[00:00:23]Still a lot of [ __ ] going on, a lot of things to talk about. I just heard something before we came on.

[00:00:30]that apparently the Department of Justice is looking to criminally investigating Eugene Carol, an 82year-old woman who happened to sue Donald Trump for assault. And you know what kind of assault? She won twice. She beat Donald for defamation of character.

[00:00:51]Donald Trump's butt hurt. Doesn't want to pay. So now there's an investigation into her. Now she's done nothing wrong.

[00:00:58]The whole thing, the whole point of it is intimidation or trying to cost her some money or retribution of some sort.

[00:01:06]And uh this is silly. I mean, this appears to be desperate and pathetic. Anybody with average or above intelligence can see what's going on here. This is absolutely silly. And this is the the point to where Donald Trump has gotten he is so desperate. He is so pathetic that this is his only option.

[00:01:34]He's a joke.

[00:01:36]And it's starting to become more apparent to just about everybody. Okay, we got a panel of folks coming in.

[00:02:11]U, but did you hear about this Eugene Carol thing? I mean, it's absolutely ridiculous.

[00:02:17]>> No, that's new to me. I haven't heard that one yet.

[00:02:20]>> Yeah, I heard about it, Mike. And what what they're saying is >> she's um I think in 2022 she had a deposition where she says she didn't take any outside money, >> but >> right >> um the lawyers disclosed that she did take outside money. So he's trying to go after her for perjuring herself the [ __ ] out of here.

[00:02:44]>> Good luck with that [ __ ] Well, the judge in that original case knew about that and said it wasn't worth a hill of beans and let's move on.

[00:02:54]>> So, this this is what he's uh bringing up.

[00:02:58]>> We got a war in Iran.

[00:03:00]>> We've got an economy in shandle shambles. We got uh oil uh going through the roof. And this is what Donald Trump thinks is important. This is what he thinks the DOJ should be working on.

[00:03:11]That's why I say it's absolutely desperate and absolutely pathetic.

[00:03:20]>> No. What did he do? Cancun again.

[00:03:22]>> No, no, no, no. He he I think it he did it on X. I'm not sure what platform. I'm pretty sure it was it was X, but he posted that he went and got gas and he was bragging that it was in Texas it was $3.99 a gallon.

[00:03:38]>> So, >> Oh, wow. Everybody, everybody online is destroying him right now because he he is so touch out of touch with reality.

[00:03:48]He thought that he was doing something there, but it really was stupid.

[00:03:52]>> He's such a nice guy and I say that with all due respect.

[00:03:57]>> Eric, you had something to add to the Eugene Carol thing, I think. Well, yeah, on that Eugene Carol thing, I think part of it is is he is hoping that if he can win the if he can get the DOJ to prove a perjury claim, even if it's for something stupid and un related specifically to the charges against him and what she found they found him liable for the defamation, what he did that he thinks it's going to absolve him from having to pay her any money. I think that's what they're going for.

[00:04:30]And people will say, why is he so worried about this money? He's got more than enough money that he's grifted that he could pay the 80 or 90 million.

[00:04:40]That's not the point.

[00:04:42]The point isn't the money. The point is that Donald Trump cannot handle being perceived as a loser.

[00:04:50]That's gnawing at his very soul that he lost and there's no way he can divert around it. So, he's got to try to come up with some loophole. He's doing what every rich person does to normal people.

[00:05:04]He puts up so many hurdles and so many blocks that it costs them too much and they just have to give in. This is what Donald Trump's done his whole life.

[00:05:12]Unfortunately, that's not going to work in this situation because, as I understand it, her lawyer was working on a contingency.

[00:05:19]>> So, her lawyer didn't really have to be paid. Now, maybe she did get some extra money, but uh Donald Trump also told us that uh uh that uh he had don donors paying for the ballroom, too. So, that sounds >> exactly >> like a bit of a lie as well.

[00:05:35]>> Well, it's weird because he loses every week.

