Citizens have a legal right to record police officers in public spaces without obtaining permits, and officers cannot demand that citizens remove recording devices or provide legal justification for their orders, as such demands may violate First Amendment protections and Fourth Amendment rights against unreasonable searches and seizures.

Tyrant Female Officers Get SHUT DOWN on Camera! | First Amendment AuditAñadido:
Morning.
>> Good morning.
>> You work for parking.
>> Sir, you cannot be recording later on.
Like what?
>> I'm just saying like uh you have any permits to be recording inside the >> I'm I don't understand what you're asking me >> cuz you weren't recording inside the booth. You were looking for something specific.
>> Yeah, you can say that.
>> That's what I'm saying. Like you have a permit to be recorded.
>> Do I need a permit >> from parks department?
>> Do I need a permit?
>> I'm just asking you.
>> Oh, okay.
That's a cute back.
>> Okay. So, you're getting you're getting too close.
>> Yeah. You're getting too close to mine.
>> Yes.
It's true. Yes. Yes. You're getting too close to her.
>> You're too close to law.
>> Yes. You need to You need to move forward.
>> You can record from here.
>> Yes. You You record whatever you want, but move forward. You're like in our space right now.
>> You can stand there.
>> Yes.
>> This encounter starts with tension from the very first second. Officers try issuing commands while the auditor immediately pushes back, refusing to accept authority without legal justification. What should have been a simple interaction quickly turns into a battle over control, rights, and accountability.
>> I'm right there cuz I don't feel safe to have you that near to me. Right.
>> You're the one with the gun, man. I don't have a gun.
>> That doesn't mean anything.
>> So, I don't feel safe with you coming up to me.
>> I don't know anything. I don't know you.
I don't know you.
>> What's more important, public safety or police safety?
>> Leave him. Leave him. He's just looking for an excuse to argue.
I didn't say anything to you. I didn't say anything. Am I talking to anybody?
>> You're talking about me, right? You're talking about me in front of my face.
>> I have to do whatever I want, too.
Right. You do?
>> No, you can't because you're at work.
>> Okay. Have a good day.
>> Have a blessed day.
>> You're a public servant.
>> Jesus says, "Have a good day."
>> Right.
>> Have a good day. Do you need anything from us?
>> No. You got a bottle of water?
>> Okay. Tell them good.
>> There's water in the concession today.
>> Thank you. I appreciate it.
>> Ain't your car since you turn your body cam on?
>> No, I don't have it. I have one. You don't have a right to know what. Yeah, you can write your name on that for me.
>> Yes, I could write it. Definitely.
>> What's more important, man? Police safety or public safety?
>> Clearly. Clearly police safety is more important. It's three of you.
>> Three guns?
>> Three guns? I have no gun. Whatever.
>> All I have is a camera. You worried about my camera?
>> I'm not worried about camera.
>> I did. I never said about a very nice camera.
>> So why are you so worried about me? I'm not a threat to you.
>> Say like you were too close to us.
>> Okay, that's not that's not a law.
Oh, I don't know. I don't know your intentions. If we was in time, you never asked me my intentions, >> sir. I don't follow orders.
>> So, if you want, if you want, >> I don't follow unlawful orders, ma'am.
>> So, so you are doing it right now cuz I'm giving you a law. I'm telling you.
>> As the conversation escalates, emotions begin replacing professionalism. The auditor demands answers grounded in law while officers respond with directives instead of explanations. Cameras continue rolling, capturing every reaction and exposing how quickly authority can shift when challenged in public.
>> People that don't there's many people that are autistic that don't know how to read but can use technology.
>> I'm telling you, please just step a little bit back. If you want to keep staying standing next to us, just put your mask down so we can see your face.
>> I'm okay. I'm okay.
>> Okay. Okay. So, step back.
>> I don't want to make you blush.
>> Step back.
>> I'm okay. I'm waiting for a call.
>> No, no, but you can step back.
>> I know I can't.
>> Okay. So, >> please don't touch me, ma'am.
>> So, step back. I don't I don't want you to touch me, ma'am. I'm not I don't want you next to us. I don't want next to us.
>> I'm not a threat to you.
>> So, put your mask down.
>> Why?
>> Cuz I don't I don't feel safe.
>> I also have the fourth amendment. I can hide my identity if I want.
>> Okay. So, step back. You right like you right in our face.
>> That's fine. You're not in no danger, ma'am. My intent is to record.
>> How we do know?
>> Cuz I'm telling you. Oh yeah.
>> Are you telling us? You think that's enough?
>> You think everybody in New York is a threat to you? That's what you think?
>> Apparently, cuz that's what you're doing right now with us.
>> All I'm doing is recording you.
>> That's why that's your intention.
>> No problem.
