there. Okay. But you you will you will be hearing from me. Um, and school resource deputies will get contacted >> and other shifts deputies will get contacted for security at bus stops.
>> I was just about to say that.
>> Yep. So, just to deter I mean, tomorrow's her birthday, so I'm going to drive her and pick her up.
>> Okay. Okay, that's great. Um, just to deter any further incident, highly suggest no contact being made. If you have them on social media, uh, phone numbers, >> yeah, already they're already blocked.
Are >> everything blocked? Everything blocked including you with the parents.
>> I don't even have their numbers.
>> Okay, that's that is fine. And then we can uh a thorough this is going to be a thorough ongoing investigation until we get everybody's witness statements, all all video footage of everything that was recorded.
>> Video too.
>> When those deputies come on, make sure everything is thoroughly said. They'll swear you to your statements and everything. After collecting statements and reviewing the video footage, officers found evidence that the incident had begun as a planned confrontation between Aubrey and another student at the bus stop following an ongoing dispute. So, they returned to talk to Catherine again.
>> Give me a brief explanation out of your point of view of what occurred on Thursday.
>> Okay. So, I'm out shopping. I get a text. My daughter didn't have her phone cuz it got taken away. She texted me on someone's phone on the bus saying, "Katie's trying to fight me. Can you meet me at the bus stop?" And in my mind, I'm like, "Okay." So, I'm rushing to get back there. Just thinking in my in my mind, I'm thinking you're going to see an adult there. Nothing's going to happen at all. Like, I just thought me being present at least was going to deescalate the situation. I'm still kind of like overwhelmed with all this, but um uh it was something like someone do you want to run with it or do you want to run I don't know whatever the term was meaning like fight do you want to run with it and uh I told Katie to stop like we're not doing this and then Kristen her sister got in my face um told me not to call her ghetto but the way she was talking to my daughter was just ghetto is what I said and I told her to just leave I said that we're not doing this and then they just started both going at Okay.
>> So, I was trying to protect my kid and if I wasn't there, I had two sisters against her, but I wasn't planning on doing any of that.
>> Catherine said that she saw Aubrey coming off the bus and shouting when she got there, followed by another girl, Katie. The officer then asked whether she'd heard any words being exchanged between the two.
>> Probably when I took her down to the ground.
>> Okay.
>> And I told her to let go of me cuz she had my hair. Can you explain to me if you made any like physical contact, like a push, grab?
>> I grabbed her. Okay.
>> To get her off my kid.
>> Okay.
>> But then after that, it was just honestly like a blur. Like I've never fought before in my whole entire life.
>> Yeah. Where on Katie's body did you like approximate? Like where did you grab her or push her or >> I mean in the video it looks like I grabbed her from like here.
>> Okay.
>> Just to I didn't push her.
>> Okay. I did I like I've seen the video.
>> No, I'm just saying like some examples to throw at you just so you can >> I didn't want to I really like I really feel like like I feel absolutely like and it's really embarrassing on my part.
Um I get it on the adult, but I'm trying to make sure my kid was okay.
>> Okay.
>> She confirmed she'd only had bruising from the fight and there'd not been a concussion or any broken bones, but she broke down again moments later. Uh throughout the, you know, altercation, did at any point are you trying to pull Aubrey away from Katie and exit the fight and get in your car and get out of there?
>> Yeah, I did that at the end.
>> Okay.
>> And then um after someone with the motorcycle helmet, I don't know if you've seen the video.
>> Yeah.
>> Um that's when I'm saying go like get out. It's done and over with. Um that's when she came up to me and clunkked me in the face with the Stanley Cup. I went to the hospital to get CAT scans as well. Still, it's can't like open my mouth all the way. Yeah. But um >> but I didn't do I didn't in my mind I felt like okay, it's done and over with.
Let's go. And then you see her grabbing it and she hits me right directly in my jaw. And I didn't do anything after that.
>> 100%.
>> I just really really like I really don't want like anything to happen to me cuz I have I mean the school already telling me I can't I might not be able to drive my daughter to school and stuff.
That's a little embarrassing and she's all I got and I'm all she's got. So, this whole thing just sucks.
