[00:00:13]That is a very easy one to remember. You see ozone, you're doing ozoneis. What does ozoneis do? Ozonalysis cleaves carbonarbon pi bonds. And we're going to pull apart the molecule wherever there is a carbonarbon double bond. And then because we're in reductive conditions, we're not going to get any caroxilic acids or anything. We're just going to get aldahhides and ketones. What we're going to do is we're going to cleave at the carbonarbon pi bonds. And now let's pull everything apart. So what do we get? This first fragment over here.

Just to be very clear, we will leave everything in the configuration as it looks on the starting material. Then let's take this other fragment here.