[00:05:40]>> That's something [ __ ] up because he does something and then he [ __ ] up and then he loses. But this one must really put a craw on his ass, I guess. I don't know. Well, because he lost this one twice, right? You know, two times.

[00:05:53]>> And it's about what it's about too, right? What he was found uh you know what the judge had said in this case, not only did they prove the defamation, but in one of the two, I think it was the first one, uh he was found uh liable not only for defamation, but they said that she was credible that he assaulted her. And he that is sticking in his craw the whole time that he that it is out there on paper in a judge's order that she was found cred credible to have done that to him.

[00:06:29]>> Yeah. And it's the same as the 2020 election. He can't admit he lost that.

[00:06:34]That's why he'll never do it. Again, something pathetic. He's trying to convince people that he won the 2020 election. Nobody believes it, not even Republicans. But he can't get that out of his mind. He's got an OCD where anything shows that he lost.

[00:06:49]>> But I want to bring >> what happens if he dies before he pays her. Do they can they take that from his estate before money given?

[00:06:58]>> I think it's already in I think it's already in escrow. I think that was the deal. He had to put it in escrow. So if he dies, >> I don't understand how how she hasn't gotten paid yet >> because he keeps appealing >> and every time he appeals the court says, "Okay, well, while it's appealed, we're going to put the money on hold just in case we we, you know, he's successful."

[00:07:24]>> Yeah. But >> what time does when does the court say enough is enough? You can't appeal.

[00:07:29]>> Good question. Well, but the thing is too, as he appeals it, the money gains interest.

[00:07:35]>> Yeah.

[00:07:36]>> So, >> it's got to be up over a hundred million by now.

[00:07:38]>> Oh, for sure.

[00:07:41]>> Yeah. It's It's ridiculous. I wanted to bring something else up before we start taking people.

[00:07:46]We know that uh Ken Paxton beat out John Cornin, the sitting uh US senator to be the Republican nominee to go up against James Terico. So now they're going after James Telerico. Good luck with that. He's a pretty straightedged guy. He's a pretty credible guy. He's got integrity and he's religious and that's going to be a problem for them.

[00:08:12]>> But he's got one fault that the Republicans are going after.

[00:08:16]>> He's vegan.

[00:08:18]>> Well, he's not vegan. They're trying to make it.

[00:08:22]>> He's not married. He's 37. I I saw Jesse Waters go. He's 37 years old and he's not married and he claims his girlfriend is his rock and his best friend. As if there's something weird to that. Let me remind you that uh Lindsey Graham is 67 years old, never been married and lives with a guy >> and goes to Disneyland or wherever that was and has pink dolls in his hand. So, >> right. and and Byron Donald claims to have a girlfriend after he got beat up about his his own situation. You know, this this this shows how desperate they are in this situation. They've got the worst possible candidate against a very good candidate in Texas in spite of their in spite of their parties. Ken Paxton, the Democrats couldn't have been handed a better gift.

[00:09:15]>> And it's because Donald Trump [ __ ] up again. His little ego was bruised. He decided to get somebody who's comparable to him, somebody he has a lot lot uh uh in common with, >> immoral, criminal, corrupt, and stupid.

[00:09:30]So, they got Ken Paxton.

[00:09:32]>> They took a sitting member of Congress who'd been there for four terms. He's been reelected four terms. That was a no-brainer to go up against a new statewide candidate.

[00:09:44]>> But they couldn't be happy with that.

[00:09:45]They pull the sure thing out.

[00:09:48]>> And it's funny because because Cornin voted with Trump like 93% of the time, >> like everything that Trump wanted >> and then and then he and then he uh pushed back on Trump a little bit and Trump got buttth hurt because he demands 110% loyalty, but he doesn't realize that incumbents have better chances to win and Eric knows that incumbents have a better chance to win. So now Taler Rico is probably happy because he's in a position where, you know, people know that Ken Paxton is a criminal and so they'd be more likely to vote his way.

