When solving mathematical expressions, follow the order of operations (PEMDAS: Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication/Division, Addition/Subtraction) to ensure correct results; for example, in the expression 17 - 7 * 5 + 5, you must first solve the parentheses (5 + 5 = 10), then perform multiplication (7 * 10 = 70), and finally subtraction (17 - 70 = -53), rather than solving left to right which would yield an incorrect answer of 100.

This Math Trick Will Blow Your Mind!Added:
Hey guys, welcome to our channel. Today I want to find the value of this expression 17 - 7 * 5 + 5 in parentheses.
What is the answer of this math expression? Can you solve it? Most people when solving this math expression first go for these parentheses and and write instead of this expression 10.
Then they go for this subtraction between 7 and 17 and write instead of this expression 10.
Finally, they go for this multiplication between 10 and 10 and write instead of this expression 100.
But this answer actually is wrong is not correct.
Because according to the order of operations, which is PEMDAS, we have to solve this math expression in this way.
First, parentheses, then exponent, then multiplication or division, and then addition or subtraction. Remember that multiplication and division have the same level of priority, and addition and subtraction have the same level of priority, too.
Now, according to the PEMDAS that is here, we have [snorts] to solve these parentheses first because parentheses has highest priority than other operations.
We have one multiplication here because when a number is placed next to parentheses, it means multiplication, and usually we don't write this multiplication for brevity. Now, we have to start with these parentheses. 2 5 + 5 = 10.
Let's [snorts] rewrite the expression.
We have 17 - 7 * 10. Now, in next step, we have one subtraction here and one multiplication.
And as we know, multiplication has higher priority than uh subtraction. So, we have to start with this multiplication. If you do the subtraction first, it is wrong.
7 * uh 10 = 70.
At the end we have 17 minus 70. So, our final answer to this question is 53, -53.
