A nation's resilience and ability to overcome challenges such as armed conflict, economic decay, or moral decline depends on its spiritual foundation and commitment to unity, as demonstrated by Sierra Leone's 65th Independence Anniversary celebration where President Julius Maada Bio emphasized that true national strength comes from having God as Lord and maintaining unity among diverse citizens, with interfaith prayers reinforcing that peace, love, justice, and mutual care create a fortress from within that ensures independence is not just political status but a lived reality for every citizen.

As I listened to the statement made by the press secretary, I thought he was privy to my sermon because he stated some of the words I have in my summer.
Let me at this moment bring you greetings for my beloved wife, children, and my bishop the Reverend Dr. James Steven boy of the United Methodist Church.
I unbelievably used the word patriotic salonians because not allians are patriotic.
Anyone who wishes to respond.
Today we all are gathered here in order to commemorate and celebrate the 65th anniversary of our beloved country celebrate because God has been and still to our beloved mama not withstanding the challenges we face.
I have chosen to speak on the theme a resilient nation that believes in God absolutely a resilient nation that believes in God absolutely and the text is taken from Psalm 33:12 and I hear it blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord the people he chose for his inheritance My sermon is going to be a message of hope, resilience, spiritual renewal and that no matter how low a nation has fallen due to armed conflict, economic decay or moral decline, it can be lifted up again by God.
Psalm 33:12 emphasizes that the true strength of a nation lies in having God as Lord which brings healing to the land.
Our beloved country salon has been able to withstand the test of times over the years because we are convinced absolutely that without the aid of God Almighty, we can do nothing.
But without the aid of God Almighty, we can do nothing.
Psalm 33 is the of celebrating God as the creator and sovereign lord of all nations.
Your excellency sir, I would like to respectfully make it plain to you sir that you are hire me.
Set a day aside when we shall have a thanksgiving day like the USA would normally do normally do on a daily basis.
I am charged with utmost dismay that too many take more delight in celebrating the things of the world than the things of Jehovah.
Let me state here that if stands firm in the faith, divine protection can stop evil or rain from rising a second time.
Micah 8 7:8 encourages nations not to stay stay in their foreign state even in difficult times. It is promised that the Lord will be their help.
The blessing we enjoy in Son is not mere material prosperity but as a security, peace and reason that come from sovereignty authority.
The strength of a nation comes from God not from armies or weapons which can be described in all school.
Friends, the downfall of a nation is not final.
God is seen as capable of transforming a battered people into a strong nation.
I would like to encourage all Saladinians to be agents of change in their communities, agents of change in their offices, agents of change in their businesses or wherever they have their source of life.
listening to giving to fear of hopelessness.
We should cease making negative statement about our country.
Let me state thatians should cease making negative statement about our country.
Let me state the fifth paragraph of governor's prayer for mama shalom and I quote should any person have a wicked thought in his heart or do anything knowledge to disturb the peace and comfort of our beloved.
Let him be rooted out of God from the face of the earth but have mercy upon him thereafter. End of quote.
I would also like to say the national flag pledge of SL.
I pledge my love and loyalty to my country.
I vow to serve her faithfully at all times.
I promise to defend her honor and goodness.
Always work for our unity.
freedom and prosperity and put our interest above all else.
So help me Lord. Let me state verses 3, four and five.
I vow to serve her faithfully at all times.
I promise to defend her honor and good deeds. always work for our unity is freedom and prosperity.
Friends, this prayer should be food for thought to all Theronians.
Not only food for thought, but we ought to be meditating on the word regularly.
In conclusion, a country's rise is not dependent solely on human effort, but on a returning to and trusting in divine guidance and righteousness, allowing them to rise again from any crisis. God bless. Thank you.

over to you.
Thank you very much.
The psalmist in Psalm 133 verse1 says, "Behold, how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.
Heavenly Father and God Almighty, inspired by the Spirit, the Holy Spirit, and taking into account the rich diversity of our nation, our founding fathers and mothers included unity in our national motive.