[00:10:25]>> Exactly. And and speaking of Butard, I I want to I want to make a clarification uh for Tik Tok purposes. Uh there's absolutely nothing wrong with going to Disney Disneyland and walking around with a Ping doll. There's nothing wrong with that. No.

[00:10:39]>> I just want to make sure I get that out there before I get kicked down again today. Lindsay. Lindsay went to Disneyland because he's a princess and there's lots of princesses in Disneyland. So that's okay.

[00:10:55]If you if you take an old white guy like me, okay, just looks like nobody special. Old white guy but like me goes to a kid's water park in a speedo and just kind of roams around. Do you think they'd get questioned at all?

[00:11:18]>> Yeah. Yeah. It's It's absolutely ridiculous. Now, somebody else put in the comments that uh and I'd heard this too that uh um Telerico takes Apac money. And I think he acknowledged that he took money and his his his thinking was, well, I got to compete on the same level with these people, so I'm taking money from everybody. And that may or may not be true. Um, but I would say to people right now, the Apac money is a big issue and people need to know that we aren't happy about people that take Apac money.

[00:11:54]But if you take James Telerico at this point, a relatively new person on on national politics who gets Apac money, uh, and that's his one fault. And you've got Ken Paxton. It's still a [ __ ] no-brainer. Uh would I say I I would tell Telerico, we're not happy about that [ __ ] but if he gets elected, then we need to hammer him about the Apac money. But we can't hammer him about the AP pack money until he gets elected.

[00:12:24]>> Absolutely. And I don't see what they can get on this guy, Mike. Honestly, his father was a pastor. He He's a pastor. I mean, he has a girlfriend. He's had her for four years. I mean, he's vegan. I mean, that those are the only two things. Jesse Waters was complaining about there's no there there. So I >> Yeah, but did you did you hear Ken Paxton trying to trying to gun on Terico?

[00:12:49]>> Yeah, but did you see the dumb look on his face when he tried?

[00:12:52]>> But it was pathetic. It was pathetic.

[00:12:54]>> He just came up with some stupid nicknames and like that's all he had. He had no ammunition at all. Not nothing about policy. just saying that, you know, he's a vegan and he's six sixgender gym or whatever stupid ass thing he said. You know what I mean?

[00:13:11]>> Well, >> what about Steven Miller? Steven Miller tweeted something uh uh about him being the first Tgender uh candidate, which is ridiculous. And and people came back and nailed him, too. Like, shut up, you ugly son of a [ __ ] Just shut up. Yeah, they told him [ __ ] yourself.

[00:13:34]>> You know, the thing about it is I don't know if Telerico will do this or not, but it could get real ugly with Paxton.

[00:13:41]There is a lot of baggage to go through.

[00:13:44]There's a lot of skeletons in the closet. And if the Democrats are aggressive and assertive like I hope they are, they're going to expose that [ __ ] all over the world.

[00:13:54]>> So, Mike, let me ask you this. So when when Telerico ran against Jasmine, his thing was we're going to make sure we run a clean clean campaign. Do you think he's going to do that now?

[00:14:07]>> I think what we've seen him do the first day or two uh proves he's not.

[00:14:12]>> You know, he's like Donald Trump. You he can say whatever he wants, >> but you can't trust the [ __ ] because he's a pathological liar.

[00:14:19]>> Exactly.

[00:14:21]>> He's he's a joke. I mean, he's I am so excited about the fact that uh he's been the one that uh was chosen to be the nominee. Do I feel sorry for uh Cornet?

[00:14:35]No. [ __ ] him. He's had his time to uh um to make his money and gain popularity.

[00:14:42]See, the other thing that this [ __ ] up for the the Republicans is money.

[00:14:49]There was a lot of money spent in Texas for this primary and runoff.

[00:14:56]Now, if Cordon had won, in most situations in Texas, they wouldn't have to put any money into that. They'd be able to spend it in places where it was more needed. Now, with Paxton in there, they're going to have to spend $50 million that they weren't planning on spending. So, this is going to take a uh a bit of bite out of the uh the budget for the Republicans.

