Everybody is happy that their usage limit got doubled, but the one thing that nobody noticed is that they only doubled the 5-hour daily window, but not the weekly limits. So, now you're going to burn your entire weekly limits twice as fast and spend the rest of the week using Codex. After the GPT-5.5 got released, the Opus-4.7 had some issues. A lot of people switched to Codex because the model was as good as Opus, but you get very good usage limits. So, Anthropic just needed a headline which sounds like a gift to their customers, but it's not.
