Thanks for checking out higher.thought.gaming. Before we get into our dev news, we'll go over the next beta draw, when it is planned to be. There will be another thousand beta key draw this week, tentatively set for Wednesday. Exact time impossible to predict with accuracy. So, we know how it works. Usually, they send them out within a certain like four-hour window or such.
The keys will usually end up landing from there. I do hope you get in and are playing by tomorrow if everything goes to plan. So, solo raids and resistances.
We have our solo raids going to be balanced to that something like a bard or rogue can still be viable. Most solo raids targets have one to two strong resistances. May not be able to slow everything, but considerably more things you can land on.
So, you're going to have to figure out what these resistances that they're strong in, what they're weak in, but you're going to have a lot more options to work with if you are in a solo raid instance. Next up, we have bard sustain and AoE slow. Bard brings even more sustain and AoE slow for good measure.
Let me know in the comments, did the bards always have AoE slow? I don't remember that one.
Next, this is a very good one. Mob healing through walls. So, can they tone down mob mob healing through walls? And it is 100% fixed in the game. They won't heal stuff they can't see. So, in the harder difficulties, guys, like in the live stream, they were getting a lot of mobs that were multi-classing and they were multi-classing healers.
It's going to be a tough time in those situations. So, using a strategy for moving mobs, rooting, or you know, root if you're like stuck with a root, you can root mobs, move other ones behind walls, and then they won't be able to heal them and things like that. So, this is going to be important that that works in the game. Next up, we have exaltations as replacements. Have the devs confirmed or mentioned if exaltations are replacements rather than additive? I think a lot of people do know this, but I have seen this question come up. So we have they will function as replacements and aren't additive. So if a weapon normally has ignite, you put Yaksha on it, you will need to take out ignite at the appropriate rank. So not additive, replacements for sure. I think they would be way overpowered if they were additive.
Next, these last two right here, we have dual-wielding ornamentations.
Secrets, my frog lock was dual-wielding two fiery avengers because all the epics are generally primary at minimum. The ornamentations in the primary slot can apply to secondary regardless of base item type. So anything that you rip off an order not anything but most primary weapons that you rip off an ornamentation from will be able to be put onto the secondary. So if you if it's a primary only and you want to hold two of them, you will be able to do that through the like cosmetically at least.
So next up we have exaltation epics into other epics. So this is obviously way in the future guys, but we have a question here probably a while away, but could you exaltation epics into other epics?
Uh they're worn clicky and proc effects.
Yeah, I assume so. So awesome news right there.
And I think a lot of people were wondering just overall with the epics be working the same way and it seems that they will be leveling in the same manner as all the other gear in the game.
You'll be able to get procs on them, take procs off of them. So it's going to be a lot of fun indeed. So look out tomorrow for your emails guys.
