A 30-year career DOJ lawyer, brought in by Merrick Garland specifically for the Mar-a-Lago raid, raised strong concerns that the Justice Department had not considered the possibility that President Trump may have legitimately declassified the documents before taking them to Mar-a-Lago, writing 'I can't stop thinking about this' to express her deep concern about the rushed raid on a former president's home for documents he may have been legally allowed to keep.

NEW FBI MEMOS COULD BLOW UP THE MAR-A-LAGO RAID CASEAdded:
Merrick Garland, as we said, I approved the raid on Mar-a-Lago. Well, we now know a lawyer that he specifically kept in his employ for the whole year around the Mar-a-Lago raid.
This is a 30-year career well-decorated DOJ lawyer, someone that is deeply [music] respected by both Republicans and Democrats.
Garland brought her out of the appellate division for her final year before she retired and moved her into his office to weigh in on issues about the president.
As soon as she was a consultant about the raid on Mar-a-Lago, as soon as she heard about it, she raised a very strong concern that the Justice Department had not considered the obvious fact that President Trump probably declassified those documents before he took them to Mar-a-Lago. In fact, she wrote, [music] "I can't stop thinking about this."
since she learned about the raid, showing how deeply concerned she was at the Justice Department rushed to do a raid on a a former president's home for documents that he may have legitimately been allowed to keep.
>> War [music] Room, here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
Welcome back, John.
Solomon joins us getting ready for a show by phone. John, two things. You broke news today out of South Carolina.
Explain to folks what happened because a lot of people assumed today we were going to be getting another seat that Clyburn Clyburn was gone and that seat was going to become available at 7-0. That did not happen, did it, sir?
It did not. Yeah, Carolina State Senate voted against the redistricting map bringing to an end at least the legislative effort to do it. The house had already The state house had already voted to do it, but the senators, often as you see in our own Senate in Washington, they seem to have cold feet when it comes to playing hardball. And I think once again, they let down their own constituents. I don't think though that it is the end of the road. I think there is a another card still to be played. I want to remind people what Harmeet Dhillon said on our show a couple of weeks ago. We're going to watch and see what the state legislatures do if there's a racially gerrymandered district, if they don't do the right thing, we may intervene. That's what Harmeet told us. Uh now that the state legislature had a chance to get rid of this racially gerrymandered district.
This district was specifically created to create a black lawmaker. Race was used years ago to create it. Uh now the Justice Department could go in and try to strike it down under the Louisiana ruling. And so, uh maybe this US Cal- uh excuse me, South Carolina senators don't have the courage to take a crack at it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Harmeet Dhillon and the Justice Department don't go in soon and uh and attack it for the very fact that it is in violation of the Supreme Court's ruling.
Three-judge panel in Alabama. I don't know if you have any insights there or in particular about Justice Department, but three-judge panel in Alabama have also put that one on hold, sir.
That's going to have to go up the chain uh to the Supreme Court, I suspect. Um again, uh that's another uh district that one could argue there's a history of racial gerrymandering there.
So, the game is not over uh even if the legislature's um efforts are uh there.
But, there are two components to this.
The legislature traditionally is deemed to be the supreme authority on redistricting. And two, if that legislature is acting in compliance with the Supreme Court ruling, you think this would fare very well when it gets to the United States Supreme Court. Has a couple more hops to go, um but I I have a funny feeling when it gets to the US Supreme Court, uh the legislatures will will most likely be uh upheld. And whether that's for 26 or 28 to be determined, there's always an issue of timing. Uh but um uh the fact that the district uh is racially gerrymandered isn't uh in doubt and I think the Supreme Court will probably come down on the side of the legislature and the president.
Speaking of the president, John, you've been all over the smart logger raid, a bunch of news you're breaking on just the news your your new site. What is going on there, sir?
Let's keep in mind what they're doing down in Fort Pierce, Florida. They're trying to determine if what occurred the last decade when the FBI and the intelligence community and the Justice Department just kept going after Donald Trump one scandal after another trying to create fake scandals four code-named FBI investigations whether that would have violated his civil rights and whether that amounted to a criminal conspiracy to violate his and others civil liberties. We now have two smoking gun pieces of proof about the Mar-a-Lago raid. The first is an FBI memo that we published about 2-3 months ago.
In that the FBI in Washington field office is premier office in Washington warned that they did not believe they had met the standard for probable cause.
You can't get a search warrant if you don't meet the standard for probable cause. The FBI nonetheless got that search warrant, but there is legitimate concerns that they did not meet the standard and it was expressed openly and quite strongly in the FBI. Now comes a second memo.
This one from a top advisor to Merrick Garland. That's very important cuz Merrick Garland has always said, "I approved the raid on Mar-a-Lago." Well, we now know a lawyer that he specifically kept in his employ for the full year around the Mar-a-Lago raid.
This is a 30-year career well-decorated DOJ lawyer, someone that is deeply respected by both Republicans and Democrats.
Um Garland brought her out of the appellate division for her final year before she retired and moved her into his office to weigh in on the about the president. As soon as she wasn't consulted about the raid on Mar-a-Lago, as soon as she heard about it, she raised a very strong concern that the Justice Department had not considered the obvious fact that President Trump probably declassified those documents before he took them to Mar-a-Lago. In fact, she wrote, "I can't stop thinking about this." since she learned about the raid, showing how deeply concerned she was at the Justice Department rushed to do a raid on a a former president's home for documents that he may have legitimately been allowed to keep. That is a smoking gun.