[00:15:19]>> Well, wasn't that part of why he got in trouble? Like, besides the, you know, the not the campaign part of it, but wasn't Paxton being investigated for taking somehow he was taking money and, you know, on the side or something like that?

[00:15:34]>> Isn't that part of what >> Yeah, he like he got kicked out. He I think he got impeached in Texas for something like that. Republicans.

[00:15:42]>> Yeah. By his charge >> Republicans. They >> Yeah.

[00:15:46]>> He also sold stole a colleague's $1,000 pen, too. So, >> yeah. Yeah. Yeah. This guy.

[00:15:52]>> So, I just looked it up and Tal Rico has not taken any AP pack money according to every site that I looked at. um which and but Politico did say that um he did take money from um some woman or or some corporation that um was for gambling in taxes >> but he was for the bill the gambling bill but prior to so he took their money I guess is what I read >> they're going to be working pretty hard to try to nail Telerico like you say he's going to be hard to uh hard to nail because he's a squeak Y clean guy. [00:16:44]I'm a fan of Calico base on a how he feels on a charter schools. It's a goddamn ripoff for people that can't afford it. I mean, majority of people taking the money on these these uh vouchers are already got their kids in public or private schools.

[00:17:04]So, I like that about Telerico. There's a few other things. I can't think of anything off the top of my head right now.

[00:17:10]>> Who are you talking about now? You say teller. I'm not sure who you >> Terico. He's in Texas. He's in Texas and you're in Utah.

[00:17:19]Uh Utah's got uh charter schools and I'm not a Republican like these guys. Um I we're going to watch all over the country, the people, and uh try to get a feel for who's who's coming up and what's got what's going on.

[00:17:35]>> Yeah, charter schools are 90% of them are a scam. The only one that I can think of that isn't is the Monasuri system, but other than that, they're all a scheme. We had one here that couldn't pass a single kid in the sixth grade. A single kid, not one in the entire class they had. I mean, it's just theft. And the And this school choice thing is the same thing. They just want to It's a benefit for the rich and it screws the poor population. That's all it does.

[00:18:06]>> Exactly. Um Yeah. I was talking I was talking to somebody uh my wife was a public school teacher for 30 years. Uh and I somebody was talking about sending their kid to a charter school and I said why would you do that? Well, it's smaller classes and better education. I go is it a better education? Because if you look at public schools teachers, they get paid x amount. And most the teachers that get paid in charter schools get paid considerably less than public school teachers. So if you're paying them less, do you think you're getting the cream of the crop in those charter schools? You may have smaller classrooms, but you're not getting top-of-the-line [ __ ] teachers.

[00:18:50]>> You know, also, um, how many of the lower income people are going to, what is it, eight or 10 grand or something like that? I wonder you just going to take the money and spend it on [ __ ] I know they're already spending it on vacations, computers, you know, and and such. But >> well, I think that that matters state to state because some states it's a voucher. So, you can't really spend it.

[00:19:13]You have to give it to the whatever educational system that you choose.

[00:19:18]>> Oh, yeah. That clears it up. Yeah.

[00:19:20]>> Yeah.

[00:19:20]>> And I don't I don't think Excuse me. I don't think it has anything to do with poor people misusing the money. What happens here is you've got kids in private schools. So you give them a voucher to send them to a private school. Say you get a voucher of $5,000 and it costs $10,000 to go to the school. The rich people are already sending these kids to the school. So they get a $5,000 break, >> right?

[00:19:45]>> The poor people can't tend their kid to the school even with a voucher because they can't afford the other five grand that they have to pay.

[00:19:53]Exactly.

[00:19:54]>> It's it's a ri it's a ripoff of the poor people and the rich people get a get a 50% discount. That's where the problem is. And the kids don't get better educated.

[00:20:02]>> Yeah. It's a tax scheme because they're taking public tax dollars and and ripping off people with it.