>> All I'm doing is recording, ma'am. I didn't even say anything to you.
>> If you didn't say anything to me, we are not good.
>> If you didn't say anything to me, >> so >> and looking for conversation.
>> We're in I didn't ask you. I didn't speak to you, ma'am. You spoke to me.
>> How's your day going, sir?
>> So far so good. I can't complain. Thank you for asking. It's a beautiful day, right?
>> Sure is.
>> It's a concert later on today if you're interested.
>> The situation reaches a turning point when physical contact is made. The auditor accuses the officer of assault while officers insist they are maintaining order. In moments like these, every action matters because once force enters the equation, the entire encounter changes instantly.
>> Cuz we can read, right?
>> Oh, wow. It's about being polite and courteous.
>> Why? It's that's about pronunciation.
It's not even about knowing.
>> It's still about being polite.
>> Pronunciation. Everybody can pronounce.
Some people say about you can say it however you want. Everybody has a different type of >> Do you know the rate of autism in America right now? And you're just assuming that everybody could read and dyslexia.
>> Do you have anything else?
>> No, I'm chilling. I'm just recording.
What's the problem?
Excuse me. I'm going to walk this way. I don't want you to get scared. Okay.
>> You so worried about police safety and you took the job.
>> Isn't that ironic? You signed up to be a cop?
>> Yes.
>> So, you signed up to be worried your whole career?
You got to know how to feel out situations. Clearly, I'm not a threat to you. I have no bulge, no nothing. Just a camera.
>> You have a bag. We don't know how you have >> Okay. How long is it going to by the time I go in my bag, you can shoot me?
>> What? Why do I know your intentions? So, you having >> What is my face going to tell you? What is my face going to tell you, ma'am?
Please tell me what what my face >> I don't know. You can have something in your neck. I don't see it.
>> Yeah, >> it's a possibility.
>> It's pretty farfetched.
>> Well, that's what they >> It's a possibility, but it's a stretch.
>> Well, but that's one of the many.
>> I'm not here to harm you. I said it four times already. My I'm here to record.
>> That's not an evidence.
>> Okay.
>> Cuz at one time you you can do whatever you want.
>> So can you.
>> So >> because you have qualified immunity. I don't have qualified immunity.
>> You don't have qualified immunity.
That's why you're recording. You have a form of protection as >> you guys have a form of protection. You think that you're just you have no protection >> and there's no accountability with NYPD.
You do you care about CCRB?
>> Really? Really?
>> Do you care about CCRB? No, you don't.
Cuz you know it doesn't do that. CCRB can't do anything.
>> That's not That's a lie. Completely lies.
>> You need to do your research.
>> You need to do your research. Do your research then.
>> You know how much body cam footage went missing that CCB requested?
>> Exactly.
>> That you guys don't you guys don't produce? say, "Have a good day."
>> What makes the confrontation more intense is the repeated demand for a legal basis behind every order. The auditor continuously asks one question.
What law was broken instead of clear answers, frustration grows on both sides, creating an atmosphere where accountability becomes the center of attention?
>> Loves to see me on Facebook. All right.
So, we're here because apparent Oh, I'm sorry. I got excited.
>> Good.
>> All right. We're here because apparently you're doing inappropriate things and saying inappropriate things and people are calling on you.
>> Well, that's a lie and I'm going to vouch for that.
>> Sir, stop >> singing.
>> No, I'm not going to stop.
>> I'm talking to him. I'm talking to you.
You interfere with my investigation with him.
>> I don't care about your investigation.
He's my friend.
>> Then you're going to be arrested for obstruction. All right. So, I would prefer you to let me finish my investigation.
>> Okay. Without interruption.
Sir, can I have you sit over here?
>> No, absolutely not. I'm his Hey, I'm his attorney and I'm advising him not to speak to you.
>> Claim your fifth amendment right. Fifth amendment right right now. Fifth amendment. Don't speak to >> the last warning. You're interfering with my investigation. If you continue, then I'm going to have to remove you.
>> Yes, [snorts] sir.
>> No, I don't think you can do that.
>> I tried to stop legal things.
>> Please let me consequence of it.
>> Ma'am, I sat here and I sung some music.
That's what I did.
>> Okay. Well, why are people calling us on you then? Tell us that you're being inappropriate.
>> Inappropriate?
>> I don't know. That's what I'm asking you.
>> Yeah, but what are they saying? I >> Fifth Amendment. Fifth Amendment.
>> Are you interrupting me again?
>> Are you interrupting my investigation again?
>> As his attorney, >> you're not an attorney.
>> I am.
>> Show me your lot of great, >> ma'am. My >> What college graduate?
>> It's called the US Constitution.
>> And we don't have it. Be careful. I do have They can do things and throw you in jail.
