The Odyssey’s new Achilles

[00:00:00]Guys, so Christopher Nolan is recreating the Odyssey releases July 17th this summer. However, instead of the hunk Brad Pitt here that we got in the 2004 version, we got quite a significant downgrade for Achilles.

[00:00:14]Elliot Page, formerly known as Ellen Page, the star of Juno, will be playing uh Achilles. So, I mean, there's some questionable casting, but Christopher Nolan, he's had a lot of bangers, a lot of blockbusters, The Dark Knight trilogy, Interstellar, Oppenheimer. So, you know, who knows what's going to happen? Maybe the movie will be good overall, but with Achilles playing such a central role in the movie, it's kind of hard to see that happening with someone like Elliot Page, um and them being such a significant downgrade from the pure masculinity that Brad Pitt brought to Achilles.