[00:20:09]>> And what's really sad is that the there are a lot of people in impoverished areas that they tried they get the voucher and they raise the money however their churches or whatever to send their kids to these charter schools. And the only reason they're sending them there is because of the the bad um like you know gangs or whatever in their schools and they think they're going to give their kid a better education and it it ends up not being le let's let's face what it really is. It's school segregation. That's what they >> Well, it is. They get to go to the charter schools because there less brown kids there. That's exactly right.

[00:20:42]>> Yeah. One of the other problems, >> one of the other problems with these charter, not just charter schools, but uh when it comes to school choice and things like that is private uh you know, church-based schools. And I've had this conversation with people I know who are older, whose kids have long since graduated, and they they're like, "Well, why should my tax money go to support the school? I don't want, you know, because, and in this case, the person I'm thinking of has a grandchild who is attending public school, but would still rather see their property taxes go to the private uh religion-based school instead because they they support that better.

[00:21:28]And it's like your your grandkid is at the public school. Your tax dollars are actively helping them right now and they don't see it because they think the religious school is more important.

[00:22:20]You'll get a lot of people in school districts and there'll be a referendum for school districts to give them more money. Now, I understand school districts waste money. I I I understand that because I worked in a school district. But when the referendums come up, a lot of people will say, "I don't have any kids anymore, so I'm not going to vote for the referendum. I'm not going to give the kids money." And that's pretty shortsighted. And anybody out there that has that mindset, I want you to understand something. If you're old like me and you have a house and the value of your house is going to be part of your retirement, meaning you're going to sell it, presuming that you paid it off or mostly paid it off, you have a lot of equity. You sell it. You're going to want to sell it at the highest value, right?

[00:23:05]>> One of the things that young people look at when they buy houses, how good's the school district if it's a shitty school district and nobody's paying any money to continually build it up and make it better, the value of your house is going down. So, you may not have kids, but you probably do have a house. And if you want to continue to see the value of your house improve, you better support the [ __ ] school district.

[00:23:34]>> Absolutely. No, you said it best. Um even with, you know, with my move um down to Florida. That was the first thing she asked. Are you looking for a home by a good school? We've got the best school district, blah blah. I'm like, no, I'm good on that. Uh but I did want to bring up something like before I forgot. Um, since we're talking about cities and all that, what's your take on Donald Trump and whatever the new uh secretary is uh who replaced Christy Gnomes about diverting flights, international flights from sanctuary cities.

[00:24:09]>> Well, it's absolutely ridiculous. And in my mind, I if I if I own an airline, I'm going to be pissed cuz it's going to cost them money.

[00:24:17]>> They're going to get their ass sued in like one day. Go ahead and do it. Yeah.

[00:24:22]>> Yeah. Go ahead and try that [ __ ] Yeah.

[00:24:25]>> It's It's along the lines of suing Eugene Carol, >> you know? It's that pathetic. It's that stupid.

[00:24:32]>> And where were they to divert those planes? What? Arkansas, right?

[00:24:49]>> Well, one of the problems is Okay. you divert these planes from sanctuary cities, right? But like here in Iowa, we've got for the state basically, we've got one major airport, De Moine, >> right?

[00:25:03]>> The next closest, you're either sending them to Omaha or Minneapolis for major international air travel, >> right?

[00:25:10]>> How how does that work? H how can you divert? And I I'm not saying De Moines's a sanctuary city, but if they were going to divert from De Moines, what what are you going to do? Uh, a lot of the towns around us, yeah, they have an airport.

[00:25:23]It's a grass runway designed to handle a crop dusting plane. How are they going to handle a 747?

[00:25:29]>> Exactly. Cuz those international planes are pretty big, right?

[00:25:33]>> By comparison to a crop dusting plane.

[00:25:36]Yes.

