Now, astronomers have found a missing link. By combining Webb's view with archival X-ray data from Chandra, they've spotted a rare X-ray dot that's acting like a cosmic Rosetta Stone. It turns out these dots might be black hole stars, young supermassive black holes trapped inside a thick cocoon of gas.