>> She then claimed she hadn't fought back when she'd had her hair pulled and had been hit in the face because of the age difference. But unfortunately, the fact remained she had physically grabbed a minor. We also have to look at um the fact that this is pretty much a school function and um I think the kids got suspended on Friday if it was right.
>> So we're looking at it also as a zero tolerance thing because this is the first week of school now the second and we've already had a fight 4 days in.
We're going to hopefully set a precedent that other kids can see and not go this route. Um it's just it's just going to be a zero tolerance thing especially especially with adults involved and especially at any type of school function. So but they are she's going to answer for what she did as well. We're we're going to go there after this. After reviewing the video evidence, the officers had to arrest Catherine and charge her with aggravated child abuse because, as one of the officers pointed out, she could have grabbed her daughter and pulled her away instead of grabbing the other girl.
On August 16th, 2025, officers witnessed a young woman driving around with tinted windows. The officers began the traffic stop by explaining the reason for the stop, but she was quick to get her mom on the phone. So legal limit is 32% plus or minus 3. Okay. So 29% is technically what we would consider to be legal and valid. Okay. So >> we have an exception for the kit.
>> Your your driver's side windows are at 5%. Okay. The other thing is in the state of Georgia, you can have a 6 in visor for your windshield. This is beyond 6 in.
>> I'm sorry.
Who is we?
>> So every single person has the same exemption.
>> She's coming up >> as she wanting to speak to us.
>> Okay, that's fine. We'll wait.
>> Stay right there when I come up here.
>> That's fine.
>> Even though the officers were willing to work with them and had agreed to wait for the mom to get there, the mom demanded to know again why her daughter had been stopped. The officer explained it to them a second time, but she didn't want to hear it.
>> You know what? You're full of you guys can sit up here and pull over all kinds of people or some goddamn cover, but you decide to pull over a young female in a ping.
I would probably not do that because the way you act 552 to 410.
>> Okay.
>> It didn't take long for the mom to arrive. And after the angry way she'd spoken to the officers over the phone, it was probably no surprise she was already in fight mode.
>> All right. Well, mom's here. Come on.
Oh.
You got all these police coming over here for this 16-year-old.
>> It's literally just us two.
>> Really? It doesn't look like just you two.
>> Well, now a supervisor.
>> Yeah.
>> So, >> you pulled her over for a goddamn plate cover when you got nothing else to do.
>> HEY, HEY, WHAT?
>> HEY, HEY, WHAT? THIS IS MY DAUGHTER. GO AWAY. This is what GOD underestim Don't resist.
>> Arrest her, too. Yeah, she's going too.
>> Come on, lady.
>> Nobody's Nobody's resisting anything, man.
>> Babe, just stop.
>> Let me lock my car. Can I >> What are you?
>> What are you?
>> STOP MANHANDLING ME, YOU [ __ ] PIG.
>> Stop resisting.
>> Stop manhandling me, you pig. Can you lock my feet for me, man?
>> Where lock it? Come over here.
>> Not trying to pinch.
>> We're not doing this.
>> Not trying to pinch his steer.
>> I'm locking my car, pig.
>> Okay.
>> The officers remained polite and professional as they locked the mom's handcuffs. But when the lead officer pointed out that the situation could have just ended with them merely issuing tickets, she got angrier. No, it couldn't have been because WHEN I CAME UP, I ASKED YOU EXACTLY WHAT YOU WERE PAWNER FOR. DID NOBODY ASK for all that [ __ ] and then you sit up there talking about says too when you'reing supervisor comes over and acts like a [ __ ] >> Well, because you can't control your emotions.
>> My emotions? Are you kidding me?
>> Yeah.
>> We don't act like this in public.
>> Oh, wait. But you do.
>> No, don't do I was telling my daughter.
All right, >> we done told y'all to go away. Stop.
>> We must not interfere.
>> Yeah, cuz y'all were stop yelling on my wife. I'm trying to get her out the way.
>> Well, y'all y'all just have 10 minutes.
How about that?
>> But our daughter's only 16.
>> The whole allowing you guys to come was to explain the stop.
>> Okay. BUT WE WERE COMING OUT AND WE SAID WHAT'S going on. He was not interfering.
We were We were way back there.
>> Definitely interfering.
>> I was not interfering.
I'm trying to get her to come back to make sure she was okay.
