[00:00:19]A rain of destruction soon [music] hit Mount Srd toppling the antenna plunging the city into a total blackout. This proved crucial to the capture of Dubrovnik. But 31 local defenders refusing to retreat from the inside of this 19th century fortress, they called artillery fire onto their own position [music] to hold the line. Sacrifice combined with global outrage finally broke this 8-month siege in May 1992.
