[00:00:05]>> Well, happy Friday to everybody out there. I'm meteorologist Scott we have got a day that's just going to crush it.

[00:00:12]We're going to get to the sunshine a little faster than we did yesterday and we're kind of in that phase where that's what we're going to see. We also have a heat dome building up which is we'll talk about here in a second. Looking gorgeous on these webcams. I just can't get enough. I'm a web weather cam would be a more accurate thing. I'm I'm addicted to my weather cams as you well know now. Mid 70s yesterday cuz of that those clouds just kind of lingered around but we are definitely heading towards it a little more quickly today.

[00:00:36]Now, what's going on? Not much happening around our area but we go expand out a little bit. Got a low pressure system basically right off of British Columbia or total over towards Vancouver Island.

[00:00:46]We also have some monsoonal moisture which kind of wraps around this way, right? Okay, well, that's creating a little bit of a funnel. So, that's why we're getting just some weird weather around our area but but proper Willamette Valley, Umpqua Basin looking great. Winds are nice and calm. So, we're actually just sort of in in the middle of just nice quiet stuff but we are going to start off with the clouds and go to the sunshine.

[00:01:08]We're going to get some heat coming up here pretty quick and then Sunday or Monday will not be a Sunday for us but let's talk about the upcoming weather pattern. Sunday we're going to see the clouds on the increase rolling through it. We're just getting grazed by a little bit of a system. It's not going to have a huge impact [clears throat] other than it's going to bring around some clouds. That heat dome that's building up. Here's that low that we've been talking about. Watch how it pushes off to the north and then yeah, we're going to be starting to bring in some warmer temperatures, some above average temperatures coming our way sooner rather than later. All right, so here's your future cast some 50s to start off your day some as you see some clouds gone by by lunchtime. We're into the mid 70s and by dinner time into the low 80s.

[00:01:47]So, gorgeous day really kind of perfection. Winds sure going to be out there a little bit but nothing out of the ordinary. Similar conditions on Saturday rolling in perfect looking at some mid 80s by around dinner time on your Saturday. So, a gorgeous little stretch of weather.

[00:02:03]>> [laughter] >> Clouds are out around Bandon. They're going to be a little bit annoying, I'm quite sure for many of us. But, Willamette Valley, Umpqua Basin, all into the mid 80s today with some gorgeous conditions.

[00:02:14]And then, we're going to start off with a little bit on the cool side tomorrow, but boy, I love it when we get into these as this heat dome builds up, we're going to appreciate these uh colder uh temperatures, especially in the mornings. The coast is a little bit frustrating cuz we do have some pockets where it just gets really cloudy, and then it's sunny. You know, Florence is sunny and Newport is cloudy. It's just been an amazing little stretch there, but that's not really too far off the mark for the media coast. Love the Oregon coast. Uh mountains looking great. There's that system that's going to kind of impact the area with some clouds, but really not going to affect our temperatures. It's just going to be on the cloudy side.

[00:02:46]Umpqua Basin, Friday, Saturday starting off with clouds, but giving way to some sunshine. So, these icons are maybe a little deceptive. It'll be Sunday when we really start to see the clouds on the increase, and then Monday when they impact the area. But, look how it's having essentially no impact on our temperatures. In fact, we're into the mid 90s on Wednesday for the Umpqua Basin. So, Woo, yeah. You know, it's not extreme heat, but it's, you know, we're not necessarily always going to get 90s around our area, but it's certainly going to be happening that way.

[00:03:15]Sunday again, even for the Willamette Valley, increasing clouds. Monday likely to be the cloudiest, and then we're firmly into the mid 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday, cooling down a touch on Thursday.