>> I was not doing anything, man.
>> Did I not?
>> I was not cussing nobody. I'm coming.
>> Not you, Mr. Watson.
>> Okay. SO, WHY ARE YOU GUYS ARRESTING ME?
>> Because when you get told to go away, >> I was going away. I WAS BACKING UP TELLING MY WIFE TO COME.
>> Stay right here.
>> The officer informed the father that he'd be getting two citations for disorderly conduct and obstruction. He decided to cooperate when the officer asked him to sit in the back of the squad car, but he still had some questions.
>> Huh?
>> How long we been in jail?
>> You're getting two tickets, man. You'll get booked in. You'll get back out.
>> But let me explain something.
>> Can you explain it to my wife?
>> I Let me explain it to you first. Okay.
>> When we made our traffic stop, she was obviously upset. Okay. Of course, understandably so. Right. We explain to her the reason for the stop.
>> She gets on the phone with mom. Mom is cussing us out the entire time. Mom is asking us to stay put so we can explain it to her when mom gets out of the car.
>> I got out the car with an attitude. Man, you got out the car. You got out the car, cooked with an attitude. I heard you scream at mom.
>> But I WASN'T SCREAMING AT NOBODY. I'm just standing here.
>> Yeah, then you approached.
>> I did not approach anybody. No, I did not.
>> Listen to me because I'm trying to be respectful to you.
>> Okay. Not if you keep interrupting me.
Right.
harassing us to stay here and then immediately getting out of the car, screaming, >> cussing at us, and now being racist for no reason when we've done nothing but be respectful to you guys.
>> Okay, but I'm just saying she's being disrespectful or whatever you guys want to call it.
>> Yep. And that's why she's getting two charges and you're getting one.
>> What am I getting charged with?
>> Interfering. The father maintained he hadn't even been near the officers and then claimed he had an exemption for the tints on the car they pulled over.
However, the exemption didn't cover his daughter as well. But even though he didn't agree with the officer's assessment, he remained cooperative. The officers then spoke to his wife.
>> So, I will allow you the same respect that you have that your husband has allowed. Okay.
>> When we initiate the traffic stop, we were nothing but respectful to your daughter. Okay? You're on the phone. You ask us to stay put. We stay put so we can explain the citation to you. Okay?
You don't get to get out of the car screaming at us, making demands, being racist.
You don't get to act like that, especially in public. Do what you do behind closed doors.
But you don't you don't do that to us.
And then on top of us trying to tell you you're under arrest and then you turn and face us like you're about to fight us.
>> Don't overexaggerate.
>> I'm not. That's exactly what happened.
>> Let me turn around and fight you. I'm a 55year-old woman. I'm not going to fight to the police guns.
>> I said try to fight.
>> No. Looking like nothing.
>> All right. Well, come on. Since you're you're incapable of listening.
>> I was listening. I'm just telling you don't overexaggerate.
>> I'm not.
>> Was nobody trying to fight you.
>> Okay.
>> In the end, the daughter got her tickets, which should have been the only outcome of what was supposed to be a simple traffic stop. Her parents, who made everything worse, were transported to jail for their charges.
On May 3rd, 2021, a man named Jeff was stopped for a suspended license plate, but he managed to flee. So, a warrant was issued for his arrest. More than 2 years later, on October 2nd, 2023, a housing dispute finally led the authorities to him.
>> How you doing, Deputy Sheriff's Office?
>> The door coming out.
>> No, no, it's all good. Do you know who Jeffrey is?
>> Yes, there he's the son of the renter I had.
>> Okay.
I'm the property owner. I'm sure you saw my Georgia plates.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
I can give you their address. Tarpon was already here a couple nights ago for >> They don't make notes so we don't see.
>> But we'll make a note so nobody >> I had my It's okay. It's just the midnight knocks. You know, they're it's keeping me up.
>> You stay in here.
>> Yes. I'm moving back. They did enough destruction on this house where I'll be here at least a year to put all the systems back together.
>> So, I'm a little >> That much damage, huh?
>> Yep.
>> The landlord then told the cops that Jeff would hide behind his parents.
Since there was no forwarding order, she couldn't sue him. But then his mom came back and complained about not being able to get her deposit back and started bringing friends around to cause more trouble.
