In A Course in Miracles, healing is never an isolated event because at the deepest level we are not separate—when one mind opens to truth, it radiates outward to all minds, making every step toward truth a gift to the world. Similarly, heaven is not a distant place but a state of mind we choose in the present moment by deciding to exchange fear for love and illusion for truth, which is the most natural decision since it returns us to what we already are.

Your Healing Is a Gift to the Whole WorldAdded:
We have reached lesson 149 of the workbook.
This is a review lesson.
And the central thought that accompanies this section is My mind holds only what I think with God.
Two ideas are reviewed today.
Each of them, when truly understood, has the power to completely change the way we see ourselves and the world.
Lesson 137.
When I am healed, I am not healed alone.
Healing in the course is never an isolated event.
When the mind opens to the truth, when a thought of fear is exchanged for a thought of love, that shift is not contained within us alone.
It radiates outward.
This happens because at the deepest level, we are not separate.
What occurs in one mind affects all minds.
The healing of one is, in some way, the healing of all.
This completely transforms the way we see our own spiritual path.
It is not merely personal.
Every step we take toward truth is a gift we offer to the world, even if we never know how or to whom.
When I am healed, I am not healed alone.
Lesson 138.
Heaven is the decision I must make.
Heaven is not a place we reach after death.
It is a state of mind we choose now.
And the course is very clear.
This is a decision, not something that happens to us, something we choose.
At every moment, we are choosing between fear and love, between illusion and truth, between the ego and God.
Heaven is not far away. It is available now in this moment to whoever decides to look in that direction.
The decision may seem difficult, but the course reminds us that it is, in truth, the most natural of all because it is the decision to return to what we already are.
Heaven is the decision I must make.
The course suggests we dedicate a few moments today to these two ideas.
Begin with the central thought, My mind holds only what I think with God.
Then reflect on each of the ideas in the lesson, allowing them to be quietly received.
There is no need to analyze them, simply receive them.
If the mind wanders, gently return to the central thought, without judgment, two simple ideas, but transforming.
In healing ourselves, we heal together with all because we were never truly separate, and in choosing heaven now, we discover that it was always within our reach.
My mind holds only what I think with God.
May this thought be with you.
Thank you so much. Until the next lesson.
