Jannik Sinner completed the Golden Masters by winning all nine Masters 1000 events in his career, becoming only the second player to achieve this feat after Novak Djokovic, and he did so at age 24, younger than Djokovic was when he first accomplished it at age 31. Sinner also won all three clay court Masters 1000 titles (Monte Carlo, Madrid, and Rome) in the 2026 season, becoming the only player since Rafael Nadal in 2010 to accomplish this feat. Additionally, he won his 10th Masters 1000 title without dropping a single set in any of those finals, and he broke Novak Djokovic's record of 31 consecutive Masters 1000 match wins by reaching 34 consecutive wins.

Unbelievable Jannik Sinner completes Career Golden Masters continues historic Masters 1000 run 2026.Added:
Hello, everybody. Today, back in another video. All right, my tennis friends all over the world. Y N Sinner has just won Rome title for the first time in his career and has completed the Golden Masters 1000 titles, winning all the nine Masters 1000 events and becoming only the second player to ever do it after Novak Djokovic, who did it twice, won all the Masters 1000 title two times. Uh and first time Novak did it was in 2018 as 31 years old. Y N Sinner, he does it even younger than Novak. He does it as 24 years old, winning all the Masters 1000 title, something I said he will do already in Madrid during that Madrid tournament. I said that Yannick will win Madrid, Yannick will win Rome, and Yannick will also win French Open. Yannick will go on a rampage in the entire clay court season and not lose one single match. One tournament away he is to sweep the entire clay court season without losing one single match. He has won all the all three Masters 1000 titles on clay this year.
He has, by the way, won all the five Masters 1000 titles that have been played in this 2026 season. He won Indian Wells, he won Miami, he won Monte Carlo, he won Madrid, and now he won Rome. He has won six consecutive Masters 1000 titles going back to last year, 2025, since Paris. He won Paris last year, then won Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Madrid, and now Rome.
And he has won, like I said, uh all five Masters 1000 titles this year.
That and in all the five that he has played, so the record to to win as as much Masters 1000 titles in a year is Novak Djokovic has that record. He has won six Masters six Masters 1000 titles in one season.
I think that Sinner will break this record. I'm completely convinced about that.
If he's healthy, he has won five already this year. It is four left to play. So, I think he will both equal Novak's record and break Novak's record in winning Masters 1000 titles in one season.
Now, he won his 10th Masters 1000 title in his career.
Uh What is significant about that is that all these 10 Masters 1000 titles that he has won in all those finals, he has actually not dropped one single set. He He has won all these Masters 1000 titles in those finals in straight sets, in 10 of those.
That is pretty significant significant, according to me.
He won his 29th title in his career. Uh and he became also the second Italian [clears throat] player to win the Rome title in 50 years. Last time was Panatta in 1976, which was exactly 50 years ago.
So, Jannik Sinner is impressing my tennis fans around the world. Yeah, the tour is not super strong.
I've said it many times.
But, it is still impressive.
He's still impressive. You must be impressed when a guy wins so many titles and wins so many Masters and wins so many matches consis- consis- consecut- con- in in consis- in a row, in so many matches in a row.
Uh He has now won 34 Masters 1000 titles in a row, if I'm not mistaken.
When he won against Medvedev, he won his 32nd in a row. He broke Novak's record. Novak had a 31 winning streak in Masters 1000 matches. So, Sinner broke that record when he defeated uh not Medvedev. I mean Rublev. When he defeated Rublev in the quarterfinals, Yannick won his 32nd Masters 1000 match.
And then against Medvedev, he won his 33rd in the semifinals. And now in the final against Ruud, he won his 34th consecutively Masters 1000 win.
>> [sighs and gasps] >> So, he's impressing. He's impressive. Let's be honest here.
He he's impressive.
He's coming up with some unbelievable numbers here.
