The Best Teenager At The World Cup NOT Named Lamine Yamal
Added:The top five teenage ballers at the World Cup not called Lamine Yamal. We all know Lamine is elite, but this summer will also be the stage for some other world-class talents to shine. In fifth, I've got Croatia's Luka Vušković.
He established himself as one of Europe's best defensive talents last season, becoming a regular starter in the Bundesliga for Hamburg, whilst also scoring six goals, too. In a Croatian side that's aging, his potential partnership with Joško Gvardiol shows real hope for the future. Next up in fourth, I've gone with Brazilian Ryan. I have to say, his inclusion in Ancelotti's 26-man squad was a bit of a surprise, but with Estêvão and Rodrigo injured, it's given him a huge opportunity. After joining Bournemouth in January, he managed seven goal contributions in just 13 starts. Insane for a 19-year-old who came in with no experience of European football. In third place is Mexico's 17-year-old wonderkid Gilberto Mora. He's the youngest goal scorer in Liga MX history and could be drawing attention from some big European clubs this summer. In second, though, I've got Spain's Pau Cubarsí. This guy has already racked up over 100 appearances for Barcelona at just 19 years old. He's already an elite passer of the ball, which makes him perfect for Spain's high-possession style of play. But in first place, this final player could be one of the breakout stars of this World Cup. He'll be one of the Ivory Coast's main threats, and he's in very high demand across Europe after some electric performances for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. You've got to watch out for Xavi Simons.
