[00:01:25]He’d been supplying intelligence on the Vargas Cartel.

[00:01:28]Before he died, he contacted one of our undercover agents stationed there.

[00:01:35]Now, Mexican federal police are opening an investigation.

[00:01:38]And they’ve asked for the help of the DOA and US Coast Guard.

[00:01:42]The undercover agent's name was Agent Antonio Estevez.

[00:01:46]And only 2 hours after the death of the informant, did our agent go quiet.

[00:01:50]Until we know what happened to him, we’re treating this as a missing agent situation.

[00:01:57]As you you might've guessed, he is the leader of the Vargas Cartel.

[00:02:01]He controls trafficking routes along the Gulf and operates out of Cayo Perico.

[00:02:05]He is highly dangerous and is who we will be looking for.