Unity, freedom, justice.
Because there is strength and unity.
Our rich diversity was intended to be our strength and a source of mutual enrichment.
Unfortunately, Lord, we have often used our diversity to divide and so treat each other like foreigners.
Almighty God, as we celebrate today the 65th anniversary of our national independence, we pray for compassion by a sincere change of hearts and attitudes towards each other so that we may appreciate one another as brothers and sisters and towards as the only place we can truly call our home.
We pray for the government and the people of this nation to appreciate our cultural, ethnic and even political diversity as a source of mutual enrichment and of strength in favor of our national development.
Dear Lord, we pray the mission and our friends and collaborators may be active agents of unity, freedom, and justice today and forever. We make this prayer to Christ the risen Lord.
Amen.
Thank you.

Thank you very much of surah is normally referred to to the chapter of code of conduct in Islam. Next we will call check is gali cece to give us a brief Islamic lecture relative to the ideas of this occasion. Check is aim.
In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.
Your excellency Dr. Jesus mother be your president of the republic of Sri reverred and esteemed listeners may I bring you the fraternal salam and wish you all a happy independence.
Permit me to stand on all existing protocols and deliver a topic titled peace, love and justice, the Islamic blueprint for an independent sovereign state particularly on our 65 years independent day commemoration for which we are indeed grateful to Allah. also find the hotel.
And we also want to extend our profound compliment to our head of state and the people of Syrian to have gone thus far and witness this fulfilling moment.
My esteemed audience, the stability of an independent nation state relies on more than just physical borders or economic metrics.
It refers a psychological and social foundation that binds the citizenry together.
to peace.
This is the foundation of security in every state in Islam. This is all shall root be aggress.
exceptional beautiful names of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala as stated in the Quran.
He is Allah. There is no God but him.
The king, the holy, the all peaceful, the giver of security, the overseer, the most mighty, the overpowering, the all great. Exalted be him from whatever they associate with him. Sah al-Hash verse 49.
This is a social contract in Islam and emphasizes the protection of the five fundamental principles or essentials of Islamic doctrines which are hex.
These are referred to as the passive.
The five most important fundamental principles of Islam doctrines that is protection of life is one, protection of property is two, protection of intellect is three, protection of religion is four and protection of lineage.
As a nation that enjoys relative peace and tranquility, we need to strengthen our commitment and foster a culture of peaceful coexistence.
Verses from the Quran and hadith of the prophet Muhammad Sam. Wasallam have sufficiently substantiated the Islamic point of view on peace, love, unity, justice as fundamental ingredients for a sovereign independent state.
Let me emphasize here that a nation's strength is d is derived from its in of this glorific Allah and upon he who is scaring and moving.
The context of this establishes aspiration of something entity which provides the necessary for the prophet is important to have said authentic The prophetess of God said all people in the way and pray all people are sleeping we enter paradise in May our opportunities to enter by commanding spreading action.
The prophet to national.
This is often translated from the simple word you shall know which implies the absence of it of peace and prosperity.
The scripture urges individuals to live at peace with everyone as far as them.
Let me take you to the social that bridges the gap in every nation.
Laws can only dictate behavior but they cannot dictate the law.
Love in an Islamic civic context translate al translates to altruism and empathy among people. Indeed, this is the golden rule which clearly states the principle of wishing for your neighbor that which you wish yourself.
This golden rule has the potential to transform a collection of individuals into an enviable society.
In a state where citizens care for one another's welfare, the need for heavy-handed state policing diminishes, allowing for a more organic bottom up form of independence. The prophetam said, The believer and the believer are like bricks on a constructed wall that provide supports for each other.
For the state to be independent, its citizens must be bound by mutual care.
Mutual care rather than just legal obligations.
This creates a social safety net that reduces internal friction and promotes unconditional love among citizens in a state. In the glorious Quran state below and live with them in kindness and this it is referring to our living together with women. It is referring to women in this case. But we want to make it clear that it also helps us as a nation to live together in kindness.