[00:25:39]>> Well, this falls in the category of Donald Trump's stupid ideas that will never [ __ ] work. and he just does it to try to make a point or try to intimidate or try to create fear. I think we can all agree looking at Donald Trump after his fourth annual health visit, the way he looks, the way he talks, the way he thinks, we don't need to be scared of that [ __ ] anymore. He's weak. He's spiraling. And uh it's just a matter of time now. His expiration date is coming to an end.

[00:26:11]>> I don't know, Mike. two things he said over the weekend that kind of makes me think otherwise. First thing he said was that he's he's aging backwards. And then the other thing he said was that, hey, listen, I had to take three cognitive tests and passed all three. Obama nor Biden took one of them. So I'm >> Well, Obama was Obama was 30 years younger than he is now. He was 50. So [ __ ] him. Uh, so, so what you're telling me is Donald Trump thinks he's Benjamin Button or in his case little Donnie Buttad. So, he's aged backwards. Well, it's not taken in the looks market because he looks decidedly uh diminished physically than he did even in his first term.

[00:26:55]>> He's You know what? You know what, Trucker? I don't know if you've noticed this. On occasion, on occasion, Donald Trump has a tendency to lie, even exaggerate, >> just a little bit.

[00:27:10]>> Well, I and I'll say this and I'll land my plane. I did watch a video of a guy narrate every second that he took while he was looking at that pillar while he [ __ ] himself. He narrated it to the tea.

So, I took it I had my hired help take it up to the neighbor and he's used to be a real good friend of mine and we've never had an argument but he's a Trumpster, you know, >> so I just I didn't want to go up there and Richard took it up there and anyway, so got it done and brought it home. So, I went up there today to pay the bill and of course I got my hat on and I got my uh wood tick and my lunatic and you know my one of my protesting shirts. But when I drove in the yard there wasn't a Trump flag flying >> really.

[00:29:00]>> And he never brought up politics at all.

[00:29:03]even though you, >> you know, because he done that a couple times in the past and I hit him, you know, I hit him with facts and figures and well, if you're a Trumpster, you can't argue against that, but he always had the flags. They're gone now. And I I see that more and more. But here's the rabbit hole I went down.

[00:29:23]you know, uh, uh, Biden, he was president in 2024, and in the state of Minnesota, where we have the DFL, we're the only state that has the DFL, we had four farm bankruptcies.

[00:29:39]In 2025, we had 13 farm bankruptcies.

[00:29:46]The only thing that changed was the president, >> right? And when you go from 4 to 13, that's a 300% increase.

I mean, that's that may be a lot of work put in for nothing. There's no way Republicans are going to side with Donald Trump on that. They're going to try to stop it. It's absolutely ridiculous. Allowing that to happen puts them in a worse situation uh in in the midterms than they are now, and they're in desperate position at this point. I just don't see them coming up with a way to do that 1.7 billion and leave it to Donald to assume he's going to win and he's going to [ __ ] lose. that that may be that may be illegal for them to scrub the the records of the Department of Justice because there there's uh freedom of information laws that prevent there there has to be public record kept. So that for them to say that to do that may be a crime if they actually do it.

He can cause some messes with uh executive orders and such, but even those are temporary because as soon as the next president comes in, all they have to do is sign some things and all that [ __ ] is gone. Um, don't give Donald Trump so much credit that he can pull off uh these amazing things because he can. He's proven he's can.

That's what they're going to do. Oh, I don't like what Donald did. I just liked his policies.

Um, this is going to be entertaining. The only thing I'm worried about with Terico, he's great in every aspect, but he's not a big enough [ __ ] and he's not mean enough. I hope the people around him pick up the slack there and go after Paxton the way he should be going after.

I just didn't want to leave like them saying, "Oh, well, it's still in the courts, so if you want it, you have to go find it in the courts." That's that's the problem because it's it should be really available for all 1600 people that were charged by the DOJ.

It's just I know the money is not going to go anywhere, but it's just the it's just the where we've gotten to as a nation right now with this [ __ ] and you know using the DOJ as as the way it's been used somewhere it's got to stop. And yes, somebody can come put it up, but that doesn't mean the next person can't come tear it down again.

