Hand Tracking + Camera Passthrough on XR Glasses | VITURE + VertoXR Demo
Added:Today, I'm excited to show you an initial demo of Virto XR's camera passthrough and hand tracking on the Viture glasses.
Before we get started, [music] I'd like to thank Viture for sponsoring this video.
If you're interested in picking up a pair of Viture glasses [music] or accessories, you can use my code Virto XR at checkout to get a discount on your purchase.
First, go to settings and enable camera passthrough mode.
Then enable hand tracking. Hand tracking [music] is still in beta, so it works best in a well-lit environment.
Since this is an early demo, hand gesture [music] tracking and accuracy will continue to improve in future updates.
Choose your preferred layout in either basic or advanced mode, then click launch.
This is the camera passthrough view from your Viture glasses. It works with all Viture Luma and Beast series devices.
Pinch your fingers together to left click and move your hand to control the cursor.
Use the thumbs up gesture to recenter the display at your hands position.
>> Camera passthrough is now also supported in the WebXR [music] browser.
Enable camera passthrough from the browser settings.
We can test camera passthrough using the immersive AR sessions available on the WebXR samples website.
As you can see, the objects are floating naturally in front of me with camera passthrough.
It feels really immersive.
6DoF tracking is also working, allowing me to walk around and view these objects from different angles.
Hand tracking [music] support for WebXR will be added in an upcoming versions.
Camera passthrough and 6DoF [music] work great with spatial videos. Here's a demo using Gracia AI.
>> Hi, >> [music] >> I'm Amy May and this is open.
Will I never know [singing] who do this?
It's a tale of fear and madness now. [music] All my cards are on the [singing] table and I'm ready and I'm able now.
>> [music] >> See, I'm known for my [singing] out of pocket. Don't believe in ever afters [music] now.
But [music] it's ever since you left me, I've got feeling I'm a fool.
>> [music] [singing] >> Let's try a few more demos.
With camera passthrough, [music] I can enjoy the show as if it's happening right on my table.
Thanks for watching.
