Day 3 at Thermopylae. The Spartan king sent everyone home except 300.Añadido:
August 480 BCE, a million Persian soldiers met a Spartan king at a narrow mountain pass.
King Leonidas held the pass for two days with 7,000 Greek soldiers.
A local goatherd showed the Persians a hidden path around the cliffs.
On day three, Leonidas dismissed the entire army except his 300 Spartans. He knew they would all die. He stayed to delay the Persian advance.
Every Spartan was killed. The Greek city-states gathered. Persia eventually lost.