Okay. when they did an interview with Brian Fitzgerald today, someone did it in in the capital somewhere and they already said that they're already analyzing where this money is coming from and there's absolutely no way that they like they basically he basically said they're investigating it and we're they're going to put a stop to it because nobody thinks that what they're doing is is legal with this money.

[00:45:42]Now, if you flip those state houses unjerry mander the maps and have democratic legislatures that actually do what they say they're going to do before getting elected and have their entire focus is on making life better for the people of the state.

[00:46:12]Then the with how tight the house is usually in a normal election, if you flip two red states, Republicans are never holding Congress again.

[00:46:30]So more focus has to be put on flipping your red state legislature to blue.

[00:46:49]But if you do flip the thieves, you have to get the those legislators to focus solely on benefiting the people. And if you do that, then they're going to stay blue.

[00:47:09]So you don't have to worry about Congress in the Senate because Republicans won't have enough votes to ever hold power in either house again.

[00:47:23]>> I think Eric has talked about this before and other people have suggested it too. whether it be on a state level or on the federal level, I think there's going to be a lot of surprises, a lot of people losing um positions that nobody would ever expect. Take Lindsey Graham for example. He's in a little bit of trouble there. I don't know if he loses, but uh he's in a bigger fight than he's ever been in before. Um there's going to be a lot of changes because there's too much pain and too much suffering, and people are going to want change.

[00:47:57]like in like in Texas, these Republicans may not like Tal Rico and they definitely don't like Paxton. What's more than likely to happen, they just won't vote for him. They'll just sit it out. And I think we're going to see a lot of that around the country. They don't have the stomach to vote for Democrats, but they're going to not vote for Republicans and just sit one out.

When you're looking at who the candidates are, you say, "Okay, I don't like the Republican, but the Democrat isn't quite the right one, so what do I do? I just don't vote." That's what a lot of people did with Kla Harris. Here's the thing.

[00:49:04]If you sit it out and the Republican wins, you can never fix your situation.

[00:49:10]But if you vote for the Democrat and it's not everything you want, at least you have an opportunity in the next election to try to fix it. You got to get the Republicans out. You got to do whatever it takes to get the Republicans out so you can get on the path where you can ultimately get to where you want to be. And that's the mistake people make.

[00:54:28]>> John Cornin got 97,000 of those 2 million. did not get to 50%.

[00:54:56]>> And this 1.4 4 is still less than the combined turnout for the Democrats when it was between Tel Rico and Jasmine Crockett.

And uh the Republicans aren't coming out. I think we're seeing a lot of people in Texas just disgusted with what's going on with the Republican party and just sitting staying at home.

[00:55:27]The Republicans are probably going to experience exactly what the Democrats experienced in the 2024 election with Kamla. People just won't do it. They're not happy.

[00:55:42]If that trend holds, uh Taro wins. If all of the people who voted on the Democratic side, even in even back whatever day that was in the first primary, if all of the Democrats that supported Jasmine Crockett and everybody else in the race all vote for Tel Rico, and nobody else shows up to vote but the people that voted in that primary, there were more votes for the Democrat than Republicans even then. And now fewer people are showing up. it potent calico has a good chance to flip that Senate race and you're going to see this across the country. I think you're going to see turnouts down >> on their side of the aisle. We just had our primary in Pennsylvania last Tuesday and I just I didn't look at the entire state, but I did look at my county and in the primary the Democratic turnout was two times the Republican turnout.

[00:56:47]>> It tells you that >> the turnout here was low too for the primaries and it was still two to one.

[00:56:52]Well, it one of the things they talk about when they talk about elections, they talk about the parties with the enthusiasm.

[00:56:59]And the Democrats definitely have some enthusiasm. And the Republicans are looking over their shoulder because they know, you know, even the Republicans in Congress, they know they're [ __ ] They're not stupid.