>> No, they're actually just going in and out of the gates. So, I have to go by Ace and get some blocks. My neighbor was the one that was telling me >> what you need to do is if they show back up on the property immediately call Tarpon Springs cuz you're in Tarpon's area and have them come by to do a trespass. If they show back up after the trespass, they go to jail.
>> I would like that. I think she's well aware of the law. So, it makes it a little hard to >> you know, but if you have a confrontation with us and she's going to leave, don't even don't even do anything. Just call >> 6250.
Okay, this is it. We haven't received a deposit check back.
>> She told the officers how she'd had systems guys out to the property who could see him lurking around the back.
The officers then went to his parents' home.
>> I can see in it from here.
Nothing yet.
Hello. Is Jeff here?
>> Jeffrey here?
>> No.
>> Is that home? We just need to speak with him. Do you know where he's at?
>> No.
>> Does he live here?
>> He stays here sometimes.
>> Oh, okay. Yeah.
>> You don't know where he's living?
>> Where you know?
>> Oh, he's got a girlfriend.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, okay. Yeah. We just need to speak with him. But you don't know where his girlfriend lives. You got a card or something?
>> Yeah.
>> H. Sorry. Actually, I'm out of cards.
>> Well, if you just tell him to give us a call at the sheriff's office. We just need to speak with her. It's no big deal. Okay.
>> All right. Thanks. Have a good day.
>> The officers weren't convinced by the mom's claims that Jeff was living with his girlfriend and that she didn't know the girlfriend's address. For one thing, it was his vehicle sitting on the driveway. So, they tried knocking on the front door again.
He say he sees her sometimes.
>> Hey, how are you, sir? Hey, so this is Jeff's vehicle.
>> Yeah.
>> How did he get to his girlfriend's?
>> I have I have no idea, but I know that's not running very well. I think the brakes are >> So, here's the deal. I'm going to sit down the end of the street all day long.
If I see him leave here, I'm gonna come back and I'm gonna arrest you and your wife as well for harboring a felon.
>> Okay. Right now, he is a felon.
He has a warrant and he's a felon. And the only way the warrant's going to be cleared, >> okay, is for fleeing law enforcement.
Okay. So, yep. Really? So, if he's here, you guys are harboring a felon and you both will go to jail for harboring a felon. So, if he's here, he's just better off just come with us and get it done. He has a bond. He can bond out. So that would be the best.
>> Does that make sense to you? So just have him come out so we can talk to him.
>> Let me go see.
>> Okay.
>> While the father checked if his son was in there, the officers caught sight of Jeff through the window. But the officers couldn't be sure he was going to come to the door.
>> We'll see.
We stay parked down the street. I got nothing else better to do.
>> Do you see him there?
>> I can see him there cuz they he went over. She was standing there and they stopped and talked face to face for a second.
So >> yeah, they would have already been back by now. They're talking to you. I need to get up.
>> Yeah, cuz if it wasn't like she's not here, >> can you see?
>> No, >> you can't.
>> You can see the mom in the back.
>> Every now and then.
>> I thought I heard a screen door close, too.
>> The officers then proceeded to walk around the property to try and figure out what was going on, but since they could see movement around the back, they had to move in before Jeff could escape again.
2105.
>> Hey, where's Jeff?
>> You have a warrant?
>> Yeah, we do. He's got a warrant. Yeah, we're with him now. Get him.
>> Huh?
>> He's got a warrant. Have Jeff come out.
We saw him there. We know Jeff's here.
>> I know. I'm just asking.
>> Get Have Jeff come out.
>> Excuse me.
>> We already saw he's here.
>> Where's he at?
>> He's got a warrant >> right now. This is not right. I don't have What do you What is going on?
>> We'll get more information.
>> You don't You guys can't even tell me.
>> We'll let you know.
>> So, you know more than we do. You fled from law.
>> No, I didn't. I never No, I did not, sir.
>> Well, we listen, we don't even know the case. The judge wants to see it. That's basically it.
>> The judge dropped my >> finally after more than 2 years, Jeff was caught. He was charged with fleeing a traffic stop and driving on a suspended license and was sentenced to one day in jail. When parents try to save their spoiled kids from being arrested, they only make things worse for their children and for themselves.
