This video presents a personal account of unequal treatment in the justice system, where two individuals arrested for similar offenses during riots received vastly different bail outcomes—one (a Labour councillor) was granted bail while the other was denied, raising questions about political bias and fairness in judicial decision-making.

Arrested for Same Crime, Treated Differently: My Story #shortsAdded:
You're [music] safe for now if you're on board with their political views and their Ricky Jones is a perfect example of that. [music] So, the guy that I don't know if you know about Ricky Jones, the guy about the same time as me when all the riots and that were happening, he was in the street.
He was a Labour counselor, so he's he had a, you know, a much more influential position than I did. He was a Labour counselor.
Um, and [music] he was I can't remember the exact words. He was in the street with a board and a microphone >> [music] >> inciting violence and basic advocated to slit people's throats. That's what he was doing. He was also arrested [music] around the same time as me.
His he managed to get bail, funnily enough.
So, he they didn't they did remand him initially, but then they bailed him.
[music] They wouldn't they would not entertain him and bailing me at all.
Um, so he was obviously able to get out and then [music] seek really good legal advice and and, you know, look at his options. I wasn't able to do that.
We were arrested for similar things, but treated very, very differently.
Now, why was that?
