However, this time it is not for a film or a record-breaking achievement. The actor has now received a court summon in connection with the tragic Sandhya theater stampede case that took place during the premiere of Pushpa 2 in December 2024.

[00:00:26]Well, Allu Arjun, who became a household name across India following the massive success of the Pushpa franchise, has been summoned by the Hyderabad's Nampally court in connection with the Sandhya theater stampede case. As per the reports, the court has directed the actor to appear in person for a hearing scheduled on June 22nd, 2026. The development marks a significant step in the legal proceedings surrounding the tragic incident that occurred during a special screening of Pushpa 2 on December 4, 2024 at Sandhya theater in Hyderabad. Well, the stampede resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi, while her younger son Sritej sustained severe injuries. Reports state that Chikkadpally police have named Allu Arjun as accused number 11 in the case, while the management of Sandhya theater has been listed as accused numbers 1 to 10. The court has reportedly issued summons to 19 accused persons, while a charge sheet has been filed against 23 individuals. Confirming the development, Allu Arjun's legal team stated, "Nampally court has issued summons to actor Allu Arjun to appear in person before the court on Monday for a hearing. We will give more details later about the matter."

[00:01:37]In a recent development, producer Allu Arvind and Allu Arjun's wife Sneha Reddy reportedly visited Sritej's family to inquire about his condition and offered continued support. During the visit, Allu Arvind is reported to have assured educational support for Sritej's younger sister, telling the family, "Study well, I will bear all the expenses for your education." Reports also suggest that Allu's family, along with the production banner associated with Pushpa, has continued to assist with Sri Teja's medical expenses as he undergoes rehabilitation and long-term treatment.

He later developed respiratory failure and severe neurological complications requiring prolonged ventilator support. After spending nearly 5 months in intensive care, Sri Teja was discharged in April 20 25 and shifted to a rehabilitation center for ongoing treatment. Well, speaking about his son's condition earlier this year, Sri Teja's father, Mogadum Balley Bhaskar, told a media portal, "There has barely been any improvement in his health. My son still struggles to recognize us. He mostly just stares with very little emotion on his face. He's currently undergoing speech and swallowing therapy. We are holding on to hope for his recovery." Well, as the legal proceedings move forward, the case remains under judicial scrutiny while the affected family continues to cope with the long-term consequences of that tragic night.
