Young Sureno Took 🔫 2 Sch00l Trying To Smoke Norteno I Central Valley Mx Mafia Surenos Indictment 🔵Added:
These arrests stopped seven planned violent attacks, including a possible school shooting. They say one young suspect brought a gun to a school in Kingsburg with plans to shoot a rival gang member. Now, each suspect said >> Hey, this is crazy [ __ ] I was just reading some comments about how Sureños don't got nothing cracking up north and saying that Sureños are not active up north. And long behold, I just got a article about a Mexican Mafia indictment that just went [music] down out there in the 559 Central Valley.
Well, it just trips me the [ __ ] out how a bunch of Norteños can be on the comment section talking about Sureños ain't active, they ain't got nothing popping up state in a place where Sureños are outnumbered, 1 in 10, 1% Sureños up state, 9% Norteños up state.
Mind you, there's no established Norteño gangs in Southern California.
They've tried to establish gangs out there in Southern California and they got run out. They just couldn't [music] hang with the program out there with the Southern United Raza. And I'm just speaking facts. And you got Sureños that established hoods up there in Northern California and boom, big RICO indictment. Again, in a place where Sureños aren't welcome >> [music] >> and are quote-unquote aren't active up north. Let's break down what happened.
>> [music] >> Trip out. The battle for influence in California's Central Valley is heating up once again.
And according to law enforcement, Sureño gangs are becoming more active than ever in areas historically known as Norteño territory.
Recently, a massive law enforcement crackdown known as Operation Hands Down shook the San Joaquin Valley after a 2-month undercover investigation. The FBI served 43 search warrants targeting alleged Mexican Mafia associates and Sureno gang members connected to serious [music] crimes ranging from homicides and firearms trafficking to narcotics sales, [music] robberies, and assaults. By the end of the operation, law enforcement had already arrested 69 suspects, seized 73 firearms, recovered over 55 lb of methamphetamine, pounds of cocaine, and fentanyl [music] powder, and nearly $156,000 in cash believed to be connected to gang activity. And to a lot of people on the outside looking in, this operation highlights a trend that has been developing for years. Sureno gangs.
Sureno stands for Southern United Raza.
For anybody that's new to my channel, it's a Mexican-American organization.
[music] Once primarily concentrated in Southern California, have continued expanding their presence throughout the Central Valley. Cities that were traditionally dominated by Norteño influence have seen increasing Sureno activity as members relocate, establishing neighborhoods, recruiting younger members, and attempt to gain a stronger foothold in that region, Northern Cali.
The FBI has also pointed to the dangers of younger gang members becoming involved in these rivalries.
In a separate case, investigators uncovered allegations involving a Southside teenager who allegedly plotted to bring a firearm to school and target a Norteño affiliate, another student his own age. The incident serves as a reminder of how gang conflicts can spill far beyond the streets and impact entire communities. Operation Hands Down involved more than 500 law enforcement personnel, including SWAT teams, K9 units, ghetto birds, correctional officers, and federal agencies working together to disrupt the organized Mexican Mafia throughout the Central Valley. And as law enforcement continues its efforts, one thing remains clear.
The struggle for influence between north and south gangs in California, Central Valley to be exact. And I mean, this goes for Visalia, too, Tulare County, uh Fresno, so on and so forth. It continues to be a major concern for local law enforcement up north. As you guys already know, I stay bringing you the stories making headlines across the streets and communities in California.
Disclaimer, my content is for news reporting, education, >> [music] >> and commentary purposes only.
It does not promote or glorify criminal activity or gang violence. With [music] that said, if you guys want to stay tapped in with gang content, make sure you all leave a like, comment, subscribe, and you guys already know, stay keeping you all in the loop. Y'all keep it >> on the swivel on my end.
>> Operation hands down, from the ground and from the skies, law enforcement agencies ended a 2-month-long undercover investigation with a large-scale takedown that targeted Central Valley Mexican Mafia and Sureno gang members.
69 arrests, 73 firearms seized, 55 lb of methamphetamine, 3 lb of cocaine, and 10 g of powdered fentanyl recovered, and $165,000 in criminal cash collected.
>> The people we wanted to get, we got them. And they're off the streets.
>> Each suspect wanted for serious crimes ranging from shootings to robberies. Of those arrested, five were teens.
>> Detectives identified gang members as young as 14 years old, possessing, buying, selling, and training firearms across multiple counties.
>> The seized weapons on display, most were stolen.
>> This gun has no serial numbers here where they typically would be. This gun is a ghost gun.
>> The operation dismantled key gang leadership. Now in custody, Sefon Coronado, secretary of the Mexican Mafia. Sheriff Zanoni tells me he collected gang taxes from inmates and led operations in and out of jail.
>> He was a controller, he was a dealer, he was handling it for them.
>> Through the investigation, detectives solved a 2023 murder in Sanger, arresting Eduardo Garcia, and brought justice to several other violent crimes.
>> Including a gang-related shooting in the city of Sanger, an armed robbery of a field worker in Selma, and the robbery of a juvenile victim in Fresno.
>> Officials estimate these arrests stopped seven planned violent attacks, including a possible school shooting. They say one young suspect brought a gun to a school in Kingsburg with plans to shoot a rival gang member. Now each suspect set to appear in court, the DA tasked with prosecuting each case.
>> We're not just arresting individuals, we're disrupting entire criminal operations.