Federer and Nadal never won all the Masters. Yeah, they had they had tougher times. We cannot close our eyes for that. Federer was competing against the greatest clay court player of all time, Rafael Nadal. So, Federer could never won win Monte Carlo and Rome, even though he was close in winning Rome 2006, when he had two two championship points uh in that epic thriller final, one of the greatest clay court matches of all time, according to me. Exactly 20 years ago, by the way.
So, but he never won Rome and Monte Carlo, and Nadal never won in uh Miami, Shanghai, and Paris. So, even Nadal, he had also tougher times winning all the Masters due to because of Federer and Djokovic competing as those two hard court beasts, it's never never easy. So, Sinner has it easier than those two, Federer and Nadal.
But nevertheless, it is still very very impressive.
It is not easy going out there every single week, every single month, every single match, and delivering. We saw how he struggled against Medvedev in the semifinal. I knew he would have much easier time against Ruud. I actually thought that he would win in straight sets. I said to my to to my friends, I think Sinner wins in two close sets. And it was exactly like that, 6-4 6-4, Sinner won.
Talking about the match, Sinner was the better player, of course. That's why he won. He started not He was not the better player in the beginning of the match where Ruud won eight of the first nine points of the match and was had a early break in the in the beginning of the first set, but of course Sinner came back, leveled the match, and also broke into toward the end of the first set and won that first set 6-4. And then Sinner broke early in the second set and never looked back after that and won 6-4 6-4. Sinner does two aces, zero double faults, lands 64% first serve, won unbelievably 83% lands first serve, won 50% lands second serve, broke Ruud's serve three times out of five break points opportunities that he had, did 26 winners and 15 unforced errors only. So, he does 11 more winners than unforced errors.
Casper Ruud. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm Casper does two aces, three double faults. Uh So, No, I'm I'm sorry. He does three aces, Casper Ruud, and two double faults.
Lands 58% first serve.
He needs to be over over 60 to have a chance against this kind of a baseline beast like like Jannik Sinner who barely misses any shots from the baseline. So, he needs to have a little more more behind his first serve, more percentage more he he needs to land more more percentage of of first serves, according to me. He won uh >> [sighs] >> 60 4% lands first serve, if I'm not mistaken. Uh Casper Ruud, that is not super super high. Uh uh he won uh 50 for 48% behind his second serve. So, the behind the points winning behind second serve, it was even Steven.
But, the big difference was winning points behind his first serve, where Casper won only 64% behind his first serve.
Sinner won 83% behind his first serve.
You have a huge difference there.
Uh and Casper broke Sinner's serve only once, which was in the beginning of first set, out of two break out of two break point opportunities that he had in the entire match.
And did all in all 22 winners and 23 unforced errors, Casper Ruud. The tactic was pretty easy to to to see. You see, Sinner was pinning Casper Ruud's backhand, because we all know that Casper's strengths are his forehand and he's pretty he has a pretty good serve, Andre Agassi, according to me. So, Sinner was pinpointing Casper Ruud's backhand corner. So, Casper was not able to hit many many many many forehands, because he's not stupid, Sinner. He's a smart player. He wants to avoid his forehand as much as possible, which I knew coming into this match that that will be that will be the case and it was exactly like I anticipated. So, uh yeah, big congrats to Sinner.
He's a He has won all three Masters 1000 all three clay court Masters 1000 titles this year.
Uh the only other player who has ever done it in the history of tennis since these Masters 1000 events came in ATP tour since 1990 1990 was Rafael Nadal back in 2010. He did it once, the clay court goat, Rafael Nadal.
So, Sinner now is the only second player, 16 years later, to do that, to win Monte Carlo, Madrid, and Rome in the same season. Something that, of course, uh Federer never did, because uh, Federer never won Rome and Monte Carlo and not even Djokovic. Djokovic has won all the clay court masters.
Uh, but he never won all the clay court masters in the same year.
That is what Sinner has just done in this 2026 season. The first player after Rafa Nadal who did that back in 2010.
All right guys, I hope you enjoyed the video. If you did, give me a thumbs up.