By this point, the hypocrisy can't be ignored. The officers keep preaching about safety, yet their own behavior shows anything but. They speak as if they're in danger, even though they stand armed, armored, and surrounded by backup. Meanwhile, it's the citizen, unarmed, and calm, who truly has reason to feel unsafe. The cameraman calls it out plainly, challenging their logic with precision and calm authority. He asks the hard questions. What does a person's expression have to do with criminal intent? What is the value of a badge if the one wearing it doesn't understand the law it stands for? Each word cuts through the noise, stripping away the illusion of authority and revealing the deeper truth. That too many who swear to serve the public have mistaken control for justice. Still, the man behind the lens never loses his composure. He remains firm but respectful, rooted in the law, using truth as his weapon and reason as his armor.
>> I have an attorney and and listen to my story. I'm sitting here in hiding because my attorney Richard Manzo bought our office in Titusville and the Titusville Police Department know I'm right here.
>> Name badge number on Tik Tok.
>> Okay.
>> I got screenshots. I got Come. Can I go get the card of the investigation?
>> The reason why I'm here is because people >> My false accusations got nothing to do with I'm doing. So, people here called us >> to come speak to you >> because they feel I Well, >> I'll explain it to you again. I've said three times already, but I don't have >> Yeah, but that's not the case.
>> I don't HAVE ANY CRAYONS OR PUPPETS to explain it any simpler to you. All right. The fact that you're doing something over here. I don't know what you're doing.
>> She can't tell you what it is. Listen.
Yes.
>> Cuz there's no law being broken here.
What I'm being told is that people >> it is total harassment >> loud >> and that and that >> ma'am you need to deescalate >> take the fifth amendment say nothing more >> as as you're say say no more words >> I'm doing is trying to tell you that I've been sitting here >> you go and talk you go and talk to the people that called you >> I I I would like a supervisor too >> right bring a supervisor over here because you are out of blind.
No crime has been committed.
>> When supervisors arrive, the focus shifts from confrontation to damage control. Rather than calming tensions completely, the discussion becomes about policies, complaints, and body camera footage. The auditor argues that transparency is the only protection citizens truly have during encounters like this.
>> You're not going to hurt this man. Not with me standing here.
>> I'm just trying to explain myself. What it is is people are calling in saying you're serving the peace. I'm being too loud. All they want to do is just quiet it down.
>> Okay.
>> Well, I'm a witness and say he hadn't done that.
>> Don't interrupt him. You already >> sing. Okay.
>> That that's the problem.
>> Deescalate, ma'am.
>> So, if you're going to your people, which I'm not saying you are, don't sing to them. Okay.
>> I was just saying >> keep yourself and keep you guys. Okay.
>> Yes.
>> Do that for me.
>> You're right.
>> You're right. If that's their complaint, I can comply with a complaint.
>> Perfect.
>> You know, I'm complaining about the people that complained. Okay.
>> Are you going to do some of that now? Go talk to the people that complain.
>> All right. I'm complaining about the people that complain. So, you go and and harass them. This man has done nothing else.
>> He's done nothing wrong.
>> My My friend asked me to sing because I told him I'm an entertainer. I'm a performer. I've been a former drag queen.
>> Oh, I'm going to get a million views.
>> And I can appreciate that. I can appreciate that. But what you have to understand, too, is that this is a public park. This isn't public. This isn't a private residence. It's a public park. So some people learning are trying to play. Okay.
>> But I did nothing derogatory.
>> Right. But if we get the call then we have to at least get you to quiet it down.
>> And and you got my word that that's so >> period because I'm not here to disrespect y'all. I'm not here to disrespect the Was he was he hurting anybody when you walk? As tempers rise further, the exchange transforms into something larger than a single incident.
The auditor claims the system protects its own. While officers insist procedures are being followed correctly, every second recorded on camera becomes potential evidence in the ongoing debate over policing and public rights.
>> Can >> No, because I don't like what's going down here. I don't, man. here for me though and I love you brother but I want to solve this with these guys and then let that die off so they can go do what they really need to do >> because I mean what's fair is what's fair >> what's your name >> David [clears throat] Fowler I'm the drag queen pastor >> and then I've been doing that and he's very famous get a lot of hate and I'm really here >> so David you know why we're here we're all good you're going to get >> all good man I they will not hear me sing one more All right. Listen to your actual lawyer next time on some street lawyer. Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> All right. Well, >> you already met you you already met his real lawyer.
>> Thank you for what you >> By the end, the encounter leaves behind more questions than answers. Accusations of misconduct demands for accountability and frustration from both sides dominate the scene. Regardless of perspective, one thing becomes clear. Public recording has become a powerful tool in modern interactions between citizens and law enforcement.
