[00:00:00]This beetle carries a chemical weapon inside its body. And the way it works is genuinely wild. The bombarder beetle stores two separate chemicals in its abdomen. Hydroquinone in one chamber, hydrogen peroxide in another. Apart, they are stable. But when a predator attacks, the beetle mixes them together.