If that ever gotten to trial, which it didn't, uh that would have been a key piece of evidence that Donald Trump could have used to win acquittal, but now it becomes a key piece of evidence for Joe di Genova and the team down in Fort Pierce because now they have proof that the Justice Department itself believed that it had jumped the gun and that maybe did an unlawful search. You got two now strong pieces of evidence at really, really important moment.
Wow.
John, uh what is your social media?
Where they go to get all the news? You follow us right here at 6:00. We'll let you get ready. We'll let you go into hair and makeup right now. Uh where do people follow your content? You bet.
Yeah, uh justthenews.com is the website.
J. Solomon reports on all uh social media. As you said, follow me at 6:00 right here at Real America's Voice.
Thank you, brother. Appreciate you and your reporting.
Texas Caroline Wren has just landed in Texas. She's going to call us here uh momentarily, get us up to date on South Carolina, Alabama, and uh what's going on Texas, what she feels in Texas.
We got Raheem down there.
Caroline Wren is there. Scott Pressler's there. Uh coverage tonight in Real America's Voice will be show to show. Of course, we got Stinch, who's our Dallas guy. He'll be on at uh with Stinch is on at 7:00, and then Studio 6B goes 8:00 to 10:00, so there'll be plenty of coverage.
And you never know, we may dip out we may dip in and out tonight as appropriate. So, we'll just stand by on that. We've got some great people uh down there.
Like I said, the um very hard to get information on game day. All sides tell people just discount. There's so many rumors flying around etc. But, number one, I do think we confirmed that the turnout has been relatively uh light, at least what uh spotters that we've had throughout the um throughout the state have tell us a fairly light turnout. But, we have seen reports of CNN and MSNBC that have gone around by county to many precincts looking for corner voters. They're looking for corner voters because they're looking for people to step out and talk smack about Ken Paxton, talk smack about uh MAGA, talk smack about the grassroots, talk smack about President Trump.
Cuz they're trying to pop pump up Tarico.
Um and so, that's they went looking and at least if you see their news reports, they really couldn't find you really they really couldn't find people.
So, um they kind of came up uh as you say a little short.
Um we're also going to have Joe Allen.
Joe Allen's going to show up, I think here shortly. Joe Allen got a lot to report on uh this artificial intelligence. A lot of this stuff quite quite serious and uh quite disturbing.
As I guess you took it from my my rant this morning.
Um Ken Paxton uh a profile in courage.
First of all, what Paxton did as attorney general, as you remember the long-term longer-term viewers of this show, when um when General Paxton on that first afternoon in the 5:00 hour, if you remember that that horrible [sighs] horrible fake um inauguration of Biden, where they had the big circles drawn on the lawn outside the Capitol and they had like 30 people there in mask uh at virtually empty. It just felt weird. It felt like they were embarrassed.
They'd stolen this thing and they were embarrassed to kind of be out in the in the broad daylight.
We got Paxton on here at 5:00 in the afternoon as our first guest and he said as attorney general where Biden regime sticks within the Constitution and it's for the good of Texas, he will support it. Where it's not, he will sue.
Uh he was already getting ready. He'd already sued. He'd already sued in federal court on the election itself, but he went that next morning about what Biden did on the border. Caroline Wren joins us by phone. She just landed in Texas.
Do you have a sense of anything on this uh Cornyn um Paxton race, ma'am?
Well, I think Paxton is is looking very good. Uh you know, Cornyn is going around begging Democrats to vote for him. That's been uh his plan, which makes sense. That's his natural constituency, to be honest with you. Um the question will be how many Democrats, you know, cross over. It's an open primary. Um and Caro- Caroline Caroline, he's he's he's It's worse than that in in Twitter.
Paxton the general came on today and we talked about this open primary pro- the difficulty in having Democrats Cornyn's gone out all day addressing that and saying, "Oh, it's terrible. They're trying to suppress the vote. You know, I want as many people to vote as possible.
This is a free country. Democrats ought to be able to vote." What does that tell you about the establishment in John Cornyn, ma'am?
It also told you about what a lie this entire campaign has been based on because they're saying that uh the Democrats will win this election if the nominee is Paxton. So then in the same breath, they're telling Democrats to get out and vote for John Cornyn. If you actually believed that Ken Paxton would lose a general election in the Democratic Party, then you would actually flood the polls to vote for Ken Paxton. And so that it's it These are such a double standard. It's that the Democrats know that they are going to lose this race. And so they're not going to send all of their people out to vote for Paxton. And so Cornyn is just out there begging people that were not planning to vote in this runoff cuz they already have their dream candidate in Talarico, begging them to come bail them out. And I um, you know, I can't speak to what the Democratic Party's going to do, but I'd be very surprised if they do that.
Uh Caroline, can you hang on uh for 1 second? We just want to go to a short break. Uh we got other questions to ask you about Texas.
In addition, what happened in South Carolina, and of course the three-judge panel in Alabama put the brakes on the redistricting there. So, a lot to cover as far as redistricting go. Want to make sure that everybody in preparation for Thursday, we're going to do a lot on debt and um the national deficit. Axios today had an excellent piece to start the day off saying, "The era of free lunches is over."
But how difficult, how increasingly difficult it's going to get to refinance the federal debt now that we're $40 trillion. That's just the face amount of what's on the books. I didn't even talk about the contingent liabilities of the federal government that is on the the weight on the shoulders of the United States dollar. It's the reason that 5 years ago we started writing up the end of the dollar empire cuz we saw the BRICS nations coming for the dollar.
