Genesis Mission | Advancing science through AI

[00:00:00]The Genesis mission is a platform that the Department of Energy put together uh brings together academia, industry and 70 national laboratories and and really push the idea of uh bringing artificial intelligence or short AI into a position where we super boost the benefits of using AI to drive new developments, inventions, technology. FEMA has a unique contribution to the Genesis mission. Demlip has been a long time involved in in high energy physics experiments and they have naturally been at the at the core of producing a lot of very complicated data in massive data streams and storing this data for exploitation. The ability to use AI on these data streams and on the data is something that FEMLAP is uniquely set up to do because we actually are the host of one of the largest data sets uh that are produced worldwide uh coming from the LHC and and so we have the people that have been involved in in applying the neural networks which are the the basis of the AI technology uh to these systems but it's really the computing power now that we have available here at FEMLAB to apply these models and extract data and super boost developments as we go forward.