To live together in kindness. The context of this verse prepares the platform on the principle of mouth, the principle of kindness, the principle of wellknown goal which is the basis for all social interaction in an independent sovereign state. ensuring that all are treated with dignity.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam in complementing this verse stated in one of his authentic He loves for his brother what he loves for himself in Muhari and Muslim. The context of this hadith reiterate on the ultimate golden rule of Islamic citizenship. We pray fervently that Arab grant his divine blessings to the leadership in particular and our in general. Love is frequently cited also as the highest virtue in the Christian faith. One that has to do with selfless and sacrificial love. In Mark 12:30-31, Jesus stated that the greatest commandment are to love God and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Let me take you to unity.
This is the shield of sovereignty.
Unity is the structural strength of a state. We are simply one people, one nation. While Islam speaks to a global community, it references the covenant of Medina and Mulawa where different tribes and religious groups lived under a unified administrative framework.
This teaches that unity does not mean unifority.
It really divers working towards a common national interest.
Obey Allah and his messenger and do not create distance amongst yourselves lest you should lose your courage and you lose your strength. Your strength will definitely depart.
four and five. Verse 46. Unity is described as a rope that prevents a nation from falling into the abies of foreign dependency and an internal collapse.
A united nation is assured of an extraordinary strength and ability to pursue its aspiration. Allah subhana wa ta'ala states in the Quran.
What more can Allah do for you as a people and Allah says and hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided and remember the favor of Allah upon you when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you become you became by his favor as brothers. You are continue to strengthen the brotherhood amongst us in this country.
This is a verse um 103. The context of this verse explicitly links favor that is the blessings of Allah to the act of overcoming immunity and embracing unity.
It warns that division is a loss of divine favor. The prophet wasallam is imported to have said in authentic reported by Muslim the believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wretfulness and fever.
>> In the context of this study, this metaphor defines the perfect sovereign state. If one province of demographic is suffering economically or socially, the rest of the state must feel that pain and act to fix it, ensuring the bull pit remains whole and strong.
In Psalms, it is stated that how good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity.
Let me take you to justice. A state cannot maintain peace, love or unity without the central pillar of justice.
Allah subhanahu wa tala states in the glorious Quran.
Indeed, I command you to render trust to whom they are due. And when you judge between people, judge with justice.
Surah Isa verse 58. In the context of this verse, establish that a sovereign state is a trust. S is a trust. This is a divine responsibility that earns you worthy reward from Allah. We pray that Allah grant you wisdom and ability to dispense this ama the trust in a way that pleases Allah and ears you eternal salvation for your diligent services to our nation. Justice is also a prerequisite in fostering peace. True peace is not the absence of tension but the presence of justice.
The Quran commands in Be persistently standing firm in justice and bearers of witness to truth for the sake of Allah even though it may either be against yourself.
Verse 135 justice in the Bible is all is closely linked to righteousness and the protection of the vulnerable.
It states, "Follow justice and justice alone so that you may live and possess the land the Lord is giving you."
Deuteronomy 16:20.
Without justice, peace is fragile with it extended against the moral authority to remain independent as we are witnessing today.
My revered audience, let me conclude by noting from an Islamic perspective that a state is truly independent when its people are at peace with one another, living by love for the common good and are standing in a unity that no external pressure can fracture. These values create a fortress from within ensuring that independence is not just political status but a lived reality for every citizen in the country. My esting audience the onus is on us now to prevent fragmentation in our beloved nation. Internal division is the primary gateway for foreign intervention. By prioritizing which is unity, a state secures its internal front making it much harder for outside forces to disturbance our nation. Mr. President and my esteemed audience, thank you so much for creating this platform for us to interface on significant issues of this nature for the common good of our beloved Sierra Leon. On behalf of the inter religious council of Sri, I want to wish you a happy and successful independent celebration.
May Allah richly reward you kindness.
Thank you very much Isa Galis.