[00:57:11]Donald Trump may not understand that, but they know they're [ __ ] The economy sucks, oil prices, the war he can't get out of. uh they know they're [ __ ] and they're just going to say what they say to try to gaslight people and hopefully convince some dumb [ __ ] And fortunately, they have about 30% dumb [ __ ] in their party, so they'll at least be able to fool them.

[00:58:27]>> Um, my daughters grew up in a valley that was mostly um, it was on a reservation. We lived outside of the reservation because we weren't one of the seven um tribes that belong to that reservation, but we do belong to a tribe in another state. And they did have a charter school and I will say we didn't need vouchers.

[00:58:54]The kids did go school there and it was a great school. They learned a lot.

[00:58:59]Unfortunately, on the reservation where the private or the um public school was, it was not very good at all. The scores were horrible. They were the worst in the state. Um and they did very well in the charter schools. So, I have to say at least in the late '9s and up until about 2010, um, and as long as we lived there, the charter schools were excellent and they and it was mostly made up of Native American um, pupils.

[00:59:41]>> And I appreciate that. And and the thing is that ever like in the '9s charter schools were they existed but they weren't like a thing, right? Like there were there was some of them but now this is like this is a scheme because what they figured out is they could these people these corrupt people I should say have figured out that they can steal public tax dollars and spend them however they want with very little accountability. So that's why they're doing this. are opening all these charter schools like stealing most of the money paying the educators like basically nothing and pocketing that money >> right >> so because it's become because it's become corrupted now that's why I said 90% are bad because it's true >> and I appreciate that because I agree um we live in a well I live in a different community now now I live in a coastal area where we mostly have retirement age people. That's the majority of the population of where I live. Um, and I have noticed that charter schools in this area, you need a voucher. And and but the thing is is it's hard to get that voucher, but if you want to go to that charter school, it's thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars a year, which >> I'm very disappointed in. But I am happy that in some areas like like areas where there are reservations where there's private schools that are not funded very well um and a lot of reservations I don't know if you guys know this are very rural. The closest city that had more than 100,000 people to that reservation was over 4 hours away.

[01:01:33]Otherwise, we were in a very I mean, during 911, we were paying $5 a gallon for gas at that time in 2001 on that reservation because we were so rural, like I said.

[01:01:48]>> I mean, just to get to a town that had even 10,000 people was over 2 hours away.

Thankfully, we had a lot of people that really cared about the children on the reservation and children, even those who weren't on the reservation to get grants to be able to do that charter school so that children didn't need vouchers or anything else. But that was back in the old days. I don't know how it is now. My kids are in their 30s now, so I couldn't say.

That just strikes me as you're getting a less quality teacher. Now, I may be wrong by that, but but uh there's a big need for teachers in public schools right now.

[01:03:09]You can't find a substitute teacher. You can make more as a substitute teacher in a public school, and there are plenty of jobs than you can get teaching full-time in in in a charter school. So, >> and that is really unfortunate.

[01:03:24]>> And um well, when one of the um the teachers of of the charter school, he was for the the fifth, sixth, and seventh graders or no, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders because after 8th grade, you went to high school. Um he had graduated from Harvard. He had retired from uh I can't remember where he worked, but he had retired and he was he was very into Native American history and he he went out of his way. He came from New York to our side of the United States and was very passionate about Native American studies. We were one of two reservations in our state and he chose our reservation to help because um we had the lowest SAT scores of the entire state which is you know >> and so he donated his time. We boosted up our SAT scores after that. Um but we were such a small minority. Um, my daughters are part Native American.

[01:04:38]They're also of Mexican descent and tiny bit Irish. And so it was very beneficial to them. They're both doing very well.

[01:04:48]They're both still working for the tribes. And they make more money than I do, unfortunately.

Um and to all the people who are defending the gas prices as the price price we pay for freedom in Iran not having uh nuclear weapons, I would remind you Iran has been two weeks away from having nuclear weapons for 30 years.
